    These Aqua Art books are awesome! It allows the children to be creative and color without the mess of markers and crayons. We also love that the marker or paint brush just uses water, so there are no worries for toxic ingredients. We love that the book is reusable, as the paper dries the color vanishes. Unlike other mess-free coloring options where you have to continue to buy paper this book lasts and can be re-used over and over for endless fun. We also enjoy the many design options available and the licensed characters. These make perfect stocking stuffers and are a must buy for the kiddos! Overall a great buy!     My 3-year-old daughter loves this; however, I wish the colors didn’t fade so quickly. She colors a bit slowly, because she likes to take her time coloring in the lines, and by the time she has finished Bluey’s tail to move onto the rest of the body, the tail starts fading back to white, making her need to redo it, and never allowing her to color the whole picture at once. I also feel there is not enough water on the brush despite the bottle being full; the brush tip is only slightly damp, making the process of color showing up on the brushed area of the picture take longer than it should.

    That being said, my daughter doesn’t seem to mind too much or get too frustrated about needing to redo parts of the picture she’s already colored, and this absolutely keeps her occupied for extended periods of time. She never seems to get bored with coloring the same photos over again, and I never have to worry about marker or paint getting anywhere. This is such a fun coloring activity for her and a great thing to bring in the car on a road trip, plane ride, or anywhere else you might need a mess-free distraction.

    I mostly bought it because it was Bluey, was a great price, and was an item that we could easily pack in the diaper bag to occupy our toddler while we’re out and about and he needs occupying.

    Our toddler plays with this item *everyday*. Multiple times a day. He will grab it and we will draw with him (we also bought the Bluey water color mat so we have extra water markers to use with him). He will also grab it and play with it by himself for long periods of time.

    I’ve even found myself using it alone lol. It’s stress relieving okay?! Low maintenance and stress relieving lol.

    I’m considering buying another one in a different character we love it so much. Or just buying a back up/extra of this one.

  21. They’re actually really nice and the size is correct I’m a size 8.5 women wide feet and got an 8-9 I belive and they were actually perfect. And they’re the same color as shown on listing. I was worried they’d be darker but they’re not –

    My 2 year old boy loves these. He can’t make a mess and they are easy to bring. My only complaint is that I wish the paint brush had a hook to connect it to the book once you take off the plastic container that it comes in. The drying time is long enough that he can paint the picture without it disappearing too quickly but doesn’t take too long that he can’t reuse it fairly soon.

    3 year old boy having a blast and less mess, he doesn’t really enjoy Bluey but loves the water pen, he usually gets bored quickly with crayons and markers but with this he doesn’t and will sit for 20+ minutes at a time every time giving us a much needed break from a wild boy. Highly recommend have some paper towels on hand just because water does go onto surfaces from the book but still better than dealing with a marker.

My only complaint is that I wish the paint brush had a hook to connect it to the book once you take off the plastic container that it comes in. The drying time is long enough that he can paint the picture without it disappearing too quickly but doesn’t take too long that he can’t reuse it fairly soon.

They asked to use them in the car. These little painting books kept them quiet and busy for 45 minutes which is a big help on a long car ride. At one point my daughter in law thought the 2 year old had fallen asleep but he was still busy painting. If you are looking, don’t hesitate they are inexpensive enough but well worth it

    This was a fantastic set for our daughter’s first plane ride. Highly recommend. Introduced it on the plane so she was super into it still during the whole flight. This one was lots of vibrant colors, more so than the Bluey set even though she really likes Bluey, this one was her fave. Zero need to clean anything so it was perfect for a plane and easy to just store in our backpack. It was a great activity for our 22 month old and kept her busy for a long time. It was fun for her to see the colors appear as if she was really painting, which she loves to paint so it was a great fit! Can use each page over and over again as the water dries by the end of reaching the end of the booklet and she can start again if wanted.

    My granddaughter is 3 and loved painting in this BLUEY magic painting book. You just fill the magic pen up with tap water and it goes into the brush when it is turned over. But don’t worry thee is no leakage. You “paint” with the water and certain areas turn colors. There is no mess and nothing to clean up. By the time they turn the page the “paiint” has dried and you can redo the same page or go on to the next. My only little disappointment was there were only 4 pages to this book. But my granddaughter didn’t seem to be annoyed by it because she would just turn it over and start again. The activity level for a 2 to 7 yr old I feel is suffient and the value for the money was ok. I think this book will last even though you are putting water on it it seems to be treated with some kind of coating that won;’t allow it to get warped.     I was skeptical about these. I don’t know why I’ve never bought these. These are so perfect for going out to dinner and packing in a bag. I just recently purchased another one for my two-year-old stocking. You really can paint with water in the picture really will go back to normal so that you can use it again and again and again very impressed.     This was a fantastic set for our daughter’s first plane ride. Highly recommend. Introduced it on the plane so she was super into it still during the whole flight. This one was lots of vibrant colors, more so than the Bluey set even though she really likes Bluey, this one was her fave. Zero need to clean anything so it was perfect for a plane and easy to just store in our backpack. It was a great activity for our 22 month old and kept her busy for a long time.     We loved this to take on the go for my toddler. She is obsessed with Bluey so she gets so excited when we pull this out. We keep this in our diaper bag to use at restaurants or in the car. I appreciate that it is just water because she would try to suck on the markers that only work on certain paper so this is a better solution for us. The only thing is you sometime need to leave it open so the pages dry completely to use the next time so the color goes away.

    Bluey fans-this is for you! These water pen books are a lifesaver for long trips, appointments with small children, or just for a fun less messy activity with kids. My kids have loved these from younger ages 18 months, to 10 years old. If you have younger kids who like to put things in their mouth this may not be the best option for you, but it is an easy project that can be used over and over again. When the pictures are “painted” with water vivid colors appear. The books are durable and do not bend easily. Make sure to empty out the water in the pen well when finished so it does not mold!

    I purchased this for my 2.5 year old to help promote her marker/pencil grasp as well as her visual motor skills. The durability has been overall good but after 3-4 months of frequent use I will say the pages are starting to separate. The painting quality with the brush is also okay but I hope a new brush model is designed because with little ones that like to press hard it causes the bristles of the brush to flare and separate which then makes it harder to get the water out for “painting” the picture resulting in need for increased effort and further damage to the brush. Overall it was great value for money as my little one has used it a lot, so great activity. The size is also good for her age.
