It instantly stops the tummy time cries for my baby and keeps him entertained for 5-10 minutes, which is a win. The foam sea animals encourage eye tracking and head control.
The mat feels durable, seals well, and was easy to fill and drain. Just make sure you fill it in a large sink as it can be a bit messy. I like that it’s low-tech, simple, and just one part (unlike most baby toys that are a lot of parts you have to keep track of). The mat does take some maintenance to avoid mold but I dont mind it as I like to drain the water anyways after use to avoid my cats poking holes and easy storage.
Highly recommend for parents looking to make tummy time more fun and productive. It’s even a little entertaining for myself to press my hand and watch the creatures move!

My daughter just had my second grandson a few months ago.
He was having a lot of problems with his neck and holding his head up.
He had been doing tummy time on the living room rug. He clearly hated doing it.
Cried a lot.
But then, I bought him this and it really made a difference! He was much more interested in what was going on beneath him, prompting him to lift himself up.
I’m happy to report that now he lifts his head without any more problems.

I love it’s larger than other water mats. The larger surface gives plenty of room to move arms and legs without feeling cramped, which makes it more comfortable and engaging. It instantly stops the tummy time cries for my baby and keeps him entertained for 5-10 minutes, which is a win. The foam sea animals encourage eye tracking and head control.
The mat feels durable, seals well, and was easy to fill and drain. Just make sure you fill it in a large sink as it can be a bit messy. I like that it’s low-tech, simple, and just one part (unlike most baby toys that are a lot of parts you have to keep track of). The mat does take some maintenance to avoid mold but I dont mind it as I like to drain the water anyways after use to avoid my cats poking holes and easy storage.
Highly recommend for parents looking to make tummy time more fun and productive. It’s even a little entertaining for myself to press my hand and watch the creatures move!

The quality is spot on. Very easy to set up. I’ve had this for a couple months and the air retention is still very good. Love the colors and very light weight. My baby loves the water and the little sea creatures. It does recommend to put a little bit of vinegar with the water to prevent mold and to switch it out every now every now and then and honestly I still have yet to dump the water and still no mold so I would definitely recommend to put vinegar in. Great value for your money, I would recommend food baby and tummy time !

I love how portable this is to bring grandmas or aunties house. It keeps my baby busy and occupied during tummy time with all of its colors and the moving cut outs inside. There is a warning to drain and replace water twice a week or it will get moldy, but that is common sense. Wash the inside with some water and baby soap and you’re golden.

The only negative thing I could say about this which isn’t even really bad to begin with is when you are filling it with water, air easily gets in then it is hard to get the air out. That isn’t a problem at all but I just wanted to let everyone know.

I love how portable this is to bring grandmas or aunties house. It keeps my baby busy and occupied during tummy time with all of its colors and the moving cut outs inside. There is a warning to drain and replace water twice a week or it will get moldy, but that is common sense. Wash the inside with some water and baby soap and you’re golden.

I think this mat is fun for a little while, but having to empty the water every 2 days can be impossible with a baby. I know it doesn’t seem like a big deal, but when you’re dealing with a baby on top of other things that take priority, remembering and having to take water out of a toy every 2 days so it won’t grow mold, is annoying. Not to mention, it still has a little bit of water left even after emptying, so there is still a potential for mold growth.
I do think it’s a fun cute toy for baby, but it’s only fun for a little while. And I think there are other interactive toys that are less time consuming on the cleaning front.

My infant didnt care for this tummy time floor mat. It inflated nicely, and I’d fill it with warm water each time, but it was small and he didn’t really care to play with it. The colors were vibrant and fun to watch the toy fish, other than that I wouldn’t suggest or buy again.

Love, love, love… it states it doesn’t smell but like all platic things it smells, but the smell goes away little by little. Great motor skills product, great for tummy time. You can also add water into the air hole we did that.

Great toy to have for toddler. Easy to unpack but inflation and filling with water was a challenge. A small air pump could become an addition. Overall great value for money. Loved the animal feature. A little larger, maybe 2-3 more inches on each side would be good.

This is part of the gift for my nephew who is 4 months old, much larger than that as far as weight and height is concerned. He absolutely loves this and was super entertained by the fish that he was trying to eat lol through the plastic. If you have a larger baby this would be my only concern as he fit inside but one move in either direction and he would be off the product. That would be my only concern. I was assuming for tummy time that it would be a little larger than it was as it is in the picture so I don’t know how big that baby was, but it certainly wasn’t as big as I was expecting. That was the only downfall but the product itself is fantastic.

My baby boy has just turned 3 months old and STILL hated tummy time. None of my kids previously had ever had so much disdain for tummy time as he does. He’s a lap baby, pure and simple. I’ve tried everything and more and was willing to spend whatever it took to find something that would engage him and encourage longer bouts of tummy time. This did it for him! The only downside is that he tries so hard to eat the toys inside the mat that he gets frustrated and starts crying! Luckily, this only happens after he starts getting bored with looking around.
It gets/stays cold if you leave the water in it, which I think will be nice during the summer heat. But I cover half of it with a blanket when he lays on it for now. As others have suggested, I plan to change the water weekly to prevent any gunk build up. It DOES smell when opened, but I would not say it has a “chemical” smell… it smells like any plastic blow up toy you’ve encountered your entire life. I mean, it’s the same smell as the beach balls my mom bought for us in the 80s, or the floaties she got my baby sister in the 90s! The smell eventually goes away.
Honestly, I feel this mat will last longer than just tummy time stages. It’s an amazing sensory toy and it feels like it’s built well. As long as it survives the gumming it takes every day, it’ll probably end up in the play yard.
