This is truly the only carrier I’ve needed for the early months. After trying three other babywearing options, this one is easily my favorite. I do like a wrap, but it takes longer to put on and doesn’t give my little one quite the same sense of having their own space.
This carrier adjusts as my baby grows, doesn’t feel too wide for little legs, and is quick and easy to put on. It’s been such a help for soothing my little one through everything from mild fussiness to bigger unsettled moments.
I was hesitant because of the price, but it has been worth every penny. I would have saved money by buying this one from the start. Highly, highly recommend!

I tried a couple others before buying this one for our 6 week old and let me tell you – this blows the others out of the water. It’s lightweight, solid material and geniusly designed for a minimalist look while still being extremely supportive and safe. I have zero doubt in how secure it is. Don’t even bother with other brands. This is the one to get.

This carrier is very easy to use: you only need to adjust it one time to fit you and the next time it’s already set for you – you just need to put it on (takes like 30 sec). My baby doesn’t mind being in it. All other carriers required more work (crossing straps behind your body while holding a baby at the same time is not easy and requires some skills; you also had to adjust them every time) and my baby didn’t like being in them. So I would put it on only to take it off a few minutes later. Also, I like Baby Bjorn much more because the side straps go under the baby and if you make them tighter- they only tighten around your body, not the baby. With other carriers side straps connect to the front pouch and if you want to tighten them, they tighten around baby’s back and that’s why I believe my child was always crying in them. I definitely recommend Baby Bjorn for newborns! I went from rarely using carriers to using them all the time (home and outdoors).

This is my second purchase of this same carrier. I have used it with all four of my little babies because it is so easy to use. It is light weight, can be adjusted very easily for my babies and for myself. I find that it is fairly comfortable to use with babies under six months. After that, this style hurts my back too much (it pulls you forward with the weight of baby and can cause upper to mid-back pain). I do like the ability to face baby in or out. All of my babies have been comfortable in this carrier and nap in it easily.

My bag loves this carrier and always falls asleep in it. The fabric is so soft and easy to wash. Used it when he was a newborn at 8 pounds and still using now with him at 16 pounds. There is no back strap so your back can ache in this if wearing for a while, but honestly love this for those colic days or when we go on walks he falls asleep in it everytime

I wish I had known about the baby Bjorn mini. My son is almost 4 months old and no other carriers compare. I tried a body wrap for baby wearing, was such a hassle and took forever to figure out. We tried one is the original baby Bjorn carriers, my son would cry and cry and hate being put in it. I Read almost all the reviews on this carrier and was super excited when it arrived. It was very easy to put together and when I put my son in it no crying or fussing. The carrier gives that closeness like a wrap but a lot less hassle and more support. My son suffers from projectile vomiting and GI issues. This has been a lifesaver for me as we can’t lay him down too soon after feedings. It feels nice to get things done around the house and have that closeness with him. The only thing I would have to say is it doesn’t give a ton of back support. In general carriers aren’t made for extended periods of time-so it serves its purpose. I got the dark grey jersey style-it’s not as dark as shown in the photo. I was torn between that and the light grey one-glad I went darker fyi. This carrier is good until 12 months or 25lbs it reads-will get good use out of it. If you’re hesitant I would go for it! This would have been AMAZING for him as a newborn, at least the next baby will have! I normally don’t take the time to write reviews but had to for this product.

I love the BabyBjörn carriers. This was perfect for carrying my baby in her first few months. It was so easy to get her in and out. She fussed and hated the Osprey carrier because it was such a battle to get on and tighten it correctly.
