Been using this for the last month and here are a few pros and cons.
PROS:
-lighted timer
-easy to adjust
-presets for glass, plastic, and milk storage bags along with different stored Temps (room temp, refrigerator, and freezer)
-can adjust time, even with presets
-memory to recall last setting used
-ability to switch between ml and oz
Fits Dr brown and Philips Avent (9oz) bottles, no problem
CONS:
-Presets are often set too long, we had to reduce timing on each preset to prevent overheating
-no window to check water level
-difficult to open to fill
-no warning of water level being too low, it will throw an error code if the thermostat heats the water too hot, but at that point you run the risk of scorching your milk
-time adjustment is by second without the ability to hold up or down for faster adjustments
One thing to note which is more of a bottle issue – if you use the Dr brown bottles with the straw, it needs to be removed prior to heating otherwise milk can travel up it as its being heated, which is pretty annoying and why we moved to the Philips Avent because there isn’t an issue with heating with their straw inserted.
Biggest complaint is that it’s difficult to open to refill with no fill window. Given how often you need to refill it (daily) I would have hoped for a quick fill opening or at least a window to monitor when it needs to be refilled.

After trying quite a few bottle warmers, this warmer so far works pretty well. I’ve been using this warmer for a few days now, and I do notice the milk does come out a little cold after one warming session, but my baby doesn’t mind it. Very easy to use, especially for my mother in law when she watches baby. Would recommend!

This review is for the Milk Spa.
I’m very disappointed in this milk warmer. It promises to warm milk to body temp, and it promises to preserve breast milk’s nutrients. If the milk is being warmed to 118°, that is way too hot and nutrients in breast milk starts to burn off at 104°. As you can see pictured, I have 3oz milk in a glass bottle from fridge temp, and that was selected on the machine. There’s no way to do half oz or milliliters, either. The only way we’ve figured out to use it is to reduce the amount by an oz.
Also, this is from my own misinterpretation, so you may think so too, but this doesn’t dethaw Frozen milk, it warms from frozen. This poses a problem for me as I freeze more in a bag than we use in a single feed, but once you warm milk, it needs to be used up in 2 hours and not re-stored in the refrigerator. So the frozen option is useless to me until the babe start taking 6 oz in a feed.
Over-all, I’m disappointed. This was so expensive for it not to work as intended to.

We found how to change the timer for the milk. I thought the preset time was the only time it could do. So you can select the oz for the type of bottle and select the little thermometer button and Go over the to the arrows and adjust the time. 🤦♀️ I am not always a manual reader to be honest. But I made sure to read it for set up. I don’t remember seeing that information. I still only give it 4 stars because it takes a long time to heat up milk. But now I know how to adjust it, thank goodness.

Do not buy this bottle warmer!!!! It does not work consistently, WHEN it does work milk comes out scalding hot or ice cold, never warm despite changing all settings. Very very finicky. Every other time we use it the “h2o error” alarm sounds and it has to be unplugged to be reset regardless of how much water is in the well. That’s if you can even access the water well as the top portion is SO incredibly difficult to unscrew and remove. We love all other Dr. Brown products and have quite a few, but this has been a complete disappointment at every use and a giant waste of money. Save yourself the headache and get a different one so when you’re hungry baby is crying for a bottle, you’re not also crying with frustration as a result of this waste of money.

Update 12/17/21:
It’s been exactly a year. Apparently our bottle warmer has been leaking for a while as it damaged the top of our rolling island cart. I hesitate to use an electric appliance with a water leak. I see that the seal inside is warped and assume it has failed. It’s going in the trash tomorrow.

We use this device 7-8 times per day and have been using it for the past 6 weeks since our baby was born.
It’s a simple affair of filling with distilled water to the mark, then selecting where you kept the product you’re trying to heat (room temp, fridge or freezer), and selecting the amount in OZ, as well as the type of container you’re trying to heat up.
Without a fail, this bottle warmer has overheated the milk or the formula every single run, until we realized that we have to use a setting for 1 or 2 oz less, in order to get the bottles heated properly.
It’s highly disappointing that such a well respected brand would get it so wrong on the most basic functionality, the one thing that this device has to do well.
Now that we know, we’re working around this issue by setting the volume of milk or formula we are warming up lower than it is to avoid cooking it, but it should not have to come to that.
I am unimpressed and would not recommend this bottle warmer.

After using a traditional bottle warmer where it was hit or miss on how much water to add vs how much milk I was heating, I picked this up. I have not scalded a single bottle of breastmilk since! No more guessing or fiddling with mls of water at 3am. Just press the type of bottle (glass in big or small, plastic in big or small or bag of breastmilk), select temp of milk (whether from the counter, fridge or freezer), and oz amount (this one is a little more trial and error to get the perfect temp vs oz amount, but I still never scalded anything). Plus you CAN adjust warming time to better suit your needs and it will stay on that setting unless you unplug or change the other settings. This bottle warmer was a life saver. It’s easy to clean, only needing to refill once a day (using it for approx 8 bottles a day), and it really doesn’t take up too much space on the counter.

Honestly bought this thinking we would hardly use it. This is what we use for all of her bottles. The microwave just a few seconds and it’s already burning hot plus all that stuff isn’t good. I love it! I use to get my breast milk from the fridge and put it in here while I changed my babies diaper and swaddled, now I put room temperature water in her bottle put it in and go change her and then put her formula. I’ve also thawed breast milk and it works perfect for all purposes.

I’m not sure how other warmers work but it sounded like they needed you to manually adjust water levels and that sounds horrible. As long as you top up the water every day or two this one just handles it for you. Takes only a few seconds to turn on once you are familiar with the controls. Yes, it can take a few minutes to warm a bottle from the fridge, it’s not magic, but it works so well. I have had a few too warm or too cold bottles when I don’t have a volume that matches one of the options, but you quickly learn when to pull it out a bit early. Would definitely recommend.

I had one from my first kid that stopped working after just over 2 years. Probably should have worked longer, but fine. So I ordered another one – this thing is so bad. It doesn’t warm the bottle at all – Yes, I am using distilled water, up to the proper line. You’re better off with a bowl and warm water. I will be returning this thing. Talk about a step down in quality.

It functions and we’ll be keeping it, but not very impressed. The presets for both glass and plastic, both room temp and fridge, are waaay too long. Yes, you can adjust the time, but the amount of tweaking it takes to get each preset close to needed temp just almost isn’t worth the hassle to have presets.I’m not a small guy, and it takes some serious two handed effort to get the top off and refill the water reservoir. We’re not protecting the Crown Jewels or splitting atoms in their folks. Not sure if this seal is overengineered or under…This may be due to a slightly low water level, but after some rounds of heating, as the water drops back down around the bottle, the machine makes this crazy hissing sound that always startles baby and I almost need a diaper change myself its so loud.

I bought this milk warmer specifically because I wanted to use it to warm up frozen bags of milk. It works well. I do have to thaw the edge of the frozen milk bag slightly with warm water before it fits, but only slightly. The main issue is it takes about 16 minutes to completely thaw a 4oz frozen milk bag. When your little one is crying, those 16 minutes last forever. But it does work. I’m not sorry I bought it, but I do wish it didn’t take so long.

Been using for 5 months about 6 times a day. Absolutely love this warmer. We’ve had no trouble with it. Super easy to use and if you unplug it and plug it back in, it’s still programmed to whatever setting you had it to before unplugging. It’s about 7 in. wide and 9 in. tall. I would recommend this to everyone. Screen is very bright and clear to see.

After trying quite a few bottle warmers, this warmer so far works pretty well. I’ve been using this warmer for a few days now, and I do notice the milk does come out a little cold after one warming session, but my baby doesn’t mind it. Very easy to use, especially for my mother in law when she watches baby. Would recommend!

I’m very disappointed in this milk warmer. It promises to warm milk to body temp, and it promises to preserve breast milk’s nutrients. If the milk is being warmed to 118°, that is way too hot and nutrients in breast milk starts to burn off at 104°. As you can see pictured, I have 3oz milk in a glass bottle from fridge temp, and that was selected on the machine. There’s no way to do half oz or milliliters, either. The only way we’ve figured out to use it is to reduce the amount by an oz.
Also, this is from my own misinterpretation, so you may think so too, but this doesn’t dethaw Frozen milk, it warms from frozen. This poses a problem for me as I freeze more in a bag than we use in a single feed, but once you warm milk, it needs to be used up in 2 hours and not re-stored in the refrigerator. So the frozen option is useless to me until the babe start taking 6 oz in a feed.
Over-all, I’m disappointed. This was so expensive for it not to work as intended to.

We found how to change the timer for the milk. I thought the preset time was the only time it could do. So you can select the oz for the type of bottle and select the little thermometer button and Go over the to the arrows and adjust the time. 🤦♀️ I am not always a manual reader to be honest. But I made sure to read it for set up. I don’t remember seeing that information. I still only give it 4 stars because it takes a long time to heat up milk. But now I know how to adjust it, thank goodness.

After using a traditional bottle warmer where it was hit or miss on how much water to add vs how much milk I was heating, I picked this up. I have not scalded a single bottle of breastmilk since! No more guessing or fiddling with mls of water at 3am. Just press the type of bottle (glass in big or small, plastic in big or small or bag of breastmilk), select temp of milk (whether from the counter, fridge or freezer), and oz amount (this one is a little more trial and error to get the perfect temp vs oz amount, but I still never scalded anything). Plus you CAN adjust warming time to better suit your needs and it will stay on that setting unless you unplug or change the other settings. This bottle warmer was a life saver. It’s easy to clean, only needing to refill once a day (using it for approx 8 bottles a day), and it really doesn’t take up too much space on the counter.

This is the best bottle warmer hands down. No water bubbling at the bottom. You add less than a tablespoon of water and IT STEAMS IT ❤️ done in 60-80 seconds perfect temperature everytime. I purchased one for me and one for my Granddaughter. Oh and it’s $25 cheaper than at BabysRUs.

Great for first time moms trying keep it as easy as possible! I pre make my bottles for the night so I easily heat them up for the baby through out the night ! The vapor does get really hot so be careful of not burning ur self taking bottle out before it’s auto shut off kicks in. Please make sure you use the tops for heating instead of leaving the nipple and top on milk some times bubbles out and gets cooked on the bottom of machine and will smell like it’s burning. I was able clean it out with a small brush that came with my Dr Brown bottles.

I understand what people say when they complain about how it’s inconsistent. Once you get the hang of it it really isn’t that bad but there are a bunch of factors you have to consider aside from whether whatever it is you are warming is frozen, refrigerated or room temperature. The temperature of the actual room matters because the water in the warmer might be warm or cold depending and that affects how long it takes. If you’ve just used it for something else, that will affect how long it takes since the warmer is already warm. You can’t leave anything in there beyond the turn off point or it will just keep getting warmer till it is too hot, so it is really easy to scald things or to have things come out too cold.All that aside, my main issue is that the darn thing leaks, badly. We’ve gone through multiple. We bought one, it started leaking, we returned it, now the new one is leaking. At this point we are just going to go with a different brand and hope for better results since this thing makes a mess of our counter since there is water leaking out through an opening in the bottom. It doesn’t leak when it isn’t running, but when it is we can get a pool of water under it.

I absolutely love this bottle warmer! It’s light and not complicated at all. The more water you add the longer it warms, the less water you add the faster it warms. When you add more water the milk gets hotter, when you add less water the milk is not as warm so it’s measured basically with the amount of water poured in it. There is a measuring tool attached in the back of it to help measure water to increase the perfection of temperature water you want for your baby’s milk. I give it a 4 star cause it is very hot after it’s done and you need gloves or a towel/rag to take the bottle out. The product would be more convenient if gloves or something was available with it. I use a rag, so far so great👍🏼

When people ask me what are absolute must have items for having a baby, this bottle warmer is definitely on the list. I will just caution 2 things:
1. This product does not work well with hard water or well water. We have a well and use softening salts for our tap water. Due to how this product heats water until nothing is left in the tray, you will get a lot of salt build up that will need you to de-scale the warmer every two days or so. We use bottled water now.
2. Make sure no milk is on the exterior of the bottle when warming it. It may drip onto the warming plate and burn.

Had originally ordered two; one for the nursery, one for the kitchen. The first warmer we received arrived broken and wouldn’t even turn on, so we sent it back.
The second one works as intended but is difficult to figure out how much water to put in at a time for bottles.
The chart they send with the warmer that explains how much water to use per oz or bottle style is not reliable and we are running off of trial and error (and minimal sleep), so maybe not a great warmer for the early stages.

I got this while I was pregnant and am still using it regularly at 10 months postpartum. Originally, I loved it for it’s sterilization setting since I didn’t have a sterilizing dishwasher yet. Now I use it for warming bottles and glass baby food jars. It’s simple and easy to use. Does a good job warming milk (not too consistent results when warming refrigerated puree foods, but I prefer it to the microwave). It’s small and doesn’t take up too much counter space. It doesn’t leak water and it’s easy to refill the water tank. Also a good price and a trusted brand. I am glad I purchased and I would recommend if you’re looking for versatility.

This product is super quick at heating bottles and only has one button- very simple.
My baby is exclusively bottle fed so we do get quite a bit of use out of this bottle warmer. I love that it is so simple. You just measure a small amount of PURIFIED water in the bottom and press the button and it is done in about a minute or so. It must be purified water or else you will get buildup in the machine and it will be disgusting and not work correctly.
Now I will say, whoever made this did not try to use it with a crying baby in tow. It is almost impossible to pour the water in the measuring cup while holding a baby and even harder if that baby is moving and upset. The little measuring cup cannot be set on the counter or anything, it is rounded on the bottom so you must be holding the bottle of PURIFIED water and the cup, one in each hand.
You do need to use some trial and error with the amount of PURIFIED water you use, for us the numbers in the chart made the bottle too hot. It also gets too hot if you forget about it and leave the bottle in the machine for longer than you meant to when the cycle is up.
Oh and did I mention you must use purified water!
