It is not always a clear repeat, but it is still fun to hear what it repeats. Loads of fun and laughs. I bought this for a co-worker’s son who was 8 months old. While the baby was actually afraid of it, other children I have bought this for in the past love it. I think the child should be at least 2 years old to fully enjoy this item. I love this item so much I have several of them myself. The grand kids love to play with them every time they visit. If you have two or more, they will talk to each other. They start off repeating what you say and soon evolve into their own gibberish language. It’s hilarious to watch. I highly recommend this item if you are someone who enjoys a good laugh and hours of fun.

My husband and I purchased this talking cactus for Joey (our cat) but it freaked him out a little so we ended up playing with it ourselves for about 3 hours last night and we laughed our heads off!

There are plenty of knock-offs out there. This one has three buttons – microphone, volume, and music. Most only have two and a much smaller music inventory that sounds terrible. This one is the one you want. It will record you, you can adjust the volume, and the music is clear. You can record funny sayings and the kids will laugh and laugh as its repeated by the cactus. This one has a rechargeable battery that last a good bit if you turn it off when not in use. This one also has sewed in eyes so there is no chance of it coming off and getting put in their mouth. Overall good quality. Our grand babies less than a year old love this talking cactus. We tried a cheaper version of the dancing cactus on Babyz Corner but it just did not compare to this one. I bought this for my three year old granddaughter and it was the biggest hit ever with her! She absolutely loves it. I bought her a purple one and the color and lights are so fascinating to her. To hear her laugh and giggle while playing with it is the best feeling ever. She has had it for only for a few days now, so I can’t really give a review as to how long the battery life is. I do hope it last for awhile though.

If you are a parent, or uncle and have little ones running around everywhere, you can keep them entertained forever with this thing. It wiggles and wobbles and plays every simple tune you heard growing up. It can be set on interactive mode. Everything it hears will be repeated back while it dances and lights up. So kids talk to it and then hear their voice in a high pitch funny voice as it dances. It is pretty awesome. I got one with a Sombrero and maracas and a colorful bandana to make it extra fun.

My child has enjoyed this little cactus more than other noise making toys. It has a good variety of songs. Considering it’s been dropped maybe a hundred times already and still works perfectly, I’d say it’s pretty durable. Great value for the amount of entertainment the kiddos will get out of it. Keeps charged for a solid period of time. Sound quality is good as well. Would recommend.
