And this bottle set is a very good bargain as compared to the bottle sets Tommee Tippee offers with fewer bottles in the set. My granddaughter was started on the Dr. Browns bottles until my daughter bought the first set of 6 Tommee Tippee bottles at 3 months and now that she is 8 months old I went ahead and bought another 6 bottle set of TT bottles, since my daughter had sent some of the bottles to day care for use there. The only problem with this set is the lack of choice of what nipple size comes with it. The bottles come with #1 nipples in them and they don’t offer a choice of nipple sizes, making you buy another set of nipples for older children still feeding on a bottle. But I figured a way around this drawback. I took a 1/16 inch drill bit and put it on my drill and ran it through the nipple hole and actually opened up the nipple hole enough to get decent flow, like a #3 nipple. The silicone nipple doesn’t actually drill out, but rather just opens up the nipple hole enough to get a better flow rate. After doing this, the nipple still doesn’t leak but flows right about the same as a #3 nipple. That will save you around the twelve bucks it costs for a new set of bottle nipples. These Tommee Tippee bottles do seem to hold up very well and are easy to clean too.

I am a first time mom so I had no idea how to go about choosing the right bottle. We had so many given to us at the baby shower it was a little overwhelming and when we needed to switch to formula feeding the doctor warned us baby might have trouble switching between bottle and breast. This was not an issue with Tommee Tippee! I did end up needing to buy size 0 nipples separately as this set comes with size 1 and it was a little too fast at first for my newborn but around 6 weeks he was able to start using the size 1 nipples so I didn’t really consider that a problem. These bottles are super easy to take apart and clean – no confusing valves or tubes, just 3 easy pieces. Baby is mostly formula fed but will still occasionally breastfeed and we have not had any issues switching between the two. I don’t even want to try any of the other bottles we were given because I like these so much. And I love that they come in such fun colors! Would highly recommend these bottles to anyone looking to combination feed or just to have bottles that are have easy cleanup!

These are by far my absolute favorite bottles. For the price, you just can’t beat the quality and longevity. We used these with my first child, who was fed at the breast and by bottle, and we plan on using them for the second. With my first child, I started off using the Medela bottles because I was told they cause “the least nipple confusion,” but I noticed my son was very cranky when he would drink from them. Instead of chalking it up to not wanting to take a bottle, I noticed how different the nipple was from a breast. This led me to do a full-scale review to compare the many different bottle options out there. For my comparison, I used the following bottles: this bottle (Tommee Tippee closer to nature), Medela, Philips Avent, Dr. Browns, Spectra, and Munchkin Latch.
This bottle yielded the best result for me. The only time I experienced a leak with these was when I was tired/lazy and put the lid on wrong. Otherwise, my son loved these! They were very easy for him to hold do the the hourglass shape, and the variety of nipples were perfect for our needs. We used the slow flow up nipples until 4/5 months, then switched to the medium flow until 8/9 months, then finished off our bottle feeding with the fast flow. His latch on this bottle was immaculate, even better than his latch on my breast if I’m quite honest, due to its size. I loved that these could be washed in the dishwasher, however, it is important to note after so many washes, you might see the measurement marks start to rub off (but this happens with most plastics so was not a huge deal for us). The best part of these was the price; they were the most affordable to obtain between bottle and nipple, and they worked the best. Truly shows you don’t need to spend a ton of $ to get a great product.
My runner-up/honorable mention bottle was the Philips Avent. We loved this bottle, but it ended up working out ALMOST just as well as this one, so I couldn’t justify the high price. Also, the nipples are a bit tricky with the Avent, so you have to match a little notch on the nipple to a notch on the ring — when you’re tired/lazy, the last thing you want to do is a puzzle with bottles. If you don’t match this up, milk leaks all over baby. But otherwise, it was a great bottle and wouldn’t hesitate to use it if it weren’t for the TT bottles.
Both the Medela and Dr. Brown’s bottles yielded the same issue for me; the nipple was too small, and my son just couldn’t get a comfortable latch. Also, with the Dr. Brown’s bottles, I know some people swear by them, but there were just TOO MANY PARTS. And if you didn’t clean them right, they clogged or just got funky. This was not a road I was willing to continue down. As far as the Medela, I will say they are EXCELLENT for milk storage, and I intend to use them for that purpose with my second child.
My son was able to get a nice latch on both the Spectra and Munchkin Latch bottles, but these two leaked so bad, there was no way I could justify using them. The Munchkin Latch started to leak from the bottle after only a few uses, which drenched me and my child in milk. I even replaced the valve to ensure it just wasn’t damaged, but it still continued to leak. The Spectra bottles just couldn’t get a good seal on the ring with the nipple. No matter how tight or loose you secured it, there were still leaks, so I just ended up using these for milk storage (which they worked a-ok for.
Overall, my 5-star bottle pick is the Tommee Tippee. As previously mentioned, for the price you just can’t beat the quality. It’s afforable, easy to clean, durable, practically leak-proof (when used correctly — some people really struggle with these for some reason and I cannot for the life of me understand how unless they are vice gripping these tight), and last forever! Highly recommended!

Not sure everyone’s complaints of the packaging being awful but ours came well packaged, bottles weren’t just thrown in the box and they did not have any appearance like they’d been washed and returned. So that was a relief.
These are legit tomee tippee bottles. I was worried they wouldn’t be legit. The nipples are also identical to the legit ones so I think they are also.
My issue is only with the company as the flow 1 nipple is so fast and these leak from the nipple! We use another brand bottle and their size 3 don’t make my son get milk running out his mouth or choke on it where these do. Not sure if they make a newborn or size 0 nipple but now I have to see. The size 2 nipples I got aren’t going to be needed anytime soon now…
Besides that. These bottles are cute. The red one sort of does look pink…I’m a little annoyed there’s 2 different shades of blue and not just a different color given entirely-a clear one instead would’ve been better imo…and I wish the tops where the nipple goes and it gets screwed on bottle was the same color as all of them and not color specific because it messes with my OcD bad…they must match the bottle I’m using and it’s getting on my nerves but I can’t let it go…stupid I know…
Be aware…the nipple design is weird. There’s a piece inside of it you must pinch to make sure it pops open and isn’t stuck sealed before giving to baby so the nipple doesn’t deflate. If you don’t check it the nipple will deflate on you. Just a weird thing to remember to do. The nipples also a bit hard to put into the ring due to design but once you get used to it they aren’t bad. Besides that they are the same as every other bottle basically. I don’t notice an issue with gassiness being worse at all with these compared to brands like Dr browns or Phillips avent….
I like the size. It’s a 9 ounce bottle that isn’t crazy tall or huge. These are the same height as a 5 ounce from most other brands that have crazy tall bottles. They are wider but I prefer that as I have an easier time holding them. My 6 month old also holds his own bottle sometimes and doesn’t seem to mind these at all to hold.

My son uses these on the daily and they are very well sterilized and all the writing is still on them.
He also had no problems with the nipple it comes with and he actually prefers it over any other bottle.

I wish the nipples were harder like that of the Boon Nursh Bottles and once you place it in it pops into place as easily however otherwise they are good bottles. I use them for the daycare. I do wish there was an option to change the nipples out and turn the bottles into sippy and straw tops and have removable silicone handles so you get more bang for your buck

However, all of their bottles come with a size 1 nipple. My daughter aspirated and choked on this nipple so bad, it’s too fast. I wish someone told me to order the size zero before. I was about to give up on the bottle until I went onto their website that stated they offered a slower flow. Idk why they wouldn’t start off all their bottles with the slowest.

All 3 of my kids need the slow flow nipple due to latching issues and this was the only bottle with a nipple that they were able to latch comfortably. I was also supplementing with nursing and bottle feeding and this nipple did the job. There were no issues with transitioning from breast to bottle. they are also very easy to clean but I run them through the dishwasher on the top rack.

Was so excited to try this brand. Loved the shape and everything, however ive tried multiple ones, but the only reason i gave it 4 stars is because my daughter was not wit it at all. She’s exclusively breastfed and the nipple on this bottle was actually harder to latch onto which made her even more upset than usual when feeding from a bottle. So honestly if you have a baby whos the same way and youre looking for another brand i wouldnt suggest this one. Other than that i see no issue!

Love these bottles! Great price for a great product. We have the regular clear ones and the fiesta coloured bottles and I have never had a problem with leakage, the shape makes holding them really easy, and baby drinks very well out of these. The venting system seems to work great – we just nake sure the vent isn’t stuck closed with each use. Great quality, the measurements are still perfectly clear and we wash these bottles once every day or two.

The wife thinks these are the bees knees! They certainly let the baby get their lips on and a good no drip lip suction going compared to other bottle shapes. One small thing I don’t like is the screw thread, it works, but you have to be sure you tighten it fully or it will drip at the joint – pretty sure this is down to the screw thread not being multiple compact threads, but this isn’t a deal breaker.
6 years ago we had a brand that had glass bottles (much easier to clean), but no brands seems to make glass feeding bottles anymore. These are the best plastic bottles for sure.
