I recently purchased a small bottle of Bio Oil as I hit the 20-week mark in my pregnancy and started noticing stretch marks. A coworker recommended it, sharing that his sister had incredible results using it. Within just two weeks, I’ve already begun to see significant improvements. The redness in my stretch marks has started to fade, my skin feels much less tight, and, impressively, no new stretch marks have formed. I was initially hesitant to try Bio Oil because I had been using Palmer’s coconut oil lotion, which had good reviews but wasn’t working for me.
I’ve never been a big fan of using oils since I usually find them sticky, heavy, and generally uncomfortable, especially under clothing. However, Bio Oil has completely changed my perspective. I love Bio Oil and I’ve used it in the past before I bought it here on Amazon. Honestly I can’t say if it’s a miraculous product because I don’t use it everyday. I use it maybe 3 or 4 times a week and use just regular moisturiser on the other days. But as a body oil, I promise this is an amazing product and worth a try.
If they made a Bio Oil perfume I’d buy it. The scent is delicious and I find it extremely relaxing, so I use it at night after my shower or bath. But don’t worry, the fragrance is not overpowering or very intense.
It doesn’t feel greasy on my skin and when I get up in the morning my body still feels soft and moisturised. Some people say they feel greasy with Bio OIl and the only explanation I have to that is that they’re probably using a little too much. Try using a little less next time and just make sure you spread it well.
My old scretch marks don’t look different, but my skin is well moisturised so they feel less noticeable when I touch them.
Dr Dray (if you love skincare youtubers you know who I’m talking about) doesn’t like Bio Oil because of the plant extracts and scent, but I have to admit I love it lol. The only negative is the price: I find it a bit pricy, but I don’t use a lot so it lasts me a long time. I have never used on my face, but on the body it’s great. It’s one of those products I see myself repurchasing over and over in the future.

I am 34 weeks pregnant and have stretch marks everywhere. Cocoa cream wasn’t helping dimish the marks. One week of Bio Oil, and my bright marks are fading. I like how it absorbs, smells very pleasant, and leaves me feeling soft.
I have only found 1 thing I didn’t like, which is that it is not meant for sensitive faces like mine. The rest of the body though, works great!

The smell is a very soft smell and it is long lasting. The skin will be soft. For the best results you have to stay consistent. A little goes a long way

Have been using the throughout the pregnancy and postpartum. I still have a lot of stretch marks, but they are very close to the skin color, so you won’t notice unless you look close. This also seems to help relieve itchiness around my c-section area which is a big plus for me.

I have had bad stretch marks from 4 pregnancies.. love my tiger stripes from my kids but I have always been self Conscious about my tummy and won’t show it.. I figured I would try this out why not? And I literally have only been using it for 24 hours and I already see improvement on my stretch marks.. also used it on my face because I have melmasa and my skin was softened and hyper pigmentation was almost even after just over night use.. apparently this is exactly what my skin has needed. I’m super happy with my purchase and highly recommend! Oil went on and does f feel greasy it absorbs immediately and after over night my skin felt hydrated and smooth. I was apprehensive about trying bio oil bc I was worried about it leaving a greasy residue. It absorbed very well, it is oil so it will take around 20 minutes to really absorb but it won’t leave grease marks on clothes so you can put it on and still roll out. I have very dry legs with red spots I started using this and oh my word does it change the game, my legs are smooth, no red spots and it tightens skin. I lost weight and have a little loose skin on my stomach and it tightened it up first use. Smells good too.
