  1. Olivia Griffith

Loved this gown for my first childs birth. I was on the fence about getting this or just using a hospital gown but I felt so much better with this on. I’m 5′ 4″ and at the time weighed 240 so I wasn’t sure how comfo I’d be in a hospital gown. This gown fit perfectly, was comfortable, and easy for the nurses to work around. I felt so much better being in my own clothes and had an easy time nursing my baby right after he was born because of this gown. If I have another baby I’ll definitely be buying more of these.

  2. Babyz Corner Customer

Must have for the hospital. It was so comfortable and smooth on my skin. I loved the pockets it had. It was so easy to use and get my epidural in. I gave birth in it and was able to do skin to skin right away with the snaps in the front. I loved this.

  3. Milagro

I highly recommend getting this for your birth! It’s so soft and comfy, better than the itchy hospital gowns. It has buttons at the top for easy access to skin-to-skin and breastfeeding. There are buttons in the back for easy access for the doctors. I will wear this for all of my births.

Im 5, 6 and a a bigger girl so mine was a little above my knees but it was still covering and comfy

Must have for the hospital. It was so comfortable and smooth on my skin. I loved the pockets it had. It was so easy to use and get my epidural in. I gave birth in it and was able to do skin to skin right away with the snaps in the front. I loved this.

  5. heather

As advertised. Pretty simple gown with snaps to breastfeed or skin to skin. I didn’t get to use it for labor as I went early and it hadn’t been delivered yet, but I did get to use it later for skin to skin and breastfeeding. Material is soft and stretchy, it is oversized but in this case that’s the point, it fit well for what we were using it for. I’m 5’8” and at the time was about 160 lbs. It really could be a one size fits all product.

  6. MOLLY O’DAY

This was the best decision I made for my delivery. I’m a big girl and was worried about the fit when I ordered, but no need to worry. It extremely stretchy and very soft. It kept me warm but not hot. The color allows you to get all kinds of things on it but it doesn’t stain. I’ve washed it twice now and it’s wrinkle resistant. Very light weight and 110% better then those pesky hospital gowns. The snaps make skin to skin and breast feeding a breeze and it’s a nice night gown for at home too. My husband even likes the way it looks on me 😆

  7. Jordyn

I absolutely loved this gown for delivery! It was the perfect length and material! It was a perfect dark grey color which was nice so you weren’t worried about it showing everything! Super easy to use and made delivery easy! The only part that wasn’t my favorite was the fact that my nurses had to undo all my IV lines in order for my to slip my arms out. The buttons don’t go all the way down the sleeves but it wasn’t bad at all! Perfect for breastfeeding afterwards and wearing at home for recovery! Super comfy and soft! I was able to get an epidural just fine with it and the nurses were able to do everything they needed to! 100% recommend to anyone wanting to wear their own gown!

  8. Karen Guevara

This was an essential for me when i went into labor. Even the midwives were impressed with it.

  9. Faith

The perfect labor and delivery gown. Super comfortable, soft, stretchy, and easy to put on and was great during the 40 hrs i had to have it on. Recommend this for all expecting moms.

  10. Kat F

The quality is so good. The material is so soft and stretchy. Easy to wear and function. Giving 4 stars though because I was literally drowning in it, so I do wish they had more than just one size fits all. And I’d much prefer another color or cute pattern rather than the gray color. Really flowy, doesn’t make you too hot. And although the quality is great, I think it’s priced a little high. It did its job though and will use it again! So much more comfortable and modest than hospital gowns

  11. Savonne

I just recently delivered my 3rd baby & 100% rec any soon to be mama’s get this and wear instead of the hospital gowns. It has a fully button up back, button up near breast area for easy breastfeeding, POCKETS, plus it’s really soft

  12. TJ

At first my wife wasn’t fully accepting why I got the Frida Mom Delivery kit, even I wondered if it was going to be a luxury item that’s nice to have, but not truly essential, after all the hospital would and did provide everything needed. A few hours into being admitted, and preparing for induction, I opened the kit and asked the nurse if it was okay to try the gown, she immediately perked up “the Frida Mom gown, oh of course!”. My wife immediately saw the difference between the hospital gown and this, and considering she ended up being in it for 2-3 days, she felt it was money well spent. In fact, after delivery she asked me to get another one, which almost 2 weeks later she is literally wearing as I type. She loves the material, and the places where you can open things up, her only complaints are it being one size, ideally for her, she’d like one that is smaller and shorter.

  13. Valerie Espino

I’m so glad I brought my own gown to the hospital instead of using a standard gown that they provide. This gown was soft, stretchy and way more comfortable than what the hospital provided. I love the design of the buttons that’s instant for the skin-to-skin contact. If you’re preparing your hospital bag, this is definitely a must have !!!
    Flow:
It’s not tight which is something you don’t want when in labor, this labor and delivery gown is very flowy.
    Warmth:
In comparison to the hospital gown, this one will keep you warm because it has that blanket feeling.

  14. Trinity

I purchased this with the intentions of using during labor but instead I wore a hospital gown since everything starting happening fast and I wasn’t thinking about it. I did wear after in the hospital and I was in love! I ended up being happy I saved it for after because it’s so comfortable!!! The fabric is extremely soft and stretchy. It made my stay much more comfortable and easier. The dark color is also a must iykyk. Size wise it was HUGE on me but that was an added benefit for me for comfort until it came to unbuttoning to breastfed it would slip off my shoulders. Overall I’m very happy with my purchase and I would recommend

  15. Vanja Radonjic Stokic

It’s soft and comfy but the way of closing the buttons could be better… It’s to have for this material and pull all the material to one side

  16. Madison S.

This nursing gown is perfect for any nursing mother. The quality is soft and durable. Also, the pockets are a great addition to the comfortability of the gown. The color is makes it easy to clean on a normal cycle and does not wrinkle to bad after drying.

  17. Customer

Useful for the hospital but it does have a chemically smell that remains despite many washes.

  18. Andres Blanco

Wish I could’ve actually used this gown at the hospital but I forgot about it! lol I use it postpartum at home now and I love it! It’s so easy to breast feed my baby the buttons just snap right off. It’s perfect as pjs so you don’t have to worry about wearing your breastfeeding bras to bed! It’s super soft and COMFORTABLE it honestly doesn’t look too bad on way more flattering than a hospital gown or big t shirt!

  19. Pooshkah1

I got this Delivery and Nursing Gown made by Fridababy for my daughter who is expecting our first grandson. It’s the perfect gown for both delivery and postpartum. it’s super soft t-shirt material that’s cool and comfortable. The snaps are easy to open and close making changing clothes or breastfeeding easy. There are pockets for those important items such as your phone. I recommend this gown for anyone who wants their own personal stylish touch during delivery. Just because your in a hospital doesn’t mean you have to dress like your in one.

  20. Angela

This is so soft and comfortable to wear. I didn’t get to labor in it but I have been wearing it post partum as a night gown, makes nursing, skin to skin and pumping easy

  21. Arianne

I loved having this in the hospital! It was so comfortable and roomy. The gown is also so soft and had easy access for the epidural. It was definitely worth the money!

  22. Helen Manor

I had a planned C-section June 5th of this year and I remember with my sons C-section/hospital stay I was uncomfortable in the baggy over sized gowns (I’m a plus size girl size 18+) I know I wanted to have more comfortable clothes during this birth. This gown not only is super soft but very lightweight. It fit well not baggy not tight. The snaps are easy to use one handed and helped me feel comfortable with so many people coming in and out of the room. It is comfortable and easy to use I still wear it to bed to make night time feeding easier. Loved so much bought my niece a gown for her upcoming delivery.

  23. Amanda Tan

This gown is way too huge and long!!! I’m 158cm tall and weighs 48kg before pregnant. Now at 36 weeks pregnant, I’m 59kg.I’m literally swimming in this gown. It’s such a waste because the material is comfy, but I look hideous in it. Am putting up to sell 2nd hand, which I’m regretting big time as I should have refunded!!! Why didn’t I?!

  24. Bere M.

Es muy cómoda, tanto para el día del parto como para después (lactancia), compré tres y ha sido una excelente compra.

  25. K_LaMar

Only reason it’s not 5 stars is because I do think it’s kinda pricey for what it is. It looks just like the pictures, the fabric isn’t super soft but it’s comfortable, it’s a little big and a little heavy. It covers everything when you have it all the way buttoned up. It was pretty easy to open and very nice for skin to skin. I didn’t actually deliver in it, but I wore it after my first shower for the rest of my hospital visit and enjoyed it. Even wore it at home a few times in the couple weeks after giving birth!

  26. Ana

It fits just right. I’m a size 18-20(AU) after becoming pregnant and this fits perfectly. The material is so comfortable and definitely the access to the back for epidural and for breastfeeding was handy. Need to buy another one!

  27. Mama Nash

As many of the reviews state, this sucker is HUGE! I bought this for my twin labour and I was enormous. Like Humpty Dumpty enormous. Still, this gown fit very loosely in the best possible way and was incredibly soft. Loved the pockets and the snaps to do skin-to-skin, breastfeed, and for an epidural port. You can’t feel the snaps at all. This was pricey but worth it for me.

  28. Chrisssliaaa

I wanted a maternity gown for the hospital because I heard how uncomfortable and scratchy the materials of the hospital provided gowns were. I felt a little bougie getting this one but I wanted to be comfortable and I didn’t regret getting it at all. It was so comfortable to be in during my entire labour. It’s flowy and is so buttery soft. The colour isn’t fun or anything but it serves a good purpose. It wasn’t see through at all even though it’s a little thin and the snaps open up a so much you can have your whole chest open for easy skin to skin and nursing right when baby is born.
I even continued to use mine after we went home. It was so hard wearing trousers with all the heavy pads and adult diapers and cooling pads with tucks and what not. The gown removed having to deal with putting trousers on and taking them off. It was also so easy to just wake up and pull front down so baby could nurse and I’d just snap them back up with my eyes closed once she was done. I still have this hanging in my closet and will definitely be using it for my next baby. The material didn’t stain at all from my baby’s birth so I won’t need to get a new one.
It seems like a silly expense but it’s so worth it.

I labored through a 21 hour induction in this at 41 weeks and I am normally a 2X so this really can fit a lot of different body types. It was soooo comfortable and breathable and I loved that it buttoned in the back to make me feel more covered and secure. It did have a slight chemical smell to the fabric even after washing but I tossed it in the trash once I was able to get a shower. I highly recommend this!

  30. Bibiana C Ramirez

No es muy resistente pero funcionó para los días que estuve en el hospital bastante bien.

  31. Natalie Gray

I initially bought myself a very expensive “hospital outfit pack” from Hatch Maternity because I wanted great quality and a comfy outfit for my first birth. I realized as the date approached that I should probably have something less expensive to change into during the messy bits and in case anything happened to my primary outfit during the experience. For $30, this is perfect! I also love how it can be machine washed and dried.

I was going for a natural home birth, so the back slit did not come in handy for me. The nursing snaps in the front, however, are so wonderful!

My only complaint about this is that it is one-size. For smaller mothers such as myself, (5’5″ and 130 lbs when not pregnant), this gown is HUGE. It came down way past my knees. It did fit OK while I was pregnant, but that only applied to me for a few hours. After the birth, I wanted to wear this to sleep and nurse. I was absolutely swimming in it, which can be a bit uncomfortable when you want something a tad more snug/form fitting. It basically wears like a huge sack if you aren’t pregnant.
