This mat is great for the play pen and makes a huge difference for the baby to have the cushion so I don’t worry so much if he falls over. It is a nice color palet and cute pictures on it that are not overwhelming. I purchased the 71×59 inch size and it is almost a perfect fit only a little longer than the bottom of the play pen maybe an inch or less. I didn’t notice any smell at all. The mat is a bit large for my washing machine so if I need to wash it I will just take it to the laundry mat or dry cleaners for washing otherwise i will just spot clean as necessary no problem at all. I am happy with this purchase.

This is a soft, pretty, non skid play mat. While it is washable, it must be air dried because the backing starts to come off in the dryer. I don’t have time to wash and air dry as often as my twins drool and spit up on it. I have a similar mat of a different brand which I prefer.

Absolutely love this, Matt, it’s got rubber dots on the back to prevent sliding. Very thick and cushioning, fits perfectly. Washes very well! Good quality, sewn well. So far, it’s held up to four washings in its short existence here.

I love this mat! It’s huge and so affordable. It’s not that thick, but it’s padded enough for comfortable play for me and baby. I ended up buying a second smaller one for my dogs, because they kept laying on this one. Works for a nice comfy spot for dogs to lay too, my dogs love it! I have not washed mine yet, so can not comment on that.

We have plank flooring and this item is not supportive/cushiony enough for a baby to be crawling and rolling around. I imagine if your home has carpet this would work perfectly. Love the soft fabric, easy to machine wash and tumble dry low.

I love this mat for my playpen but it would also be great for tummy time or nap time! Some reviewer’s complain about the thickness, but you need to remember that for a child’s safety it can’t be too thick. I think that this is softer than a pack-and-play and plenty soft for lining a playpen. I think it is very cute, affordable, and versatile. I looked at others, and this one blows them out of the water no comparison it was easy for me to wash, and the back of it is durable enough that I use it outside all the time I highly recommend this over others.

This may fit pretty well in a 4ftx4ft playpen. The playpen is on hardwood and doesn’t offer as much padding as I hoped, but it’s held up well!

I bought this to place inside a new small playpen and not only is it nice looking, but also comfortable and doesn’t slip around inside the playpen. The bottom perfectly grips the playpen material, so it stays in place no matter how much baby moves around. This was not the case for a bigger playpen I purchased for our living room that came with a mat that slips around too much and doesn’t have as much cushion. This one is thick. I will purchase this same mat in a bigger size for the bigger playpen since I am so satisfied with the quality of it. 10/10.

We bought this mat for the baby to sleep on in hotels while traveling. She usually sleeps on a floor bed. We also use it as a play mat when we are at home. It is firm so it doesn’t bunch up and cause a breathing hazard while sleeping. It’s reasonably thick for a play pen mat. We fold it in half to make it thicker. At home we have a stack of 3 moving blankets under it to make it even softer. We like how it stays in place and doesn’t bunch.
