My daughter picked it out because it was cute and a light lavender color. Has plenty of storage for a grade school kid but…..it is a little bit made on the cheap side. Zippers get misaligned easy, are flimsy, heck the zipper tag came off with days of purchase, it’s an easy fix but like new in box essentially should not of happened. Material is pretty thin, this is definitely bought more for looks than anything. Almost like fast fashion of backpacks. I was hesitant to buy a backpack off Babyz Corner but my kid was headed back to in-person school and I needed something fast. I was kinda iffy on the price but it was worth it. Has lots of storage!! Even a designated space to carry her chrome book to school and back home and it was well protected. Not a thin backpack by any means. It’s simple and cute. The keychain though – it fell apart quick. One of the fluffy balls fell off and within a week they both fell off, so we just removed the decorative keychain all together. But that wasn’t a huge deal. It was kind of big even with the straps tightened all the way. My kid is in 4th grade and almost 10 years old and she said it was sagging down to her butt. Oops!! So maybe get this for an older kid more in high school? It worked for the 1 month we needed it for and we would use it next year again, if it wasn’t too big! I would recommend!

My daughter is 11 years old and she carries a lot of books to school. She has this bag for 2 years and even though she carries it everyday. It still looks brand new. I got this bag halfway through the school year for Christmas, and it’s great! The pockets can hold 2 water bottles for gym and keep them cold! (tip: if your last period class is gym freeze the water the night before and it’ll be cold water by the time gym starts) There are a ton of compartments to separate stuff into, and a discrete area to place your period products & makeup into! The single problem is that the zippers break quickly, they only lasted half a semester before both of the main zippers fell off. This is only a minor inconvenience though because it’s still completely openable even without both of them! It appears to be the only weak spot at least, it handled a TON of roughhouseing without a single rip :D.

It hasn’t been that long for the durability, only 2 weeks, but the capacity is above par. I was really concerned about the size when I bought it (because last school year the backpack I purchased my daughter had the same dimensions but sub par capacity) this one however fits two 1″ binders, a large accordion folder, multiple additional folders, a large, filled pencil pouch, a chromebook and a lunch box in the main compartment. That’s NOT including the addtional storage this bag has. There is a front flap that fits a bunch of colored pencils, erasers and a full on 48 pack of mechanical pencils, there is a front zippered area that fits even more (capacity not fully tested, but an additional stuffed pencil pouch fits in it with room to spare) there is also a rear zippered pocket that fits a Samsung A10e with a pop socket, case and earbuds (also with room to spare) it’s cute, functional, and my 11 year old can pack it and carry it with no problem for the 6th grade. Great purchase!
