This is the second time I order this monitor, because I accidentally broke the first one. I looked for other options but this has been the best. I tried hybrid cameras but they’re so unreliable, I was hesitant when first buying this since it’s Bluetooth only but it’s been perfect. The connection is strong, no buffering. I can sleep soundly while my baby is in his own room knowing I will hear him and can see him whenever he wakes up for a feed. Whenever I’m out and he’s being watched by the nanny, she can go all the way outdoors and the connection would still be solid. The only thing I prefer would be for the volume to be through buttons on the side instead of being on the screen only. Whenever my baby wakes up I reduce the volume immediately to avoid waking up my husband and it would be easier to do that with physical buttons.

I purchased a second HelloBaby monitor (different model) that was cheaper & smaller to make it easier to take along on travel or family visits; It gets the job done (still have it and is working great). Unfortunately, my 2023 monitor broke a few days ago. It’s been dropped quite a bit, so it had nothing to do with the product. It’s been surprisingly very durable as there were times I thought it for sure had broken. Tiny hands are quick and powerful! But this last time, the monitor finally gave out. So of course, I planned to purchase another monitor set because you can connect up to 4 cameras to it and my 2023 camera worked just fine. Upon receiving it, the connection fails with my old camera. But the connection with the new monitor and new camera was a piece of cake. I contacted HelloBaby customer service to get assistance with the connection and I received a VERY quick response. That was my first surprise. But not only that, upon discussing my issue, they sent me a whole new camera because my 2023 camera was no longer compatible as there was an update to the 2025 cameras! Talk about amazing customer service! The entire time, they were friendly, understanding, and provided quick responses. This is probably my 2nd review ever, but my first POSITIVE review because how could I possibly not mention what a breeze this company made it to solve my issue. And from what I see, my review is one of many that rave about their customer service. I can also say, the upgrades have been phenomenal. The screen appears to be clearer (I had 0 complaints before so this is fantastic) and the battery life lasts so much longer. I also love the date and time stamp that automatically appears on the screen—as busy parents, days are a blur and our eyes are often on the monitors while trying to get things done, beats having to hunt down a phone because those wind up getting lost while doing a million things while baby naps! I was a happy customer before, but after this AMAZING Customer Service experience, I am even more thrilled about their products. Absolutely my favorite! No wifi needed. The camera you plug in but the screen is perfect size and you can recharge. The battery last a while. Brightness is perfect and you can dim if you want. Its functionality is so easy I can move room to room and bring when we travel to friends and family house so when baby goes down I can monitor her with no problem. It has a temp setting so it will alarm if room is too warm. Definitely worth the price and quality is great!

It works pretty well for what it does. The temperature gauge is wonky, though, so we had to buy a separate temp reader for the room instead. Picture quality is decent but not amazing — it isn’t as crisp as I’d hoped, and movement has a slight delay. Sound quality is okay. You can talk to your baby through it, but the output sounds a little bit robotic.
All in all, though, it’s done its job for us.

Easy to set up. No wi-fi needed. Just plug it in and it’s ready to go. I did buy the Hello Baby mount. We use this to watch our puppy in her crate. The battery to monitor easily lasts through the night if you need to take the monitor to a different room. Picture is clear. I love that you can move the camera from the monitor since the puppy moves around the crate. It is nice that there are built in lullabies that you can play. Customer service is awesome!! Highly recommend this product

This camera and monitor set is good, easy to use and the visibility is clear. But I will say it has been hard to get the right combination. When I purchased it, I only needed one camera but eventually realized I needed a second one, and Babyz Corner doesn’t sell one standalone camera so I had to go to the sellers website. Then, the monitor that I bought doesn’t turn into a split screen even though it can handle up to 4 cameras. So had I realized this in the beginning, I would have just purchased the split screen with 2 cameras bundle.

This baby monitor is everything we needed. Our situation requires us to use this for our elderly grandma who has severe dementia, and it works like a charm!
PROS:
The Screen on the Monitor is very wide, and has 2 zoom options. And the picture quality is crystal clear! It’s not grainy like other monitors!
During the night, the screen switches to Nighttime mode, which is basically night vision which is awesome!
The audio output is also clear. You can talk both ways, to the camera and through the monitor, and both sides are clear, no static sounds!
The range goes a long ways. As long as you don’t like in a steel building, the connection goes all over our house, and even outside!
CONS:
My ONLY wish is that the camera could spin a complete 360. Sometimes I need to be able to follow her throughout the room, and the camera will reach a limit and stop spinning.

I have been using the Hellobaby monitor nightly for 3 months without a single issue! I have an expensive wifi-connected monitor with all the bells and whistles but this Hellobaby No WiFi 5” monitor is the one I trust to work every single night. The expensive wifi monitor has connectivity issues and doesn’t show me the camera feed immediately when I want to see it. I used a previous model from Hellobaby (also non-wifi) for a couple of years and it worked great before the battery on the monitor wouldn’t last through the night so I upgraded to this model which has way better battery life, a bigger screen, and more range with the flip up antenna. This is an absolute MUST for any parent who wants hassle-free monitoring of their child without breaking the bank to do so.
Setup is super simple: unbox everything, charge the monitor, plug in the camera and then just go into settings and configure to your liking…BOOM, done! You’re ready to keep an eye on your little one. The zoom/pan/tilt is very helpful if my son is somewhere else in his bedroom, I can move the camera via the monitor controls to get a better view of his room. I haven’t had a single connection issue, it’s been solid no matter where I’m at in my house, even if I’m outside!
The two-way talk feature works great as well. Sometimes I need to tell my little guy something and he’s able to hear me clearly which saves me a trip upstairs for something as simple as “please get back in your bed.” I like that the Eco Mode can be set for different levels whether you want it to activate at the slightest noise or if it requires a little louder noise. The only thing I had to change was to put a dimming strip over the green LED on the monitor because when it’s on my nightstand in my completely dark room, it was too bright but that’s an easy fix and I still highly recommend this monitor for anyone who wants peace of mind for keeping an eye (and ear) on their little one!

We bought an attachment that clamps on to the side of the crib to have a closer view of baby. The screen is a great size and has many setting options. Picture quality is very good. I recently bought the newest version of the hello baby monitor. My older one that I got for my baby shower the monitor stopped working but the camera still worked. I loved the old version but was excited for the new version and had planned on keeping the old camera to connect with the new one. However I couldn’t connect it to the new monitor so I reached out to customer service for help. They replied in less than 24 hours. I gave them all of my information and they informed me the old camera is. Different version as well and will not connect with the new model monitor. The old camera started to have some issues where it would occasionally lose connection to the monitor and sometimes would not turn left and right. Which wasn’t as issue because I had it positioned where I could see the whole crib. But since I had these issues customer service graciously sent me ANOTHER new model monitor AND camera. They were extremely kind and responsive in a timely manner. The new model is such an upgrade! I loved the first one and I love this one even better! I can walk around my yard and do yard work and both the old and new monitor stays connected. I also have a 3000sq ft home and can go anywhere and still be connected. The picture is great, great quality in both day and night mode. It holds battery very well and I love that it has an eco mode where you can decide if you want it to turn on for the slightest of sounds or for loud sounds only and then after a few moments of silence it goes back off to eco mode. This saved me also being a new mom and keeping me from running in there anytime my baby made a noise while he was asleep. I’ve recommended this camera to all my friends. I also love that it’s not connected to the WiFi so only I can see it in the monitor and if for some reason the WiFi went out I could still use the monitor. I also love that if the camera disconnects for whatever reason it will beep to let you know. Seeing as my house is on the larger side and my baby sleeps on the other side than me this has come in handy a few times when we lost power at night and woke me up to let me know I need to pay more attention while I’m sleeping. Lon story short. Get the camera and monitor. They are amazing and the customer service is as well! Also it doesn’t cost an arm and a leg and still gives me a piece of mind behind able to check in my son.

I’ve used a bunch of monitors. This is our 3rd monitor we’ve had for our kids. Our 1st monitor quit on us, my daughter hid the 2nd monitor for 3 months, so we ordered the Hello Baby one. I’ve also used other monitors as a nanny, baby sitter and watching my neices and nephews. This is by far my favorite.The settings setup I wish had the volume button on the field instead of in the menu, but that is a minor inconvenience at most. I also wish it was in color at night, but again, a minor inconvenience based on preference.The sound is great, the camera movement is smooth and easy to adjust by small increments, and the range of movement is phenomenal. We got a replacement camera to put in our nursery and it came with the gear to attach it to the wall which was much appreciated. The plastic piece that holds it to the wall is awesome – much better than just hanging on a screw like our old monitors. The fit is tight and not easy to jiggle, even when the cord is tugged. I will say the cord is a little shorter than I would have liked it to be, but that is only because of the frustrating placement of the plugs in our nursery. The image is clear and easy to make out even at night.The pairing for a second camera is incredibly simple and straightforward. The distance it reaches between monitor screen and camera is incredible and I can go across our circle to our neighbors across the street and with the antenna up, in their doorway, I can still see without the image cutting out with the camera at the back of the house.I have bought very little from Hello Baby because I am pretty brand loyal and I started with another brand for our daughter and just stayed with them. But I am definitely going to be buying more for the next baby from Hello Baby. Their customer service was amazing and very responsive. When I let them know I was having trouble finding the right replacement camera, they went on Babyz Corner themselves, found me the right one, emailed me the link, a discount code and handled the shipping since I am nearing my due date. It was supposed to be here in another week or so according to the estimate. It was a huge stressor off of us. Great company, great customer service, and awesome product. I gave 5 stars with the small cons because others may not like those “downsides”, but they are not a big deal for us. I hope this helped anyone looking for details to make a decision. I have already recommended this to other friends multiple times.

Honestly, this monitor is incredible. We had the infant optics which broke after about a year, and I didn’t want to spend that much again. This monitor is not only less than half the price, it is SO much better.
The light on the camera itself is so much dimmer which was one of my gripes with infant optics, I felt like the little green light on that camera was so bright that it kept my baby awake longer.
The screen on this monitor is so nice and big and it holds a charge for as long as I need it to.
With the infant optics we would constantly get a “signal lost” message, we have never had any issue with that with this monitor.
It also was incredibly easy to set up; literally you just plug it in and that’s it, I did not need to even look at the manual.
I could not be happier with this monitor, I wish I had gotten it from the start. Less money does not mean lesser quality. So unbelievably happy with this!

La cámara y monitor, se ven de una calidad normal, la visión nocturna y las funciones de sonido, movimiento de la cámara, temperatura y calidad de imagen son normales, el detalle de funcionalidad que NO me gustó y es por lo cual decidi comprar una camara, es que la camara no es inalámbrica, tiene que estar conectada el 100% del tiempo, lo que es re-cargable es solo el monitor. Por esta razón no me funcionó para lo que yo necesitaba de una cámara.

La cámara funciona muy bien y el monitor también. No dura mucho la pila del monitor pero tampoco es que tenga que estar conectado siempre. La imagen es clara. Lo único mejorable es que la imagen está muy de cerca, hay que alejar un poco la cámara para tener una visión más amplia.
