Give your little one a comfortable place for supervised rest and play with the BabyBjörn Bouncer Balance Soft. Designed to grow from the newborn stage into toddlerhood, this versatile 2-in-1 design begins as an ergonomic baby bouncer and later converts into a toddler chair.
The bouncer responds naturally to your baby’s movements without relying on batteries or electrical power. Its supportive seat distributes your baby’s weight while providing appropriate support for the head, neck and back during use.
BabyBjörn Bouncer Balance Soft for Natural Bouncing
The BabyBjörn Bouncer Balance Soft uses your baby’s own movements to create gentle, natural bouncing. As your little one kicks their legs or moves their arms, the seat responds with a soft rocking motion.
No batteries, cords or powered mechanisms are required. This simple approach provides babies with movement while encouraging them to gradually discover how their own movements affect the bouncer.
Ergonomic Head & Back Support
Young babies need appropriate support while their bodies continue developing. The carefully shaped fabric seat is designed to distribute your baby’s weight evenly while providing support for the head and back.
No separate newborn or infant insert is required for the BabyBjörn Bouncer Balance Soft, simplifying setup for parents while keeping the design streamlined.
Adjustable Positions for Rest and Play
Different moments call for different seating angles. The bouncer can be easily adjusted between multiple height positions to accommodate supervised rest and play.
Parents can select the appropriate position according to their baby’s age and activity. When the bouncer isn’t being used, it folds almost completely flat for convenient storage or transportation.
2-in-1 Bouncer and Toddler Chair
One of the standout features of the BabyBjörn Bouncer Balance Soft is its ability to remain useful beyond the early infant stage.
Initially, it functions as a traditional baby bouncer with the restraint system keeping your little one properly positioned. Once your child reaches the appropriate developmental stage and can sit and walk independently, the fabric seat can be reversed to transform the product into a comfortable toddler chair.
This 2-in-1 functionality extends its usefulness as your child grows.
Soft Cotton/Jersey Fabric
This model combines soft cotton and jersey materials to create a cozy surface against baby’s skin. The Dark Gray/Gray combination gives the BabyBjörn Bouncer Balance Soft a modern, understated appearance that fits easily into bedrooms, nurseries and living spaces.
The fabric seat is also removable, making routine care and cleaning more convenient for busy families.
Lightweight & Easy to Move
At approximately 4.6 pounds, the bouncer is lightweight enough to move conveniently between rooms.
Parents can keep their baby nearby while handling everyday activities, then fold the seat flat when additional floor space is needed. Its compact design is also convenient when taking the bouncer along for family visits or trips.
Developed with Pediatricians
BabyBjörn states that the bouncer was developed in collaboration with pediatricians, with particular attention given to supporting a young baby’s head and back.
The BabyBjörn Bouncer Balance Soft is also listed with OEKO-TEX certification in the supplied specifications and is JPMA certified/recommended according to the provided product information.
Why Choose the BabyBjörn Bouncer Balance Soft?
Parents looking for a straightforward bouncer without motors, batteries or excessive electronics may appreciate the simplicity of this design.
The BabyBjörn Bouncer Balance Soft relies entirely on natural movement while providing ergonomic support for younger babies. Adjustable positioning accommodates different activities, while its lightweight frame and flat-folding construction make storage simple.
Most importantly, its convertible design allows the product to transition from a newborn bouncer into a toddler chair, providing longer-lasting usefulness for growing families.

Important Baby Bouncer Safety Information
The BabyBjörn Bouncer Balance Soft is not an infant sleep product. Bouncers should be used for supervised awake time according to the manufacturer’s instructions.
Always use the restraint system while the product is being used in bouncer mode. Place the bouncer on the floor rather than an elevated surface, and discontinue bouncer mode once your child reaches the manufacturer’s developmental or weight limit.
Toddler-chair mode should only be used once your child meets BabyBjörn’s specified developmental requirements.

I was never really one to buy into the hype about Baby Bjorn. However, I can honestly say they do make superior products in general. This particular bouncer is just almost perfect but does have it’s pain points.
For the good – It is lightweight, has good decent safety, has nice 3 levels of elevation, good materials, and seems to fit our baby perfectly.
However, on the downside – you can’t move it with baby sitting in it, it’s awkward to move even without the baby in it because there is no real handhold at the top or anywhere for that matter, the adjustments for elevation is located directly underneath it, meaning you can’t do it with baby sitting in it, and the safety straps are a type where you have to slip it through the latch like a button instead of just click it in, which is difficult with a moving baby.
Overall it’s a great bouncer, but you will need to be ok with some of the difficulties that come with it.

Highly recommend this chair. Baby loves to bounce in it, play with the clip-on toys, or just sit and look out the window for a few minutes. It’s great to have a few minutes at a time with the baby playing independently. My baby isn’t a good napper yet, so this chair gives me a little time to do things around the house while keeping an eye on him. I can easily move it from room to room with one hand while holding him in the other arm.
Get one or two extra covers. Without fail, baby has a blow-out in it daily. Sometimes 3x a day. Amazing, because his cumulative time in it is maybe 90 minutes, max. I’ve tried covering the seat with cloths, but it gets dirty without fail.
Before 3 months it was time to change him to the second position and now it’s like the chair is actually purpose-built to make the baby have a blow-out. Every morning he poos on the first cover within 10 minutes of being set down in it— it’s just part of my routine to change the cover. When we used to only have one cover and it’d be line-drying in the mornings, we didn’t have blow outs elsewhere. It really is a magic chair.
I recommend this chair to all parents. If your baby has trouble pooping, doubly so.

I was on the fence about purchasing this for my second child due to the price. This item is a must have. My son uses it more than a regular vibrating bouncer or swing. He much prefers this bouncer. High quality and well designed. He’s snugly cradled in the fabric and when he moves it bounces by itself. I can bounce it using a finger or toe. If you’re on the fence, do yourself a favor and buy it!

This is my wife’s and my favorite baby item we’ve gotten. It packs down small for travel (however, it’s too long to fit in a large suitcase for air travel) and is easy to clean (just slide the fabric off the frame and wash!). It’s really easy to rock with your foot, which is helpful during dinner time or just watching TV, and rocking him in this almost always calms him. It’s easy to carry and maneuver around the house, and it even has three different angle settings. Our boy loves it, and at this point has even figured out how to rock himself. Sometimes he gets squirmy and only settles once we put him in this rocker. If there’s only one thing we could recommend to a new parent, it would be Moms on Call. But if we could recommend two things, this would be the second 🙂

This is better than a swing in my opinion. None of my kids have really liked the swing, but they’ll bounce in this just fine. It also seems like my kids poop almost every time they sit in this chair, so helps with that too. It washes easily and is good quatlity

We tried a few different things like this for our son when he was a newborn/infant and this was the only one that he liked. It just instantly soothed him. Yes you have to manually bounce it but we were shocked by him being able to sit in it so contently compared to other container items. Perhaps the hammock-like feel is soothing for babies? We didn’t want to spend the money at first but this is well-worth-it. He’s had quite a few blowouts in it before we got wise and put something down to protect it but fortunately we could just take the fabric off and wash it in the washer. It’s very attractive and great quality.

My baby gets overtired often. Even with no noise, white noise playing, dim room, swaddled, changed diaper, cuddles, and fed. As soon as this bouncer came in I put her right in, she initially startled at first but then she really settled down with the bouncing. She was asleep in about 5 min. She also cried when I stopped bouncing her. I think this is worth every penny already! As for the poop, she went poop today already but after some time in this chair she had another big load in her diaper . Love this thing! UPDATE I think this really got my baby into a good habit of chilling and sleeping. I take this with me everywhere, even on the road. Totally worth it and now my three month old is settled well with the help of this bouncer! UPDATE again: this placed my baby on a sleep schedule. I freakin love this thing. I wash the material and air dry outside. Dries fairly fast on a sunny day!

After reading tons and tons of 5 star reviews, I just knew that I HAD TO HAVE this bouncer. And, like a fool, I spent $200 on a bouncer–only to buy a $40 Fisher Price swing a month later.
Pros: very portable from one room of the house to another, not an eye sore, easy to wash, easy to get baby in and out
Cons: very pricey, my daughter (3 months) does not move around enough to make it bounce much—and therefore, she becomes bored in it.
Perhaps, once my daughter is older and tends to move more/is heavier, we might like it better. For now, I primarily use it when she is fussing and I am trying to get ready in the mornings…I just bring it in our small bathroom by our vanity, and I am able to bounce it with my foot while I fix my hair in the mornings.

Calling all fellow parents and savvy online shoppers, gather ’round for a review that’s about to shed some light on a product that rocked my parenting world!
So, here’s the scenario: I’m browsing through tiktok when a wave of bouncer seats floods my screen. Of course, curiosity piqued, but with a dash of skepticism. Is this the real deal or just another online trend?
After some careful research and a contemplative moment, I decided to make the leap and go for the BabyBjörn Bouncer. I wasn’t swayed by the budget-friendly options; I was all about that safety and comfort combo.
When my package arrived, the bouncer seat proved even better than anticipated. The soft cotton and snug jersey fabric felt like a hug from a cloud. The beige and gray hues? Timeless and adaptable.
But the real magic happened when I placed my precious bundle of joy in the bouncer. The giggles and bounces were like synchronized melodies, creating a mini party in my living room.
Let’s not overlook the most important feature—safety. While I explored various options, I learned that some lower-priced alternatives might compromise on safety. BabyBjörn doesn’t mess around when it comes to keeping our little ones secure and content.
So, to all my fellow parents navigating the vast realm of online baby gear, let me be your guide. Opt for the real deal, the BabyBjörn Bouncer. It’s more than a trendy name; it’s a path to a bouncier, happier baby and a reassured parent.
And there you have it, folks. An online purchase that delivered giggles, happiness, and, above all, peace of mind. Here’s to BabyBjörn and their top-notch bouncer seat. Your product reigns supreme in my household, and I salute you!

My 3 month old just started to really enjoy this bouncer. I tried so many times to place her in it before 3 months, but she HATED it and would flip out. I believe she didn’t weigh enough to lightly bounce and self soothe so I would have to bounce her with my foot which kind of defeats the purpose of this expensive bouncer. It truly devastated me that we spent all this money, the bouncer had 5 star reviews and she would just cry.
However, now that she’s three months old and 14 pounds, she loves it. It just took some time. I clip a sensory toy onto the bouncer and she bounces and giggles while we listen to nursery rhymes or read stories.
It folds up very nicely and is easy to store. I enjoy how the fabric is machine washable because she had a blow out in it once. I also feel like she is secure in it once she’s strapped in.
So moral of the story, if your baby is too light or colicky give it time. They will end up loving this product.

This bouncer is magical. Great size and weight to move around the house. Really like being able to adjust it so it can hold my newborn. He is about 9lbs in the photo.
My baby gets really chill in it, wish we were able to buy one of these with our first 2.
Easy to clean spit up off of too.
Edit to add: I added a video of my now almost 4 month old, making himself bounce like crazy. Definitely worth the money!

We bought this for our second baby and she LOVED it. At first it took a little while to get used to, but she would be able to sit in their content for a long time. I love how it’s soft yet you trust it holding your new baby in. The quality is great and it’s easy to move around with you to different locations. This was the only “bouncer” we had and it’s such a good “hands free” place to put baby while also knowing they are enjoying the motion of it. You keep it moving by tapping your foot so you can control the motion which is nice. Sometimes she’d even just like to sit still in it and watch while we were doing things. Very much recommend with 1 baby but definitely with 2 kids! It also folds down very easily so it’s flat and can fit in the car to take with you to travel or even when we’d go to grandmas house we could easily pack it.
