The seat is okay, although the cup holders are a pain, they don’t stay on, it’s a constant hassle and now the toddler has stuck her finger in the hole and I had to pull off the road to get her finger out. Covered with tape, she’s pulling it off and making a mess. If I hadn’t bought it a few months before her visit I would have sent it back.

I am giving 4 stars because the cup holders don’t stay inserted/locked down. Toddler put bottle in it and the cup holders popped off with little to no movement.

This car seat is exactly as advertised and the cup holders are deep and awesome, hold the Owala water bottle 16 oz just fine and a cup holder food tray works great because these are high enough. If people would read directions, it clearly states to screw the cup holders in and they stay fine.
Other nice feature is my 4 year old can buckle themselves since the harness snaps in easily enough she’s not scared she’ll pinch herself.
One note that it does NOT fit in a rear seat of a Jeep Wrangler. Since this seat doesn’t recline or move the Wrangler seats are too upright. Fits perfect in SUV captain chairs.

DO NOT BUY : My car was recently totaled so I had to buy another car seat for my daughter. I decided on this one. The cup holders will NOT stay in, even after hearing them “click” into place. Installation is on par with other similar car seats. The quality is good although I wish the seat cushioning was a little better. I’m not super excited about all the steps required to convert if from a 5-point harness to a seat belt booster seat. Still, it’s a good seat for the money. The fact that it can be used with a 30 lb. child (meeting the age and height requirements) was a primary reason for us buying it.

Honestly I really love this seat!! Aside from the cup holders (both of them) they break off and fall off with even the lightest pressure. The seats are lovely. Good quality and great value. The extra cupholder on each chair comes in handy as a holder for snacks. Our grandkids just love their new chairs.
One thing the supplier could improve on is the way the seat is fastened to the car seat. Very difficult to pull it tight enough to be safe, especially when you are older like us, or have arthiritis. A simple rachet system would solve the problem, and ensure the seats can be installed as tight as it needs to be, regardless of your age or strength. Overall we are extremely happy with the purchase.

It’s unfortunate that the people that complain about the cup holders not staying in place can have kids and be responsible for another life… there’s a screw that comes with it to screw in the base from the bottom. It’s a great car seat so far, so easy to install, and cup holders that stay in place when you read the instructions. It has a lot more cushion than some of the others in this price range. Would recommend.

IAt first was so happy when found these car seat. My son is 6 years old and he is 53 lbs. He is taller for his age but he is very fit. This car seat doesn’t give him enough wiggle room- it’s too tight. The parts that came with it (e.g. the holder for the drinks) were flimsy and keep falling – they are not stable. It’s not easy to adjust- I’ve watched several videos but struggled to adjust them. The manual is very basic it doesn’t give you enough information in how to set it up or adjust it.
It is very expensive given the fact that the quality is not that good.

This car seat was really easy to install and the only assembly required was screwing in the cupholders. I felt I was able to get it more tightly secured than some others I have used before. I do wish the detachable headrest had a little more cushion to it. Other than that, I highly recommend it.
