The down side…. It took over a month to get here and didn’t make it here for the first few weeks of school. I even ordered it 2 weeks before we needed it and when i ordered it said it would make it to us in three days.

It seems that now that my son has actually started kindergarten this August the lunchbox zipper is completely out of Service it’s only the beginning of September. This backpack looked so cute, and my six-year-old was so excited to use it for kindergarten. Unfortunately, it didn’t even last two months. By the end of October, both side pocket nets were ripped, and there’s a large hole in the front pocket where we kept his snacks. I’ve already had to replace it.
I’m really disappointed in the quality—especially since my son’s previous backpack has lasted two full years and is still in great shape. (He just wanted a change this year.) It’s frustrating that this one couldn’t even make it through the first two months of the school year.

Update: we have only used the lunch box 3 times and the zipper broke. So not only did we get it damaged but it’s cheaply made as well. DO NOT BUY.
This is definitely not worth the money. I bought my daughter a bluey backpack from Walmart that came with a headset, better water bottle, pencil holder, and lunch box for half the cost of this and the water bottle is cheap. The lunch box arrived damaged. I got this because my son begged me for it but to pay almost $50 for this is ridiculous. Especially the lunchbox being damaged

I’m really disappointed with this backpack. After just one month of use, the main zipper broke, making it basically unusable. The lunch bag zipper is also really stiff and hard to open, which has been frustrating every day. On top of that, the side pocket netting has already ripped.
Overall, the materials feel cheap and low-quality — definitely not worth the money. I expected it to hold up at least through a school term or a season, but it didn’t even last a few weeks properly. I wouldn’t recommend this backpack if you’re looking for something durable or reliable.

The down side…. It took over a month to get here and didn’t make it here for the first few weeks of school. I even ordered it 2 weeks before we needed it and when i ordered it said it would make it to us in three days.
But with that in mind order way ahead of when you need it just in case because the bag is pretty awesome regardless.

The lunchbox is adorable and sturdy and can fit a Bentgo lunchbox or something similar. I don’t know how well a small ice pack would fit, but I would say one super thin one (like those made for kids’ lunches. Not only that, which we were okay with just cutting the tag off, but then we discovered that one of the zippers was broken entirely. Also, there was dirt in the front pocket or something I had to clean out. 🤮 We unfortunately had to send her to school with it because we didn’t have time to exchange it. I would have liked to receive a brand new backpack for this price.

Inner lining frayed immediately after using zippers. Zipper teeth eats/cuts fabric and leaves metal wiring exposed. Been in use for 1 month since school started. This isn’t a product that will last half a school year never mind 1 entire school year.

Purchased this backpack for my 5yr old and he’s in love with it. The bag is light weight, and has enough room for what he needs to transport to school (books, composition notebook, pencil pouch, water bottle, & even change of clothes) and the included matching lunch box is a great addition as that will easily hold his bento box with all his lunch items and keep it insulated for the few hours until it’s time to eat. I’m very happy to have found this. The stitching on the seams look good and hopefully from a durability standpoint this will last him throughout the entire school year. Zippers all function very well without any snagging. The best part about this bag however, is the cape! It can be tucked away on the top pocket, but when deployed and in use, your kid will definitely be in super hero mode! We’ve received nothing but compliments and perpetual questions as to where we purchased the backpack, which we are not disclosing to ensure that he’s the only kid with the coolest backpack at school 😎.
