my babygirl loves this thing!! and its HUGE! just for comparison, shes 25.5 inches long. had a strong plastic-y smell when i first opened it but it went away. i wiped it down w a disinfectant wipe. HURRY UP AND BUY!

Insanely terrible smell, I rinsed the mat with soap water , air dry it outside- it smells sooooo bad, the small stuck on my hands, our bathroom now smells like it. It’s crazy they sell this for NEWBORNS, what is wrong with them. Don’t buy it, keep your little ones safe and away from this toxic mat.

A little trick we use is to fill it with warm water, which she seems to find more comfortable. The only downside is that it is hard to fill without making a mess. I think future updates of this product will have the hole a little closer to the edge to make that easier.

My grandson loves this mat. He’s 10 months old and loves chasing the fish around the mat. It’s beautiful, durable. For sure, little ones need monitoring when you are using it. Also make sure the child can lift his/her head to prevent unintended suffocation.

Great mat! I wanted one that would be big enough for both my kids (3 years old,11 months) to use this summer in heatwaves to cool off. I know from last experience these water mats can get pretty cold, which is exactly what I needed! They don’t sit in it together in case it’s too much weight, but the baby crawls around on it and sits on it and my toddler can do so when the baby is not on it, or have his feet on it or something.
It is a bit awkward to fill up! Luckily I had my husband to help.
And obviously, since it’s full of water, it’s pretty heavy when full.
But we love it and I would purchase it again!

Honestly I want to give it 5 stars because my baby LOVESSSS this thing!! It definitely helped him gain strength in this torso because shortly after getting this, he was balancing much better and began crawling. We do love it! However 4 stars because the plastic they use is very strong smelling of chemicals…. and the outter rim with air was easily punctured. Also note: after a few months, the water inside becomes slimy and the plastic gets all slippery. We might try to clean it with soapy water and refill..but the flat rim is a bummer.

Impossible for me to move once I get water in it.. not sure how I’m supposed to replace the water period. The material also gets super cold and my baby starts to cry if he’s in it too long every time unfortunately. Hasn’t been a hit so far but the idea is cool

Good size, my baby really likes it, but strong chemical odour is something that makes me think it is not so safe as the seller says. I’ll let it sit outside for a couple days and then check if odour is gone. If not, will send it back.
