Though there is no suction option that doesn’t turn me away as my kids create more mess with the suction plates.

    These are nice quality plates! I use them for toddlers when babysitting. They’re the perfect size for lunch or snacks, easy to clean and durable. The colors are fun, too! I also use two of them for a totally different purpose. My standing paper towel holders’ bases (on the bathroom and kitchen counters) fit perfectly in this size plate. That way, the spongy-like bottom of the paper towel holder doesn’t get wet anymore on the counter. The plate underneath is gentle enough for the counter and easy to clean and dry.

    Good size for toddlers. Washed in dishwasher, top rack, and didn’t warp or taste of soap. Microwaved frozen food and it lasted, no funny smell or taste to the food. Plate is just over 7 inches, photo for comparison. Needed more plates and bowls since my two, baby and toddler, are eating whole solid foods.

    I wasn’t sure they would fit in my dishwasher top rack (why I wanted a small plate), but they do. Not sure what measurement the Product Dimensions is talking about, but the actual plates are around 7 inches in diameter. I haven’t tested durability, but really for the price if they each last a month I’ll still be satisfied. As others have said, though, the plates seem durable enough to be around a while. I don’t microwave much plastic anyway, so their strength/weakness in that category is not important to me.

    I purchased these to use solely as sand anchors to hold our sun protection in place while at the beach. They worked better than I’d hoped. I first drilled a small hole in the center of each plate. I then ran some 275# utility cord through the holes. I tied stopper knots at one end and a taughtline hitches at the other end of the cord. I was able to attach each plate rig to my sun-screen at the grommet points. I buried each plate about a foot down in the sand and covered them well. This setup stayed put on multiple days on the NC OBX. I could easily adjust the tension whenever needed thanks to the hitches.We watched other folks with tarps, umbrellas, and various canopies struggle for up to a half hour trying to get their shade set up. The plates held strong even when we used them to dig the holes they’d be buried in.     I bought these for less than $10 which is SUCH a great deal. I bought these along with the cups and my son loves having his own “big boy” dining sets. I wish I could find the bowls to finish off the set. They’re durable, and incredibly easy to clean. They’ve even held up to having spaghetti sauce on them. I would suggest not cutting food on them, as they are plastic and can wind up with cut marks, but they’re still worth the purchase. Microwave and dishwasher safe as well!

    We got these when our toddler really started to eat meals. They’re perfect size for smaller portions. They’re microwave and dishwasher safe, both a plus to us. They’re easily scratched, with knives mostly, so don’t cut on them. The color hasn’t faded after a year, and they’re still holding up well.

    I bought these with the bowl set. They’re great, durable and easy to clean. I use them everyday for my 2 year old and 18m old. Definitely recommend these plates for toddlers especially if you are trying to move from the tinier toddler plates to a more normal plate. Though there is no suction option that doesn’t turn me away as my kids create more mess with the suction plates.
