This is the best baby carrier I have ever used- the fabric is great quality and soft. Plus it’s one of the view structured carriers that is safe for newborns. Baby has to be at least 7 lbs to use safely. We love it! I can breastfeed in it easily due to the stretchiness of the fabric. It is easy to put on by myself and I walked far in it and had no back pain. Highly recommend to anyone with a newborn! I’m 5ft 2 in and it works well for my dimensions. Also the style is pretty cute rather than some of those ugly bulky carriers.

Why did you pick this product vs others?: Did a bunch of research and I had high hopes for this carrier. It was Ok for my baby until he was about three weeks old. Up until that point I was folding it as indicated for the under 23″ babies. However, around three weeks old when using that mode the carrier no longer provided the correct head support, barely coming up to his shoulder. He wasn’t 23 inches yet but was clearly too tall for this mode, but if I switched it to the over 23″ mode, the leg support was way too wide. Maybe I happen to have a baby with a long torso and shorter legs, but it was frustrating.
Also, I do not like the straps. They were designed to fan out over the shoulder but they don’t stay on the shoulder unless I don’t move. I bought this to wear when out walking the dog, so moving, lifting my arm with the leash, etc is necessary. It can be worn with the straps vertical (not fanned out over the shoulder), but that doesn’t leave much room for baby’s face when worn that way. AND, I don’t know why the design is such that when you tighten the length of the shoulder straps it also tightens across the body of the baby. Seems like the support/position of the baby should be a separate adjustment from the length of the straps.
Long story short, this carrier doesn’t work for me. Maybe when baby is older it will be better. but he’s seven weeks today and it still just doesn’t ever feel like he’s in it comfortably and in a healthy position.

Like any carrier, there are things to like and things that could be better.
Things to like: Very breathable Soft for baby Easy to put on and adjust
Could be better: Not very supportive— the straps just seem to stretch rather than support, and the belt has a tendency to fold in on itself while baby is in carrier Seems to sag after wearing for more than a few minutes, even when cinched up properly
Overall it’s comfy enough for doing things around the house and baby seems to like it. I was hoping for more in terms of support, given the price. Wouldn’t recommend it for long activities or excursions.

Material is soft and comfortable however it is really hard to get baby in the right position. There is not enough room in the seat for his butt to go lower than his knees creating the “M” shape that babies should have. Also where the straps buckle in pulls against his back so his back can’t arch slightly forward. Lastly the straps don’t stay tight and loosen in the first 10-15mins of wearing him. For context, I have 2 other carriers that my husband and I use for outings outside the house but I bought this one looking for a softer and comfier option around the house to keep my baby off of his back. I would not order this one again.

I was looking for a baby carrier for my Velcro Baby, so I would be able to use 2 hands to do stuff around the house and for certain outings. With my first son I had the K-Tan, which was nice, but my neck and back would start to hurt pretty soon after putting it on. I needed something I could wear for longer periods this time. After doing a ton of research, I purchased the Ergo Embrace.
Pros: *This carrier is very easy to use. I can put it on and get my son in it securly by myself. *It is highly adjustable. *It is comfortable to wear for long periods of time. *It is lightweight and portable. *Decent price point. *Nice color *Machine Washable
Cons: *Not good for long term use because it only goes up to 25 pounds, but I’ve heard it gets harder to wear once baby hits 15 pounds. *When my baby is very small he could rest his head on the back of the carrier, but as he grew this wasn’t an option anymore and he could only rest his head on me, so I’ve had to be more vigilant of where his head is and make sure I have my hand on it if I’m bending down. *While it is very portable it doesn’t fold up nice or come with a carrying bag.
Overall, I would highly recommend this carrier.

We live in this carrier. Very soft but firm fabric, infinitely adjustable, great neck support for a newborn, and with the crossed soft straps on the back it has great back and shoulder support for mom or dad. It is crazy easy to use, and offers amazing comfort for parent and baby. Great “M” positioning for recommended ergonomic baby wearing. My 3 month old daughter has all her daytime naps in it, and has done so pretty much from her second week onward. It folds up really small, so it fits in the diaper bag. Also, if you’re breastfeeding this thing is amazing. You can loosen the straps, push baby off to one side and lower to nurse them, then switch sides. I can nurse her hands free while emptying the dishwasher or playing a game with my son, or even pumping on the other side, and when she passes out and unlatches, I can lift her by her bottom, tighten the side straps and she naps on my chest. For comparison, I also own and have regularly used ring slings, wraps, stretchy wraps, the original ergo and mei tai carriers with both my children – but this one is my favourite for ease of use and comfort.

This baby carrier is FANTASTIC. Simple design, easy to get on by myself, compact, and not bulky at all. It’s the perfect combo of head support for newborn while still not too high on his head to allow air to get to his nose so he’s not rebreathing what he blows out. Shoulder straps are SO comfy. Don’t have to adjust throughout the time wearing it. No pockets, but that helps make it compact, which is what I want. Because it’s not bulky, I can easily use both hands to do tasks. My ONLY con is I wish the waist belt was slightly comfier, but I assume it will be once we’re out of the newborn function.

This is 90% a great infant carrier – with some drawbacks. The good: This is a comfortable carrier, both for my back and for the baby. Three guest time I used it the baby napped for two hours and I did not have any back pain afterwards. It is, as advertised, soft and folds up small. The baby (3 weeks old) was well-supported and felt secure. The bad: This carrier is hot and not great for hot or humid weather. Compared with other carriers (ktan, ring sling, lillebaby) it is difficult to breastfeed with the baby in the carrier – her face ends up kind of squished to the side. It is also hard to adjust the waist start for breastfeeding when the baby is in the carrier and the rolled up strapn ends are uncomfortable – it would be better if it was possible to tuck them in. It would definitely be nice if the carrier had a sun shade for the baby’s head and even a small pocket for phone and keys. And last – while the fabric and straps seem good quality, there were a lot of loose threads on the seams, which I don’t expect with a $100 carrier.

I have tried a few different carriers, this is by far my favorite. The hybrid of being a carrier and a wrap is a dream. The fit is snug and comfortable. I will say when I first put my 20 lb 6 month old forward facing, it did leave bruises on his legs. You have to get it just right! With my firstborn, I had the ergo360. He was 10lbs when he came out and when I say carrying him in the 360 killed my hips, I mean it. Anytime I would do a hike, within 35 minutes I was hurting. This carrier is a game changer and never hurts! Its extremely easy to get on and off by myself- even my fiance can do it on himself. I had my second son in February so I went with the regular material instead of the breathable. It isn’t terrible in the summer, but I sometimes wish I had done the mesh. I have breastfed numerous times while hiking and having my baby laying on my chest without anyone noticing. Functionality is great. The value is WELL WORTH THE MONEY! I bought one of the girls I work with one for her baby shower present! 5 ✰✰✰✰✰

A top 5 baby item. With my first child I only used a wrap. It made me feel secure, like he was nice and snug and close. He was also born in the winter in the PNW. With baby #2 being a summer baby, I was worried about her over heating and was getting annoyed with how much effort it took for her to get into the wrap. My husband likes the big ergo baby but that is so structured and I don’t love wearing it. I asked some friends what they liked and this was the one I went with. Boy am I glad it was. I love the appearance of this wrap. It offers the snug and secure fit of a wrap but breathability with the openness of the sides and nice cozy but thin jersey material. It is sooooo easy to get baby in this carrier, I can do it completely independently. She snoozes hard in this thing as well. I have considered getting a second because my husband now prefers this one and he is always massing with my settings, adding the 2 second adjusting inconvenience… I joke… maybe…

I own a baby ktan and ergo baby 360. This carrier is the perfect combo between a wrap and structured carrier.
I purchased this for my 5 month old who only contact naps in the carrier. I needed something supportive that wouldn’t kill my back but also lightweight and comfortable for baby. The ergobaby 360 was way too structured and bulky for everyday use at home. It’s definitely a great carrier for outdoor adventures because it provides so much support but at home it was uncomfortable for me. The baby ktan was great while baby was a newborn but I felt like it stretched over time and my baby was not sitting properly. Baby would slide around. Also the baby ktan would pull on my shoulders and the fabric would bunch up in the back making it very uncomfortable. I would be in pain every day.
The embrace has softy stretchy jersey like material that is very comfortable! It provides light padding in the right places for me and baby to be comfortable. The should straps don’t pull on my back or shoulders. I’m easily able to sit on the rocking chair and snuggle with my baby. The straps are also not restrictive at all which allows me to move around and get things done around the house. The ktan would limit me to move my arms up and down so doing anything was very difficult and painful! I love that the Embrace clips on which makes it very easy for me to put my baby in and out of the carrier and it’s easy for family members to use when watching the baby which was something I struggled with the baby ktan. It’s very hot where we live and I love that the fabric is breathable so I can take my baby outdoors with it.
I’m a petite woman (4”11” 113 lbs) with a long heavy baby and this carrier fits well. It could be a tiny little bit smaller in my opinion but it’s very hard to find carriers for petite women that don’t cost so much $$$. The ktan size xs fit me great but the 360 was way too large for me. I had to cross the straps and even then the straps would bulge out and didn’t fit comfortably. If you’re petite I would def recommend the Embrace. The price point on this carrier is great value for your money! I love the colors it comes with! I purchased the pink and it’s a soft pink color 😍. I do wish it came with a detachable hood like the 360! It’s also light weight enough that it folds down pretty small to fit in the diaper bag. The ktan and the 360 took up so much space.
Overall I’m very happy with my purchase and my baby is comfortably napping as I write this review 🥰

The only note if you live in a hot climate it might be a bit hot for the baby as the fabric makes them or warm and snug, so make sure it is not too hot for the baby.

A great alternative to those wrap around carriers (the ones with miles of fabric that you have to twist and tie yourself). This is super easy to put on by yourself. It’s breathable and lightweight. It’s also easy to clean. Would buy again in a heartbeat as it’s well worth the extra money compared to some cheaper carriers. Fit my baby from birth (7lb) and still going strong (9-10lbs, 22″ tall). Not sure how long we’ll be able to use it once she’s taller though.

I don’t understand how this is comfortable. It either pulls on the neck or it caps your shoulders and you can move your arms. It needs a buckle or something for the cross on the back to keep it from riding up to your neck

I don’t normally write reviews, but this is my second Ergobaby carrier and I could not be happier. We have the Omni360 which works super well for our older child, but this is the best option for newborns. It’s as soft and comfy as our baby wrap but is far more supportive and way easier to put on. My newborn takes almost all her naps in this carrier- knocks her out every time! We love it. Washes well too 🙂

This has by far been the best bang for my buck. I use this everyday multiple times a day for my velcro baby. He instantly stops crying. It’s comfy for both of us, super user friendly and great for moving about. With other carriers I always felt like I was wearing a weight vest or something but this one feels super light, breezy and comfortable. Definitely 10/10 recommend, especially for those with a “Velcro baby”

I’m a first time mom to a newborn who doesn’t like to sleep during the day. This carrier is one of the few things that instantly soothes him to sleep when he’s overtired and fussy. He goes from scream crying to sleeping within a minute — it’s amazing and a lifesaver! And as a first time mom I appreciate how simple it is to put on and wear without any assistance, and I’m able to move around and still get things done. Highly recommend for little newborns who want to be close to you for contact naps!

I like this carrier because of its material, color, & price. The material is very breathable, it’s a mesh material almost jersey material that I think will be good for the Cali heat. The material makes It very comfortable for me & baby seems to be comfortable as well. The only con is that because the material is so stretchy sometimes it can feel loose or too tight on baby, but if you play around with it you‘ll find that it’s a good product for the price. If baby feels too loose try tightening the side straps after pulling up on the shoulders. They have a lot of helpful videos on their Instagram if you need help.

This is a great carrier I’ve been using it a ton since my daughter was about 2 months and she is 5.5 months now. Very easy to use by yourself, it’s comfortable. The fabric is soft. Quality is great and you can put it in the washing machine. Can be used forward facing also, I just think it’s not as comfortable she always has marks on her legs afterwards. But it is a great carrier! Definitely recommend

I tried multiple carriers and this one is by far the easiest one to use. I love how it’s lightweight and grows with your baby. I thought I would love the fabric wrap carriers but they’re so complicated. Use this for our daily walks outside and baby wearing while getting chores done, it’s just perfect. I’ve been using this since my baby was a newborn and he’s now 9 weeks, 12 lbs and there’s no strain on my back.

I love how soft this carrier is and how compact it can be. The pink color is also really pretty. I’ve been attempting to use it for my 2 month old (12lbs). Unfortunately she seems to sit way too low. And if I roll the bottom up to sit her up higher, there is no head support for her. She seems comfortable but the fit just doesn’t seem right and it’s not convenient to always support her head. I’m 5’8”, avg build with a larger chest, maybe that’s the issue, I don’t know. I plan to return 🙁

I have a Baby Bjorn carrier at home which I loved for my first baby. I didn’t carry my first as often though around the house but with my second I feel like I am always carrying him. I wanted a carrier that was a bit softer and easier to get baby in and out of and this is it! I love the ease of putting baby in the carrier and the material is nice and durable. My baby falls asleep quickly and I feel like he is not only comfortable but also secure!

I have tried several different baby carriers, and this is by far my favorite. I think this is the most comfortable for not only me, but also my baby. It is a soft material, so it is the most comfortable, especially for a newborn baby. My baby started using it at around two weeks old maybe even younger all the way to present day and she is around 7 1/2 months currently. She loves this carrier because she can face me or face out, and she often falls asleep in it. We have traveled all over the country and even to Japan with our baby in this carrier- mama loves it, baby loves it!
It is definitely a great value for the price. It’s not crazy expensive but it’s also not a cheap carrier. It’s made with good material. I also really like that it’s easy to put on by yourself. The straps cris cross on the back, which is personally easier than having three buckles that you have to clip in (my other back pack material carrier is like that and I find it so much harder).

I really like how light weight the carrier and still able to carry my 1 year old and 3 year old. I had the original embrace carrier which had thicker materials and I also purchased the new model in soft grey mesh. The newer model is lighter and so much softer. This my favorite carrier by far.
I’ve tried other baby carriers: ergo360, babybjorn mini and free. these didn’t work out because the straps would pull on your back, leaving aching at the end of the day.
The embrace carrier really is ergonomic. It’s so comfortable to wear for long periods.

Like any carrier, there are things to like and things that could be better.
Things to like:
Very breathable
Soft for baby
Easy to put on and adjust
Could be better:
Not very supportive— the straps just seem to stretch rather than support, and the belt has a tendency to fold in on itself while baby is in carrier
Seems to sag after wearing for more than a few minutes, even when cinched up properly
Overall it’s comfy enough for doing things around the house and baby seems to like it. I was hoping for more in terms of support, given the price. Wouldn’t recommend it for long activities or excursions.
Hannah –

Pros:
*This carrier is very easy to use. I can put it
on and get my son in it securly by myself.
*It is highly adjustable.
*It is comfortable to
wear for long periods of time.
*It is lightweight and portable.
*Decent price point.
*Nice color
*Machine Washable
Cons:
*Not good for long term use because it only goes up to 25 pounds, but I’ve heard it gets harder to wear once baby hits 15 pounds.

The carrier is excellent, very soft and extremely comfortable for the baby.
Also a great back support, I can wear it for longer stretches of time. Love the product.
The only note if you live in a hot climate it might be a bit hot for the baby as the fabric makes them or warm and snug, so make sure it is not too hot for the baby.

This carrier is perfect for my 8 week old! It is affordable and It is easy to put on and adjust yourself. It allows me to get things done around the house without worrying about him sliding down. The material is great it makes it cool and breathable even in this Texas heat. The carrier is designed to be used as he continues to grow not just as a new born. I’m excited to use this as my baby continues to grow.
Bayli Anderson –
Material is soft and comfortable however it is really hard to get baby in the right position. There is not enough room in the seat for his butt to go lower than his knees creating the “M” shape that babies should have. Also where the straps buckle in pulls against his back so his back can’t arch slightly forward. Lastly the straps don’t stay tight and loosen in the first 10-15mins of wearing him. For context, I have 2 other carriers that my husband and I use for outings outside the house but I bought this one looking for a softer and comfier option around the house to keep my baby off of his back. I would not order this one again.

This carrier is so soft, and so easy to get on and off! My little guy loves hanging out in there with me, I’ve even gone for walks for a couple miles with him in there (he’s my weighted vest lol). It’s very ergonomic, I find it very comfortable to wear, and it feels very secure and safe.

Why did you pick this product vs others?:Did a bunch of research and I had high hopes for this carrier.

This is 90% a great infant carrier – with some drawbacks.
The good:
This is a comfortable carrier, both for my back and for the baby. Three guest time I used it the baby napped for two hours and I did not have any back pain afterwards. It is, as advertised, soft and folds up small. The baby (3 weeks old) was well-supported and felt secure.
The bad:
This carrier is hot and not great for hot or humid weather.

Yuliya Kuklina –
Purchased it as a gift for my friend, it was from the registry. She said she chose this because of the quality and fabric, it is also adjustable as the baby grows.

This item is very soft and sturdy, however it was not good for holding a baby head.

This is the only carrier that I have been able to figure out how to use. It’s simple and it’s secure. I don’t feel like my baby is going to slip out or go anywhere. He is comfortable and happy in it. It’s pretty easy to put on. It even has directions right on the carrier in case you ever forget or lose the instructions.
Chelsea –
Baby will outgrow soon but so easy to use and comfy for her.
Babyz Corner Customer –
I don’t understand how this is comfortable. It either pulls on the neck or it caps your shoulders and you can move your arms. It needs a buckle or something for the cross on the back to keep it from riding up to your neck
Abby –
Better off paying a little bit more and getting an actual structure carrier. This one does not offer good back and shoulder support.
Elise –
I don’t normally write reviews, but this is my second Ergobaby carrier and I could not be happier. We have the Omni360 which works super well for our older child, but this is the best option for newborns. It’s as soft and comfy as our baby wrap but is far more supportive and way easier to put on. My newborn takes almost all her naps in this carrier- knocks her out every time! We love it. Washes well too 🙂
Ellery Smith –

Anna Chang –
I tried multiple carriers and this one is by far the easiest one to use. I love how it’s lightweight and grows with your baby. I thought I would love the fabric wrap carriers but they’re so complicated. Use this for our daily walks outside and baby wearing while getting chores done, it’s just perfect. I’ve been using this since my baby was a newborn and he’s now 9 weeks, 12 lbs and there’s no strain on my back.
Crystal Vaughan –

This thing is incredibly easy to put on. Both me and baby stay cool and don’t get sweaty. The support for my back and shoulders is awesome and the softness makes it super comfortable. My baby falls asleep instantly when I put her in it. It’s a great product and worth the cost. Total life saver!

Easy to put on, easy to carry, easy to wash. It’s lightweight so it will be good for summer.

Does’nt feel like im carrying anything but my baby…we’re both loving it.
To all mumies Ive got no regrets at all, just make sure you buy the correct waist size bc you dont want to choke your waist, mine is perfect…anyway, I was blessed to get it at a discount price😇 so im buying another one to gift a new mumy to-be soon!
Lauren Day –
I really like how light weight the carrier and still able to carry my 1 year old and 3 year old.
