This is obviously a cute little sleeper, but the bow is not a headband, it’s a long length of fabric that you tie. Just seems like a bit of a hazard for baby…I know they aren’t sleeping with a headband on, but to have anything that could untie, get caught or and wrap around necks seems like a bad design. I just gave the gift without the tie.

I was very pleasantly surprised by the nice thick quality of the cotton material and I love choosing unique colors and designs other than the stereotypical pink.

When I raised my babies back I. I0s and 90s I found these gowns one of the best and most used baby items ever esp in middle of night ; diaper changing made simple while sleeping deprived and you are also able to regulate comfort accordingly with the weather. You can either tuck baby all in ( like a little burrito) , OR raise up to knees for cooling ibaby off if warm in room or car.

This is a very cute sleeper and seems well-made. Colors are vivid and it will be great in pictures with the “big” siblings also wearing their coordinating shirts, which is the main reason I ordered it. However, it does seem large for a newborn, mainly through the shoulders and sleeves. I’d say it would fit more like a 3-6 months size. Hoping I’m wrong and she’ll get to wear it sooner!
