Great baby wrap carrier. I like this wrap because it is easy to use once you get the hang of it. It is great quality and it’s great that it is washable. The only thing I dislike it how warm it is I wish it was a little more light weight for the summer time or doing chores around the house with a hot baby. That’s my only reason for 4 stars.

My husband and I picked out this carrier, mainly because it was affordable and had a good reputation. Some cheaper less wrap-like carriers are associated with hip problems, so we didn’t want those. I was hesitant about the elaborate process of wrapping it around me, but it gets easier over time. It’s still a bit of a hassle though and I’m not sure it’s really worth it.
Pros:
1) The baby seems to like being in the boba. When she was first born, the boba wrap was one of the few things that made her quiet down and was the only way we could take her anywhere. But now that she’s getting more comfortable in her stroller, the boba is getting less appealing.
2) There’s pretty good back support. The weight of the baby is fairly evenly distributed so you can carry her around for awhile without too much back pain.
3) It’s nice to be able to carry the baby around and still have your hands free. You can even use it just doing chores around the house if you have a baby that wants to be held all the time but you need to vacuum or something like that.
4) It’s cheap, easy to clean, and light weight – after all, it’s basically just a giant strip of stretchy fabric.
Cons:
1) I’m constantly paranoid that she’s going to suffocate in there. She’s still too small to hold up her head so I try to support her head with part of the wrap, but then I’m constantly fussing with it to make sure her face isn’t pressed into the fabric or my boobs.
2) It’s hot! I guess this happens anytime you strap another person to your body, but the weather is getting warmer and it’s just too hot to walk around outside with her in it.
3) The wrap is ridiculously long. After following the wrapping instructions, you’re left with feet and feet of fabric and you can either have a giant tail or wrap it around your waist a million more times.
4) It’s kinda a pain to deal with the wrapping. It takes a little while to put on and then you have to maneuver a wiggly baby into it. Where we live, you pretty much have to drive everywhere, so running errands with the boba involves constantly moving the baby from car seat to wrap. It’s much easier just to take out the car seat and click it into the stroller.
5) Even if you can get the baby to fall asleep in the boba, you will never get them to stay asleep when you take them out. My husband always compares taking her out of the boba to giving birth – very traumatizing.
6) When the baby gets sick of it, she starts screaming and clawing at me with her tiny little talons.
Overall it’s a fairly good product, but it’s not for everyone. If you’re really into wearing your baby and do a lot of walking, then you might really like this. Also it’s a nice way to give you husband an idea of what it was like lugging a baby around your midsection for 9 months – although it’s not really the same since it doesn’t come with nausea, heartburn, exhaustion, ect.

Honestly this thing has been a game changer. I was nervous about figuring out how to wrap it at first because it looks intimidating, but once you get the hang of it it’s actually pretty intuitive. The fit is really customizable since it’s just one long piece of fabric — you adjust it to your body which I loved, especially postpartum when my body was still changing. It sits snug against your chest and the baby feels secure without feeling squished. Appearance-wise it’s simple and clean, nothing flashy, but it looks put together enough that I didn’t feel frumpy wearing it out.
Breathability is decent but not its strongest point — on warmer days I definitely felt the heat buildup, so I’d say it’s better suited for cooler weather or indoors. The fabric is incredibly soft though, both for me and for the baby, which made long wearing sessions comfortable for both of us. Back support surprised me in the best way — with the weight distributed across your whole torso it doesn’t strain your lower back the way a lot of carriers do. As for durability, I’ve washed it more times than I can count and it still looks and feels the same as when I got it. No pilling, no stretching out. For a newborn stage carrier it’s genuinely one of the best investments I made.

This wrap is a HUGE help to me right now! I have two daughters, a 4 week old and a 14 month old. I had a baby carrier with straps and buckles that I tried to use with my first daughter. She didn’t like being in it but I saved it for future kids. My second daughter loves being held and being close to me so I tried that same carrier with her and while she would go in it, I knew she was uncomfortable in it and would end up not staying in for long. I decided to give this wrap a try thinking she might like it better since it’s just all fabric with no straps or buckles and she loves it! As long as I get her in it while she’s calm and content, she will fall asleep and stay in it for a few hours giving me my arms and hands back to handle and care for my 14 month old and do whatever else I need to do that I couldn’t if I were constantly having to hold her. I learned that you can also breastfeed your baby while they are in the wrap too. While I’m no longer breastfeeding for various reasons, I did try bottle feeding her while in it and I had no issues at all! It may not go as smoothly every time, but it certainly made things a lot easier the one time I did try it not having to take her out and fully wake her up and risk her not wanting to go back in if I need to get some things done. But I would only bottle feed her in it if actually needed to and wouldn’t make it a habit because she would still need diaper changes and time to just be out of the wrap. However, I can see it being beneficial if I’m out and about with her in the wrap and need to feed her. Overall, I love that I’m able to do pretty much everything I need to do while my daughter is in this wrap. It’s comfortable to wear for up to 2-3 hours at a time, which is how long I typically keep my daughter in it before taking her out and giving her some free hours to stretch out, do floor time, and spend time with dad and breathe a bit because baby can get hot in the wrap over time. So far I’ve had no issues. The fabric is very long especially if you’re short like me (5’2) so when putting the wrap on, it does drag on the floor. I don’t particularly like that but it’s not a deal breaker. Other than that, I haven’t found anything else to not love about this wrap! Highly recommend!

I initially purchased the Balboa baby sling from BuyBuyBaby (my other favorite baby gear store) but returned it within one week because I hated it because my baby hated it! The sling was difficult to get right for my then 6 week old who was too young to put in that contraption – no matter how tight I made the sling (which for those of you who have tried it, once you make it that tight to fit a tiny tiny person, it is extremely difficult to get off – especially when your baby is wailing!) I tried that thing a few times during that week but I never felt comfortable that no matter what I was doing, my baby was breathing properly and that it was safe. So I returned it.
I initially did NOT want a long wrap with lots and lots of fabric that I had to figure out what to do with. Not to mention that I was uncomfortable with the thought that the fabric might unravel and that I might drop my baby! But after failing at one of those pre-made slings, I had to try something that I could make on my own and women had been using for centuries to carry their little ones.
So I did a little bit of research on wraps and slings and narrowed it down to this or the Moby wrap from Babyz Corner. I don’t remember what I saw that made me select the Boba over the Moby (price maybe) but I went with this. So far this product is amazing! This is my favorite item next to my baby’s car seat, here’s why:
1. I can hold my baby super close to my heart and chest giving both me and my baby lots of comfort. I didn’t realize how much I missed having that close connection with my baby during my pregnancy until I wore him in this for a couple of weeks and remembered that this little guy that i was hugging on the outside of my body was just inside my body a few short weeks ago.
2. The color in grey is nice and subtle and sometimes when I wear this wrap, it looks like its a cool part of my outfit (not really but at least I don’t feel like i’m wearing a backpack).
3. I can wear the sling all day long. When I put baby in his car seat, I hop into the driver’s seat and take off without unclipping/unwrapping/undoing anything. When I get to where I need to be, I just pop baby back in and we head off. I didn’t realize how much mobility this offers me compared to a stroller but if you don’t have one of these – you seriously need one.
4. BEST thing to get baby to go to sleep. You can wear this 3 ways from what I’ve seen so far (infant hug hold, cradle hold, and baby hug hold -where the baby’s legs are dangling from the bottom). I use this in the cradle hold to get my baby to sleep and tuck him in the fabric to hold his head secure and his body snug to mine. With a few bouncy bouncy bouncies on a quick 2 minute walk, my baby is out for his nap!
I love the concept of this baby carrier, which is why i gave it 5 stars. However, I am on the lookout for a cooler version of the wrap for the summer time as the material doesn’t breathe very much and after an hour walking with my son, he gets too hot and sweaty (for those of you who are trying to figure that out, when you are hot and sweaty, so is your baby because heat transfers when you are holding your baby).
If you currently do not have a baby carrier and have a newborn or infant less than 12 weeks – I HIGHLY recommend the wrap. it is perfect for you and your baby and is probably easier to get him accustomed to being in this early on rather than later on.

I have only has this wrap 2 days and it has already been worth its weight in gold!
My little guy is almost weeks old and weighs 8 pounds. He has been fussy since he was born, dealing with a few tummy issues so that anytime he was laid down he would cry and often spit up, even though he had been burped. He also typically eats once an hour or more so when I was told to keep him upright for 30 minutes after feeding him I was discouraged… no sleep for me ever. Sigh. I started researching carriers and initially wanted to stay away from a wrap because it seemed too complicated. When I learned about hip dysplasia I became concerned about trying to use one of the more rigid carriers with buckles because my baby is still so small. I was also on a budget and couldn’t justify spending over $100 for something that would only be used for a matter of months. (Note: Now that I have used a wrap for a couple days I would say that it is worth it to spend more for an ergonomically correct buckle in style carrier if you are so intimidated by a wrap that you would go without a carrier. But before doing that I would recommend trying a wrap.)
I asked our pediatrician what she recommended and she said a wrap was the way to go. I researched various wraps and watched a few videos on how to properly use them. I decided to purchase this Boba wrap because of it’s good reviews and price point.
I was able to properly use it my very first try. It was so much easier than I thought! I credit the ease of use to watching enough videos on YouTube beforehand. If you do your research it should be easy for you too. 🙂
Pros:
– Baby is very secure and comfortable.
– Baby doesn’t slip down or need to be readjusted.
– I can finally get some things done around the house and my baby is happy!
– Affordable.
– Much easier to use than I thought.
Cons:
– I get quite warm while using the wrap. I’m glad my baby was born in the fall because the thought of using this wrap in weather over 70 degrees is not appealing. I had seen other wraps that were lighter/ thinner but they tended to wear out quickly according to some reviews. If your baby is born in warm weather months you may want to try a lighter weight wrap.
Final thoughts: Having this wrap has already saved my sanity. It would make an AMAZING baby shower gift! It is certainly something I plan on buying as a gift for friends in the future.
If my opinion about this wrap changes in the future I will update this review. For now, I love it!

The material of this sling is soft and my newborn feels well supported. It’s also very comfortable to wear. However- I’m 5 foot 4 and feel like the length of material is excessive. It makes it very difficult to put it on outdoors (if trying to keep the sling clean) as there is so much material. I didn’t have this issue with a previous fabric sling I’ve owned – my old one was roughly half the length. Apart from the excessive length it’s a great sling.

He was awake for 5-6-7 hours, couldn’t fall asleep anywhere though we tried everything from rocking to sleep, pacifier, white noise, swaddle, sleeping in the buggy, car etc.
This wrap arrived one afternoon and I was dead exhausted from trying to get my little baby to sleep for hours and him just being overtired from not sleeping. I immediately put the wrap on, put my son in it and within half a minute he was asleep! I couldn’t believe it. First I thought he was just so tired that he would have slept anywhere but the wrap kept working like magic. It quickly became our default nap place for the baby. For 3 and a half months, he did practically all his naps in here!!
It is really an amazing product! So easy to use, both me and my husband put it on with ease after one practice. It’s also super comfy for the baby (in contrast to more structured carriers – we also had the Tula but as a newborn, our son didn’t find ut comfy enough to sleep in it). I loved that we could basically put the baby to sleep anywhere because we just brought the wrap everywhere. Initially i was afraid that if we keep using it for naps, he will start to demand it at night but no, he remained an easy cosleeper sleeper for the nights.
Now that he is 5 months old we are transitioning back to cosleeper naps, he is now ready for that and goes down without problems. I already miss our wrap snuggles, it is really such a special way to help your little bebe to sleep. The boba wrap was the best baby purchase we did!

My 23lb baby loves to be held, and I’ve tried multiple carriers without much luck—until I found this wrap! I had avoided wraps in the past because I didn’t want to deal with complicated tying and assembly. I previously tried the Boba wrap with straps and found it super uncomfortable. I also have the Tushbaby, which works for quick trips but puts a lot of strain on my back and still requires one arm to support my baby.
I’ve owned two other strap-style carriers that have been sitting untouched for over 8 months. I honestly thought I’d just have to live with sore arms and a tired back—until now.

We used this Boba wrap for the first couple of months with our baby, and it was wonderful during those early newborn days. It kept him close and cozy, and I loved being able to have my hands free while carrying him around the house. The soft, stretchy material made it comfortable for both of us, especially when he wanted to be held all the time.
As our baby grew, we eventually switched to a more structured carrier that worked better for his size and our needs. But for the newborn stage, this wrap was a great choice and gave us lots of use during those first few months!
Once you figure out how to use, eventually it becomes easy to use. Material is very soft and comfortable.

Recently while pregnant with my 4th baby I bought the new version of the Ergo carrier I faithfully used with my first 3 children. It felt very stiff and not as comfortable as I remembered. Once this baby was born I tried to use it a couple times and both my baby and I hated it. I needed to try something else and decided on the Boba wrap. I had tried a wrap with my 2nd baby 10yrs ago and I never got the hang of it (was not boba) but I was determined to try again. It could not have been more easy. My baby is so happy in the boba and it’s so comfortable for us both. I wear it daily around the house and we go on 3-4 mile walks and he usually sleeps the whole time. I get a lot of comments and compliments and people have stopped to ask me about it. The only thing that is a downside is nothing about the functionality itself but rather the fact that it’s like 20ft of fabric so it’s not the most convenient to slap on when you’re out and about. If I know I’ll be wearing baby once we get to our destination, I’ll put it on at home in front of the mirror right before we leave. I also have gotten the hang of putting it on in the car, which is preferable to outside of the car so that it doesn’t touch the ground. It’s always neatly folded in my diaper bag backpack if I’m not wearing it, I don’t leave home without it. I almost bought the black so that it goes with everything but the grey color was so appealing to me in the stock photos and I’d say the stock photos represent the true grey color well. It’s a really nice neutral warm grey that works really well with my wardrobe and I think the wrap looks very chic. It’s affordable and such a good option for baby wearing.

It’s comfortable to wear for up to 2-3 hours at a time, which is how long I typically keep my daughter in it before taking her out and giving her some free hours to stretch out, do floor time, and spend time with dad and breathe a bit because baby can get hot in the wrap over time. So far I’ve had no issues. The fabric is very long especially if you’re short like me (5’2) so when putting the wrap on, it does drag on the floor. I don’t particularly like that but it’s not a deal breaker. Other than that, I haven’t found anything else to not love about this wrap! Highly recommend!

I bought this because the sizing on the baby k’tan carriers didn’t really work for me– I was annoyingly between sizes. I’d heard good things about this wrap– the learning curve was not too steep and it was pretty versatile. I haven’t used it a ton since I’ve only had it for a couple of weeks now and it’s been snowy and so I have been pretty housebound, but it’s been pretty easy the few times I’ve tried it out. My son is growing pretty rapidly, so I’m not sure how much longer I’ll be comfortable, but so far he fits pretty well and my back doesn’t feel it. I’m careful to make sure that I’ve wrapped it tight enough and that the straps are wide across my back and shoulders. My main regret with the boba wrap is that I didn’t buy it before he was born so I could have started wearing him in the beginning. Instead, I got this when he was about six weeks old and I feel like I have to get him used to the idea of baby wearing…
ETA- My son is now 7 months old. I stopped using the Boba wrap when he was about 5 months old because it was just too bouncy with his weight (he was about 15 pounds when I stopped wearing him). However, I LOVED this wrap before that. I vastly preferred wearing him in the wrap to the stroller because we were both much more content (he cried less and I was more confident in knowing how he was doing). He also fell asleep probably 75% of the time I wore him for longer than 20 minutes, which is kind of a great thing when you need to be sure of a nap. I loved the stretchiness of the fabric in the beginning, but that was part of why I quit wearing it and switched to the ergobaby (which I now also love, but it’s less convenient than a wrap in a lot of ways!). I would always put the wrap on really tight and then stretch it for my son to fit in pretty snug. I only felt like it was a little too tight two, maybe three, times. Not a real issue. I also loved being able to put the wrap on ahead of time– before going in the car, etc– where other style carriers have to be put on pretty much at the same time you’re planning on wearing your baby. I am definitely keeping this wrap around in case of another baby, though I’ve also heard that solly wraps are better in warm weather (we get SOOO SWEATY while baby wearing! it’s kind of disgusting sometimes).

I purchased this wrap out of desperation when my 6 week old baby from one day to another stopped being able to nap in his cosleeper. He was awake for 5-6-7 hours, couldn’t fall asleep anywhere though we tried everything from rocking to sleep, pacifier, white noise, swaddle, sleeping in the buggy, car etc.
This wrap arrived one afternoon and I was dead exhausted from trying to get my little baby to sleep for hours and him just being overtired from not sleeping. I immediately put the wrap on, put my son in it and within half a minute he was asleep! I couldn’t believe it. For 3 and a half months, he did practically all his naps in here!!

Even when using it at shopping centres that are air conditioned my baby still got very hot very quickly. If your bubs has trapped wind being in this will be quite uncomfortable. Didn’t like how inconvenient it was to put on when out and about. It’s a really long single piece of material so it will drag along the ground when you’re wrapping it around yourself – unlike these other baby carriers that are easy to throw on and off. And I found I couldn’t bend over that easy so it’s not like I could use it to get stuff done around the house while bubs slept. All in all it’s good value for what you get. Will test it out in winter and see if we get more use out of it.

About the product: very skin friendly material which is sturdy and you can be sure that the baby will be comfortable inside the wrap. it also gives you a feeling of absolute confidence in walking around without having to hold on to the baby inside the wrap. But if you are intending on using it, please start it as early as possible so that the baby feels comfortable in it.

The Boba Baby Wrap Carrier is a wonderful way to keep baby close to you while at home or in public.
Velcro baby or not, keeping your newborn close to your body is beneficial for Mama and baby, and health of both is important in those first stages of life and postpartum. My added benefit was in public, especially where I already knew people; the wrap kept even well-intentioned people at bay. Which gave me peace of mind at a time when I was anxious about taking my first infant out in public during sick season.
It’s helpful to wear around the house so you can be, at least a little, productive in those first months. I did have a Velcro baby that breastfed, so he wanted to be close even when he wasn’t feeding.
The wrap is comfortable and adjusts to pretty much any body type. I have a long torso and am very top heavy, which I thought might be a problem. However, after a few practice ties (which I did before I planned on using it to go out, so I knew what to do. And I suggest anyone using this do the same!!), I learned what best worked for my baby and my body.
Now, if you are prone to overheating, this wrap will not help that! The material is breathable, but when it gets bunched or layered because of the design, you will get warm. I made the mistake of dressing for the (very cold) weather ONE time when planning to use the Boba. After that I dressed lighter and let my little guy and the wrap warm me with a light jacket instead. It’s not a complaint just something people need to be mindful of.
It’s easy to wash, so maintenance is minimal, just throw it in with all the burp clothes you’re already washing!!
The Sage Green color is very pretty, I was getting everything in green at that time, turns out my little guy is a blue man😂
The Boba is secure, functional, and keeps baby feeling like they’re back in your belly, while being right next to your heartbeat. The Boba is wonderful 20/10 I loved it!!!

This wrap is a HUGE help to me right now! I have two daughters, a 4 week old and a 14 month old. I had a baby carrier with straps and buckles that I tried to use with my first daughter. She didn’t like being in it but I saved it for future kids. My second daughter loves being held and being close to me so I tried that same carrier with her and while she would go in it, I knew she was uncomfortable in it and would end up not staying in for long. I decided to give this wrap a try thinking she might like it better since it’s just all fabric with no straps or buckles and she loves it! As long as I get her in it while she’s calm and content, she will fall asleep and stay in it for a few hours giving me my arms and hands back to handle and care for my 14 month old and do whatever else I need to do that I couldn’t if I were constantly having to hold her. I learned that you can also breastfeed your baby while they are in the wrap too. While I’m no longer breastfeeding for various reasons, I did try bottle feeding her while in it and I had no issues at all! It may not go as smoothly every time, but it certainly made things a lot easier the one time I did try it not having to take her out and fully wake her up and risk her not wanting to go back in if I need to get some things done. But I would only bottle feed her in it if actually needed to and wouldn’t make it a habit because she would still need diaper changes and time to just be out of the wrap. However, I can see it being beneficial if I’m out and about with her in the wrap and need to feed her. Overall, I love that I’m able to do pretty much everything I need to do while my daughter is in this wrap. Great baby wrap carrier. I like this wrap because it is easy to use once you get the hang of it. It is great quality and it’s great that it is washable. The only thing I dislike it how warm it is I wish it was a little more light weight for the summer time or doing chores around the house with a hot baby. That’s my only reason for 4 stars.

I got this wrap for my second child. I had the Infantino Flip 4-1 carrier for my first and it worked great, I really have no complaints. However, with my second that I recently had, she was a preemie and didn’t fit in it. I thought and looked around for a better option for her. I knew of the wraps but I had always thought they wouldn’t be the best fit for me. Man was I wrong. It is very long and overwhelming when you originally go to put it on the first time. I definitely had to have the instruction manual the first few times. It’s super comfortable and it really does keep baby extra cozy. If I go to set baby down she will cry a lot and I find I don’t get much done. If I wear her in this she will sleep for hours. For example in this picture, it was my son’s second birthday party and she had been in it for almost 3 hours before waking up just to eat. This is now my favorite carrier. We haven’t had my husband wear it yet but I assume it will work just as good for him. He should have plenty of room if he decides to wear her. Love this wrap to baby wear. I had a winter baby and didn’t always want to carry my baby in the car seat when we would go somewhere. He was awake for 5-6-7 hours, couldn’t fall asleep anywhere though we tried everything from rocking to sleep, pacifier, white noise, swaddle, sleeping in the buggy, car etc.
This wrap arrived one afternoon and I was dead exhausted from trying to get my little baby to sleep for hours and him just being overtired from not sleeping. I immediately put the wrap on, put my son in it and within half a minute he was asleep! I couldn’t believe it. First I thought he was just so tired that he would have slept anywhere but the wrap kept working like magic. It quickly became our default nap place for the baby. For 3 and a half months, he did practically all his naps in here!!
It is really an amazing product! So easy to use, both me and my husband put it on with ease after one practice. It’s also super comfy for the baby (in contrast to more structured carriers – we also had the Tula but as a newborn, our son didn’t find ut comfy enough to sleep in it). I loved that we could basically put the baby to sleep anywhere because we just brought the wrap everywhere. Initially i was afraid that if we keep using it for naps, he will start to demand it at night but no, he remained an easy cosleeper sleeper for the nights.
Now that he is 5 months old we are transitioning back to cosleeper naps, he is now ready for that and goes down without problems. I already miss our wrap snuggles, it is really such a special way to help your little bebe to sleep. The boba wrap was the best baby purchase we did!

I used four different carriers for my baby: a Baby K’Tan, this Boba Wrap, an Ergo Baby, and a Lillebaby. Here are the pros and cons of each:
First, the Baby K’Tan. I tried this one first and loved it for my newborn. The main advantage to the K’Tan is that it is sort of a Boba or Moby Wrap for Dummies: easier to put on, and made of less stretchy fabric. This held my baby snugly to my chest, and this was the ONLY way she would nap most afternoons. I spent a lot of time with her in this! The fabric does stretch out eventually, but I simply put the K’tan in the washer and through the dryer on high heat, and it went back to its original size. Cons: The K’Tan is sized, so unless you want to buy two (or you are the same size), your partner wont’ be able to use it. As my baby got heavier, we needed a carrier my husband could use, too. Also ,the support strap ties in back, and this is uncomfortable if you want to wear the carrier while sitting (for example, on a long airplane flight).
Second, the Boba Wrap. This was the second carrier I bought. I love the soft, stretchy, thick fabric–much better feeling than a Moby. Also, the wrap ties in front so there is no knot in the back when you are sitting. Unlike the K’Tan, this one requires you to figure out how to wrap and tie, and it is a bit of a learning curve. However, the plus side was that my husband could use this, too. Now that my baby is over 6 months old, though, we mostly use the Lillebaby as it is more supportive and distributes her weight better.
Third, the Ergo Baby. We ended up returning this one. For one, the infant insert just did not work out for us. Every time my husband tried this, the baby would start crying and fussing. For a newborn, it is definitely better to use a stretchy wrap like the Boba or K’Tan.
Finally, the Lillebaby. This is the carrier we are currently using for our 7 month old. It supports her weight well, allows for multiple positions (including outward facing, which she now prefers), and does not require her to dangle from her crotch (as a Bjorn does). But this would not have been as comfy for her as a newborn.
Overall, if you plan to get two carriers, I’d recommend the Boba (for an infant) and the Lillebaby for a larger baby.

My husband and I picked out this carrier, mainly because it was affordable and had a good reputation. Some cheaper less wrap-like carriers are associated with hip problems, so we didn’t want those. I was hesitant about the elaborate process of wrapping it around me, but it gets easier over time. It’s still a bit of a hassle though and I’m not sure it’s really worth it.
Pros:
1) The baby seems to like being in the boba. When she was first born, the boba wrap was one of the few things that made her quiet down and was the only way we could take her anywhere. But now that she’s getting more comfortable in her stroller, the boba is getting less appealing.
2) There’s pretty good back support. The weight of the baby is fairly evenly distributed so you can carry her around for awhile without too much back pain.
3) It’s nice to be able to carry the baby around and still have your hands free. You can even use it just doing chores around the house if you have a baby that wants to be held all the time but you need to vacuum or something like that.
4) It’s cheap, easy to clean, and light weight – after all, it’s basically just a giant strip of stretchy fabric.
Cons:
1) I’m constantly paranoid that she’s going to suffocate in there. She’s still too small to hold up her head so I try to support her head with part of the wrap, but then I’m constantly fussing with it to make sure her face isn’t pressed into the fabric or my boobs.
2) It’s hot! I guess this happens anytime you strap another person to your body, but the weather is getting warmer and it’s just too hot to walk around outside with her in it.
3) The wrap is ridiculously long. After following the wrapping instructions, you’re left with feet and feet of fabric and you can either have a giant tail or wrap it around your waist a million more times.
4) It’s kinda a pain to deal with the wrapping. It takes a little while to put on and then you have to maneuver a wiggly baby into it. Where we live, you pretty much have to drive everywhere, so running errands with the boba involves constantly moving the baby from car seat to wrap. It’s much easier just to take out the car seat and click it into the stroller.
5) Even if you can get the baby to fall asleep in the boba, you will never get them to stay asleep when you take them out. My husband always compares taking her out of the boba to giving birth – very traumatizing.
6) When the baby gets sick of it, she starts screaming and clawing at me with her tiny little talons.
Overall it’s a fairly good product, but it’s not for everyone. If you’re really into wearing your baby and do a lot of walking, then you might really like this. Also it’s a nice way to give you husband an idea of what it was like lugging a baby around your midsection for 9 months – although it’s not really the same since it doesn’t come with nausea, heartburn, exhaustion, ect.

When it came in I got it out of the box and immediately put it on, so I could put child in it. This thing is amazing and supper soft. It also fits very well compared to the momcozy adjustable warp. 100% would recommend if you more in the XL or XXL department. I’m and heavier set women and I’m able to wear my child. This wrap is a HUGE help to me right now! I have two daughters, a 4 week old and a 14 month old. I had a baby carrier with straps and buckles that I tried to use with my first daughter. She didn’t like being in it but I saved it for future kids. My second daughter loves being held and being close to me so I tried that same carrier with her and while she would go in it, I knew she was uncomfortable in it and would end up not staying in for long. I decided to give this wrap a try thinking she might like it better since it’s just all fabric with no straps or buckles and she loves it! As long as I get her in it while she’s calm and content, she will fall asleep and stay in it for a few hours giving me my arms and hands back to handle and care for my 14 month old and do whatever else I need to do that I couldn’t if I were constantly having to hold her. I learned that you can also breastfeed your baby while they are in the wrap too. While I’m no longer breastfeeding for various reasons, I did try bottle feeding her while in it and I had no issues at all! It may not go as smoothly every time, but it certainly made things a lot easier the one time I did try it not having to take her out and fully wake her up and risk her not wanting to go back in if I need to get some things done. But I would only bottle feed her in it if actually needed to and wouldn’t make it a habit because she would still need diaper changes and time to just be out of the wrap. However, I can see it being beneficial if I’m out and about with her in the wrap and need to feed her. Overall, I love that I’m able to do pretty much everything I need to do while my daughter is in this wrap. It’s comfortable to wear for up to 2-3 hours at a time, which is how long I typically keep my daughter in it before taking her out and giving her some free hours to stretch out, do floor time, and spend time with dad and breathe a bit because baby can get hot in the wrap over time. So far I’ve had no issues. The fabric is very long especially if you’re short like me (5’2) so when putting the wrap on, it does drag on the floor. I don’t particularly like that but it’s not a deal breaker. Other than that, I haven’t found anything else to not love about this wrap! Highly recommend!

I used four different carriers for my baby: a Baby K’Tan, this Boba Wrap, an Ergo Baby, and a Lillebaby. Here are the pros and cons of each:
First, the Baby K’Tan. I tried this one first and loved it for my newborn. The main advantage to the K’Tan is that it is sort of a Boba or Moby Wrap for Dummies: easier to put on, and made of less stretchy fabric. This held my baby snugly to my chest, and this was the ONLY way she would nap most afternoons. I spent a lot of time with her in this! The fabric does stretch out eventually, but I simply put the K’tan in the washer and through the dryer on high heat, and it went back to its original size. Cons: The K’Tan is sized, so unless you want to buy two (or you are the same size), your partner wont’ be able to use it. As my baby got heavier, we needed a carrier my husband could use, too. Also ,the support strap ties in back, and this is uncomfortable if you want to wear the carrier while sitting (for example, on a long airplane flight).
Second, the Boba Wrap. This was the second carrier I bought. I love the soft, stretchy, thick fabric–much better feeling than a Moby. Also, the wrap ties in front so there is no knot in the back when you are sitting. Unlike the K’Tan, this one requires you to figure out how to wrap and tie, and it is a bit of a learning curve. However, the plus side was that my husband could use this, too. Now that my baby is over 6 months old, though, we mostly use the Lillebaby as it is more supportive and distributes her weight better.
Third, the Ergo Baby. We ended up returning this one. For one, the infant insert just did not work out for us. Every time my husband tried this, the baby would start crying and fussing. For a newborn, it is definitely better to use a stretchy wrap like the Boba or K’Tan.
Finally, the Lillebaby. This is the carrier we are currently using for our 7 month old. It supports her weight well, allows for multiple positions (including outward facing, which she now prefers), and does not require her to dangle from her crotch (as a Bjorn does). But this would not have been as comfy for her as a newborn.
Overall, if you plan to get two carriers, I’d recommend the Boba (for an infant) and the Lillebaby for a larger baby.

4) It’s kinda a pain to deal with the wrapping. It takes a little while to put on and then you have to maneuver a wiggly baby into it. Where we live, you pretty much have to drive everywhere, so running errands with the boba involves constantly moving the baby from car seat to wrap. It’s much easier just to take out the car seat and click it into the stroller.
5) Even if you can get the baby to fall asleep in the boba, you will never get them to stay asleep when you take them out. My husband always compares taking her out of the boba to giving birth – very traumatizing.
6) When the baby gets sick of it, she starts screaming and clawing at me with her tiny little talons.
Overall it’s a fairly good product, but it’s not for everyone. If you’re really into wearing your baby and do a lot of walking, then you might really like this. Also it’s a nice way to give you husband an idea of what it was like lugging a baby around your midsection for 9 months – although it’s not really the same since it doesn’t come with nausea, heartburn, exhaustion, ect.

I have only has this wrap 2 days and it has already been worth its weight in gold!
My little guy is almost weeks old and weighs 8 pounds. He has been fussy since he was born, dealing with a few tummy issues so that anytime he was laid down he would cry and often spit up, even though he had been burped. He also typically eats once an hour or more so when I was told to keep him upright for 30 minutes after feeding him I was discouraged… no sleep for me ever. Sigh. I started researching carriers and initially wanted to stay away from a wrap because it seemed too complicated. When I learned about hip dysplasia I became concerned about trying to use one of the more rigid carriers with buckles because my baby is still so small. I was also on a budget and couldn’t justify spending over $100 for something that would only be used for a matter of months. (Note: Now that I have used a wrap for a couple days I would say that it is worth it to spend more for an ergonomically correct buckle in style carrier if you are so intimidated by a wrap that you would go without a carrier. But before doing that I would recommend trying a wrap.)
I asked our pediatrician what she recommended and she said a wrap was the way to go. I researched various wraps and watched a few videos on how to properly use them. I decided to purchase this Boba wrap because of it’s good reviews and price point.
I was able to properly use it my very first try. It was so much easier than I thought! I credit the ease of use to watching enough videos on YouTube beforehand. If you do your research it should be easy for you too. 🙂
Pros:
– Baby is very secure and comfortable.
– Baby doesn’t slip down or need to be readjusted.
– I can finally get some things done around the house and my baby is happy!
– Affordable.
– Much easier to use than I thought.
Cons:
– I get quite warm while using the wrap. I’m glad my baby was born in the fall because the thought of using this wrap in weather over 70 degrees is not appealing. I had seen other wraps that were lighter/ thinner but they tended to wear out quickly according to some reviews. If your baby is born in warm weather months you may want to try a lighter weight wrap.
Final thoughts: Having this wrap has already saved my sanity. It would make an AMAZING baby shower gift! It is certainly something I plan on buying as a gift for friends in the future.
If my opinion about this wrap changes in the future I will update this review. For now, I love it!

The Boba Baby Wrap Carrier is a wonderful way to keep baby close to you while at home or in public.
Velcro baby or not, keeping your newborn close to your body is beneficial for Mama and baby, and health of both is important in those first stages of life and postpartum. My added benefit was in public, especially where I already knew people; the wrap kept even well-intentioned people at bay. Which gave me peace of mind at a time when I was anxious about taking my first infant out in public during sick season.
It’s helpful to wear around the house so you can be, at least a little, productive in those first months. I did have a Velcro baby that breastfed, so he wanted to be close even when he wasn’t feeding.
The wrap is comfortable and adjusts to pretty much any body type. I have a long torso and am very top heavy, which I thought might be a problem. However, after a few practice ties (which I did before I planned on using it to go out, so I knew what to do. And I suggest anyone using this do the same!!), I learned what best worked for my baby and my body.
Now, if you are prone to overheating, this wrap will not help that! The material is breathable, but when it gets bunched or layered because of the design, you will get warm. I made the mistake of dressing for the (very cold) weather ONE time when planning to use the Boba. After that I dressed lighter and let my little guy and the wrap warm me with a light jacket instead. It’s not a complaint just something people need to be mindful of.
It’s easy to wash, so maintenance is minimal, just throw it in with all the burp clothes you’re already washing!!
The Sage Green color is very pretty, I was getting everything in green at that time, turns out my little guy is a blue man😂
The Boba is secure, functional, and keeps baby feeling like they’re back in your belly, while being right next to your heartbeat. The Boba is wonderful 20/10 I loved it!!!

I bought this because the sizing on the baby k’tan carriers didn’t really work for me– I was annoyingly between sizes. I’d heard good things about this wrap– the learning curve was not too steep and it was pretty versatile. I haven’t used it a ton since I’ve only had it for a couple of weeks now and it’s been snowy and so I have been pretty housebound, but it’s been pretty easy the few times I’ve tried it out. My son is growing pretty rapidly, so I’m not sure how much longer I’ll be comfortable, but so far he fits pretty well and my back doesn’t feel it. I’m careful to make sure that I’ve wrapped it tight enough and that the straps are wide across my back and shoulders. My main regret with the boba wrap is that I didn’t buy it before he was born so I could have started wearing him in the beginning. Instead, I got this when he was about six weeks old and I feel like I have to get him used to the idea of baby wearing…
ETA- My son is now 7 months old. I stopped using the Boba wrap when he was about 5 months old because it was just too bouncy with his weight (he was about 15 pounds when I stopped wearing him). However, I LOVED this wrap before that. I vastly preferred wearing him in the wrap to the stroller because we were both much more content (he cried less and I was more confident in knowing how he was doing). He also fell asleep probably 75% of the time I wore him for longer than 20 minutes, which is kind of a great thing when you need to be sure of a nap. I loved the stretchiness of the fabric in the beginning, but that was part of why I quit wearing it and switched to the ergobaby (which I now also love, but it’s less convenient than a wrap in a lot of ways!). I would always put the wrap on really tight and then stretch it for my son to fit in pretty snug. I only felt like it was a little too tight two, maybe three, times. Not a real issue. I also loved being able to put the wrap on ahead of time– before going in the car, etc– where other style carriers have to be put on pretty much at the same time you’re planning on wearing your baby. I am definitely keeping this wrap around in case of another baby, though I’ve also heard that solly wraps are better in warm weather (we get SOOO SWEATY while baby wearing! it’s kind of disgusting sometimes).

When it came in I got it out of the box and immediately put it on, so I could put child in it. This thing is amazing and supper soft. It also fits very well compared to the momcozy adjustable warp. 100% would recommend if you more in the XL or XXL department. I’m and heavier set women and I’m able to wear my child. We are both very comfortable and not feeling stressed out or squished. They are true to size, don’t hesitate to getting this wrap and it’s actually very easy to put on.

Recently while pregnant with my 4th baby I bought the new version of the Ergo carrier I faithfully used with my first 3 children. It felt very stiff and not as comfortable as I remembered. Once this baby was born I tried to use it a couple times and both my baby and I hated it. I needed to try something else and decided on the Boba wrap. I had tried a wrap with my 2nd baby 10yrs ago and I never got the hang of it (was not boba) but I was determined to try again. It could not have been more easy. My baby is so happy in the boba and it’s so comfortable for us both. I wear it daily around the house and we go on 3-4 mile walks and he usually sleeps the whole time. I get a lot of comments and compliments and people have stopped to ask me about it. The only thing that is a downside is nothing about the functionality itself but rather the fact that it’s like 20ft of fabric so it’s not the most convenient to slap on when you’re out and about. If I know I’ll be wearing baby once we get to our destination, I’ll put it on at home in front of the mirror right before we leave. I also have gotten the hang of putting it on in the car, which is preferable to outside of the car so that it doesn’t touch the ground. It’s always neatly folded in my diaper bag backpack if I’m not wearing it, I don’t leave home without it. I almost bought the black so that it goes with everything but the grey color was so appealing to me in the stock photos and I’d say the stock photos represent the true grey color well. It’s a really nice neutral warm grey that works really well with my wardrobe and I think the wrap looks very chic. It’s affordable and such a good option for baby wearing.

If you’re thinking about baby wearing, do yourself a favor and buy this wrap. I’m a first time mom and I had registered for and received two different brands of expensive structured wraps. They turned out to be difficult to use and they were too big for my newborn so he ended up sitting way too low on my body and they were too long for me as I’m only 5 ft tall. I decided to purchase this wrap because I’ve got a velcro baby and I couldn’t just sit on the couch all day holding him. Once you learn how to wrap it, it’s so easy to use. I love that it’s fully adjustable since you just tie it to fit your body and baby so I can keep using it as my baby grows. The material is super stretchy so it’s easy to stretch the fabric around my baby to get him into the carrier without having to bend any of his limbs in an awkward angle and it doesn’t lose that elasticity throughout each wear so hes never sagging and I can always kiss the top of his head. It’s easy to travel with because it’s literally just fabric so I can roll it up in the diaper bag and baby wear outside the house. I love that I can just throw it in the washer when it’s dirty and this thing gets dirty because I can’t even put my baby down to eat! I also dont experience any back pain with this wrap because the weight of my baby is evenly distributed through my shoulders and around my waist. My only issue is that my shoulders are narrow and the straps slip towards my neck so I have to fold the fabric inwards around my baby’s face so its not covering his nose. This is the best money I have spent and it’s been a lifesaver. I wear the boba wrap every single day for probably 75% of the day and it allows me to get things done around the house and take care of myself too. This is the #1 purchase I’d recommend for any new moms. Now if only I could convince my husband to learn how to use it too!
EDIT August 2025:
I was only able to use this baby carrier until my son was 3 months old. While it could still support his weight, I had to tie it quite tight so he wouldn’t sag that it wasn’t great for summer because we were pressed against each other so firmly that I would get overheated and sweaty in between us and he would fuss to get out. For the price, this carrier was absolutely worth it during the time I used it with my baby, as it allowed me to be hands free but still close to him all day. I plan on using this with my next baby too!

This wrap is a HUGE help to me right now! I have two daughters, a 4 week old and a 14 month old. I had a baby carrier with straps and buckles that I tried to use with my first daughter. She didn’t like being in it but I saved it for future kids. My second daughter loves being held and being close to me so I tried that same carrier with her and while she would go in it, I knew she was uncomfortable in it and would end up not staying in for long. I decided to give this wrap a try thinking she might like it better since it’s just all fabric with no straps or buckles and she loves it! As long as I get her in it while she’s calm and content, she will fall asleep and stay in it for a few hours giving me my arms and hands back to handle and care for my 14 month old and do whatever else I need to do that I couldn’t if I were constantly having to hold her. I learned that you can also breastfeed your baby while they are in the wrap too. While I’m no longer breastfeeding for various reasons, I did try bottle feeding her while in it and I had no issues at all! It may not go as smoothly every time, but it certainly made things a lot easier the one time I did try it not having to take her out and fully wake her up and risk her not wanting to go back in if I need to get some things done. But I would only bottle feed her in it if actually needed to and wouldn’t make it a habit because she would still need diaper changes and time to just be out of the wrap. However, I can see it being beneficial if I’m out and about with her in the wrap and need to feed her. Overall, I love that I’m able to do pretty much everything I need to do while my daughter is in this wrap. It’s comfortable to wear for up to 2-3 hours at a time, which is how long I typically keep my daughter in it before taking her out and giving her some free hours to stretch out, do floor time, and spend time with dad and breathe a bit because baby can get hot in the wrap over time. So far I’ve had no issues. The fabric is very long especially if you’re short like me (5’2) so when putting the wrap on, it does drag on the floor. I don’t particularly like that but it’s not a deal breaker. Other than that, I haven’t found anything else to not love about this wrap! Highly recommend!

My 23lb baby loves to be held, and I’ve tried multiple carriers without much luck—until I found this wrap! I had avoided wraps in the past because I didn’t want to deal with complicated tying and assembly. I previously tried the Boba wrap with straps and found it super uncomfortable. I also have the Tushbaby, which works for quick trips but puts a lot of strain on my back and still requires one arm to support my baby.
I’ve owned two other strap-style carriers that have been sitting untouched for over 8 months. I honestly thought I’d just have to live with sore arms and a tired back—until now.
This wrap is amazing! I was a little intimidated at first by the idea of wrapping, but it’s actually incredibly simple to use. The instructions were clear and easy to follow. I even made a full crockpot dinner while wearing my baby—and I felt zero pain afterwards! My back didn’t ache, she didn’t feel heavy, and it was totally comfortable.
The fit is perfect for my chunky girl, and I wish I had bought this 10 months ago. Plus, we live in Florida and it’s breathable enough to wear outside without overheating. The 100% cotton fabric is soft, lightweight, and ideal for daily use.

I bought this because the sizing on the baby k’tan carriers didn’t really work for me– I was annoyingly between sizes. I’d heard good things about this wrap– the learning curve was not too steep and it was pretty versatile. I haven’t used it a ton since I’ve only had it for a couple of weeks now and it’s been snowy and so I have been pretty housebound, but it’s been pretty easy the few times I’ve tried it out. My son is growing pretty rapidly, so I’m not sure how much longer I’ll be comfortable, but so far he fits pretty well and my back doesn’t feel it. I’m careful to make sure that I’ve wrapped it tight enough and that the straps are wide across my back and shoulders. My main regret with the boba wrap is that I didn’t buy it before he was born so I could have started wearing him in the beginning. Instead, I got this when he was about six weeks old and I feel like I have to get him used to the idea of baby wearing…
ETA- My son is now 7 months old. I stopped using the Boba wrap when he was about 5 months old because it was just too bouncy with his weight (he was about 15 pounds when I stopped wearing him). However, I LOVED this wrap before that. I vastly preferred wearing him in the wrap to the stroller because we were both much more content (he cried less and I was more confident in knowing how he was doing). He also fell asleep probably 75% of the time I wore him for longer than 20 minutes, which is kind of a great thing when you need to be sure of a nap. I loved the stretchiness of the fabric in the beginning, but that was part of why I quit wearing it and switched to the ergobaby (which I now also love, but it’s less convenient than a wrap in a lot of ways!). I would always put the wrap on really tight and then stretch it for my son to fit in pretty snug. I only felt like it was a little too tight two, maybe three, times. Not a real issue. I also loved being able to put the wrap on ahead of time– before going in the car, etc– where other style carriers have to be put on pretty much at the same time you’re planning on wearing your baby. I am definitely keeping this wrap around in case of another baby, though I’ve also heard that solly wraps are better in warm weather (we get SOOO SWEATY while baby wearing! it’s kind of disgusting sometimes).

I initially purchased the Balboa baby sling from BuyBuyBaby (my other favorite baby gear store) but returned it within one week because I hated it because my baby hated it! The sling was difficult to get right for my then 6 week old who was too young to put in that contraption – no matter how tight I made the sling (which for those of you who have tried it, once you make it that tight to fit a tiny tiny person, it is extremely difficult to get off – especially when your baby is wailing!) I tried that thing a few times during that week but I never felt comfortable that no matter what I was doing, my baby was breathing properly and that it was safe. So I returned it.
I initially did NOT want a long wrap with lots and lots of fabric that I had to figure out what to do with. Not to mention that I was uncomfortable with the thought that the fabric might unravel and that I might drop my baby! But after failing at one of those pre-made slings, I had to try something that I could make on my own and women had been using for centuries to carry their little ones.
So I did a little bit of research on wraps and slings and narrowed it down to this or the Moby wrap from Babyz Corner. I don’t remember what I saw that made me select the Boba over the Moby (price maybe) but I went with this. So far this product is amazing! This is my favorite item next to my baby’s car seat, here’s why:
1. I can hold my baby super close to my heart and chest giving both me and my baby lots of comfort. I didn’t realize how much I missed having that close connection with my baby during my pregnancy until I wore him in this for a couple of weeks and remembered that this little guy that i was hugging on the outside of my body was just inside my body a few short weeks ago.
2. The color in grey is nice and subtle and sometimes when I wear this wrap, it looks like its a cool part of my outfit (not really but at least I don’t feel like i’m wearing a backpack).
3. I can wear the sling all day long. When I put baby in his car seat, I hop into the driver’s seat and take off without unclipping/unwrapping/undoing anything. When I get to where I need to be, I just pop baby back in and we head off. I didn’t realize how much mobility this offers me compared to a stroller but if you don’t have one of these – you seriously need one.
4. BEST thing to get baby to go to sleep. You can wear this 3 ways from what I’ve seen so far (infant hug hold, cradle hold, and baby hug hold -where the baby’s legs are dangling from the bottom). I use this in the cradle hold to get my baby to sleep and tuck him in the fabric to hold his head secure and his body snug to mine. With a few bouncy bouncy bouncies on a quick 2 minute walk, my baby is out for his nap!
I love the concept of this baby carrier, which is why i gave it 5 stars. However, I am on the lookout for a cooler version of the wrap for the summer time as the material doesn’t breathe very much and after an hour walking with my son, he gets too hot and sweaty (for those of you who are trying to figure that out, when you are hot and sweaty, so is your baby because heat transfers when you are holding your baby).
If you currently do not have a baby carrier and have a newborn or infant less than 12 weeks – I HIGHLY recommend the wrap. it is perfect for you and your baby and is probably easier to get him accustomed to being in this early on rather than later on.

Excellent for being out and about and avoiding taking a pram with you. But be aware that it’s thick stretchy cotton so your bubs can get very hot very quickly. We could only use it on cool days. Even when using it at shopping centres that are air conditioned my baby still got very hot very quickly. If your bubs has trapped wind being in this will be quite uncomfortable. Didn’t like how inconvenient it was to put on when out and about. It’s a really long single piece of material so it will drag along the ground when you’re wrapping it around yourself – unlike these other baby carriers that are easy to throw on and off. And I found I couldn’t bend over that easy so it’s not like I could use it to get stuff done around the house while bubs slept. All in all it’s good value for what you get. Will test it out in winter and see if we get more use out of it.

2) There’s pretty good back support. The weight of the baby is fairly evenly distributed so you can carry her around for awhile without too much back pain.
3) It’s nice to be able to carry the baby around and still have your hands free. You can even use it just doing chores around the house if you have a baby that wants to be held all the time but you need to vacuum or something like that.
4) It’s cheap, easy to clean, and light weight – after all, it’s basically just a giant strip of stretchy fabric.

Loved that the material is very soft and comfy. Easy to put on once you’ve practiced a few times. Our wee one fell asleep in this super easy. Excellent for being out and about and avoiding taking a pram with you. But be aware that it’s thick stretchy cotton so your bubs can get very hot very quickly. We could only use it on cool days. Even when using it at shopping centres that are air conditioned my baby still got very hot very quickly. If your bubs has trapped wind being in this will be quite uncomfortable. Didn’t like how inconvenient it was to put on when out and about. It’s a really long single piece of material so it will drag along the ground when you’re wrapping it around yourself – unlike these other baby carriers that are easy to throw on and off. And I found I couldn’t bend over that easy so it’s not like I could use it to get stuff done around the house while bubs slept. All in all it’s good value for what you get. Will test it out in winter and see if we get more use out of it.

This is a great beginners wrap! With the help of a Boba sponsored youtube video I was able to learn how to use this wrap fairly easily. Once I got the hang of it my son and I love it, I was wearing him in it starting at 1 week old. He loves to go out and about in it, and usually falls asleep. It’s easy to take on and off, stretchy, soft, comfortable.
My only two complaints are with any wrap like this, not just the Boba – 1) It being July, its a lot of fabric and tends to get hot and 2) you have to have it on in order to put the baby in it, so you have to plan ahead if you are going out and about, and have to literally wear the wrap when you leave the house. Now that I have mastered my Ring Sling I have been using the Boba a little less frequently. But I’m sure as it gets cooler I will still use the Boba, and it will still be preferably to the ring sling if I’m gonna be walking for a while, as it is a little more ergonomic and symmetrical (The ring sling hurts my back after a while, the Boba does not cause me pain as long as I get it tight enough!).

Washed and folds well and maintains softness. The ONlY thing is it is very warm for you as well. This is not optimal in hot weather as you get hot with the added layers. I have this carrier in two colors I love it so much! It isn’t difficult to put on and get baby in once you figure it out and have a little practice. I find it super comfortable for me to wear and really helps me get things done since baby loves it. It really is just one super long strip of fabric designed to this kind of carrier style, so don’t expect anything earth shattering, but fantastic quality material in my opinion. It’s great to fold up and stuff in the diaper bag. It also keeps baby super close so I’m not worried about other peoples germs or folks touching my baby! Be careful to use it correctly for safety since I could see how a baby could get hurt by no being able to breathe if not using properly.

Love love love. Super easy to use (after I looked up a video on YouTube that is… Took me one try after that and now I’m like a pro), very comfortable, and baby loves it. He sleeps everywhere we go when he is carried in it. I live in a very hot environment and he wasn’t any hotter in the wrap than he would have been out of it. I actually liked that I could keep him close to me so I could keep an eye on his body temperature better than if he was in a car seat or something. We don’t have strangers trying to touch him when he is in the wrap, and the ends work as a built in burp rag to wipe his mouth if he spits up a little while I am wearing it. It is great, I can go grocery shopping or to the park with him in the wrap, and I don’t have a car seat to lug around. If he gets fussy in the wrap, I’m already holding him to comfort him so I don’t have to take him out of a car seat and lug an empty car seat around. Compared to my first baby where we carried a car seat and diaper bag around everywhere we went, this is much easier and WAY less stressful. I like the stretchy fabric because it’s definitely a one size fits all. Anyone of any size can use this wrap for their baby. It also grows with my baby, three months using it and he still fits just right. I don’t feel like it sags or doesn’t hold him well – it is completely up to you how tightly your baby is wrapped! As long as I tighten it the right amount for me and my baby before I put him in we are both secure and comfortable. Its very easy to use. I would recommend this to anyone having a baby – it really makes life with a baby much easier and comfortable, for mom and baby! I have tried other carriers and I feel like my baby is more secure in this by far.

My absolute favorite wrap – I have two now and kind of want more. They are cute and wash up really well too (great because babies are constantly drooling and spitting up!). I initially purchased the Balboa baby sling from BuyBuyBaby (my other favorite baby gear store) but returned it within one week because I hated it because my baby hated it! The sling was difficult to get right for my then 6 week old who was too young to put in that contraption – no matter how tight I made the sling (which for those of you who have tried it, once you make it that tight to fit a tiny tiny person, it is extremely difficult to get off – especially when your baby is wailing!) I tried that thing a few times during that week but I never felt comfortable that no matter what I was doing, my baby was breathing properly and that it was safe. So I returned it.I initially did NOT want a long wrap with lots and lots of fabric that I had to figure out what to do with. Not to mention that I was uncomfortable with the thought that the fabric might unravel and that I might drop my baby! But after failing at one of those pre-made slings, I had to try something that I could make on my own and women had been using for centuries to carry their little ones.So I did a little bit of research on wraps and slings and narrowed it down to this or the Moby wrap from Babyz Corner. I don’t remember what I saw that made me select the Boba over the Moby (price maybe) but I went with this. So far this product is amazing! This is my favorite item next to my baby’s car seat, here’s why:1. I can hold my baby super close to my heart and chest giving both me and my baby lots of comfort. I didn’t realize how much I missed having that close connection with my baby during my pregnancy until I wore him in this for a couple of weeks and remembered that this little guy that i was hugging on the outside of my body was just inside my body a few short weeks ago.2. The color in grey is nice and subtle and sometimes when I wear this wrap, it looks like its a cool part of my outfit (not really but at least I don’t feel like i’m wearing a backpack).3. I can wear the sling all day long. When I put baby in his car seat, I hop into the driver’s seat and take off without unclipping/unwrapping/undoing anything. When I get to where I need to be, I just pop baby back in and we head off. I didn’t realize how much mobility this offers me compared to a stroller but if you don’t have one of these – you seriously need one.4. BEST thing to get baby to go to sleep. You can wear this 3 ways from what I’ve seen so far (infant hug hold, cradle hold, and baby hug hold -where the baby’s legs are dangling from the bottom). I use this in the cradle hold to get my baby to sleep and tuck him in the fabric to hold his head secure and his body snug to mine. With a few bouncy bouncy bouncies on a quick 2 minute walk, my baby is out for his nap!I love the concept of this baby carrier, which is why i gave it 5 stars. However, I am on the lookout for a cooler version of the wrap for the summer time as the material doesn’t breathe very much and after an hour walking with my son, he gets too hot and sweaty (for those of you who are trying to figure that out, when you are hot and sweaty, so is your baby because heat transfers when you are holding your baby).If you currently do not have a baby carrier and have a newborn or infant less than 12 weeks – I HIGHLY recommend the wrap. it is perfect for you and your baby and is probably easier to get him accustomed to being in this early on rather than later on.

The material of this sling is soft and my newborn feels well supported. It’s also very comfortable to wear. However- I’m 5 foot 4 and feel like the length of material is excessive. It makes it very difficult to put it on outdoors (if trying to keep the sling clean) as there is so much material. I didn’t have this issue with a previous fabric sling I’ve owned – my old one was roughly half the length. Apart from the excessive length it’s a great sling.

I got the classic boba wrap, the moby, and the serenity boba, and I loved the serenity so much that I bought two more! My baby loves being held, and the other wraps I’ve tried have fabric that doesn’t stretch as much, making it less forgiving if you tie up too tight and super easy to use. The serenity is super lightweight and stretches around your baby’s body to help them feel more comfortable. I like that it is able to support all body shapes, and I can carry baby safely and easily without back pain unless I’ve tied it too loose and she starts sagging down. Fabric seems to be good quality. My only complaint, which really applies to all wraps, is that the tighter you tie the wrap the less space you have for your baby’s face to poke out. My baby gets overheated when their face is covered, so I’ve had to pull the shoulders down a bit to help her stay comfy.

Not sure how I would survive without this. It’s my second baby and I was determined to learn how to baby wear. I watched a lot of YouTube videos and like all things you have to try it at least 10 times. I live in a warm climate so I love the bamboo bc it’s cool and it’s also stretchy. You have to wrap yourself tighter than You think so it’s not too loose. Your baby shouldn’t be sagging. I started we about 1.5 months with my baby and wish I she done it even sooner. You can get some things done at the computer, fold laundry, etc while they nap in this thing. My baby is 4 months now and she will nap on the go in it and it works well for errands (she doesn’t like the stroller. Always wrap your sled before you leave home and it gets easier and easier every time. The fabric is so soft and feels like a t-shirt. I don’t that I would wrap a 35 lb baby sill probably start using one of my carriers but thus far it’s been sturdy enough. There are so many benefits for baby and Mommy in baby wearing. Highly recommend it and wish I would have with my first!

The Boba Baby Wrap Carrier is a wonderful way to keep baby close to you while at home or in public.
Velcro baby or not, keeping your newborn close to your body is beneficial for Mama and baby, and health of both is important in those first stages of life and postpartum. My added benefit was in public, especially where I already knew people; the wrap kept even well-intentioned people at bay. Which gave me peace of mind at a time when I was anxious about taking my first infant out in public during sick season.
It’s helpful to wear around the house so you can be, at least a little, productive in those first months. I did have a Velcro baby that breastfed, so he wanted to be close even when he wasn’t feeding.
The wrap is comfortable and adjusts to pretty much any body type. I have a long torso and am very top heavy, which I thought might be a problem. However, after a few practice ties (which I did before I planned on using it to go out, so I knew what to do. And I suggest anyone using this do the same!!), I learned what best worked for my baby and my body.
Now, if you are prone to overheating, this wrap will not help that! The material is breathable, but when it gets bunched or layered because of the design, you will get warm. I made the mistake of dressing for the (very cold) weather ONE time when planning to use the Boba. After that I dressed lighter and let my little guy and the wrap warm me with a light jacket instead. It’s not a complaint just something people need to be mindful of.
It’s easy to wash, so maintenance is minimal, just throw it in with all the burp clothes you’re already washing!!
The Sage Green color is very pretty, I was getting everything in green at that time, turns out my little guy is a blue man😂
The Boba is secure, functional, and keeps baby feeling like they’re back in your belly, while being right next to your heartbeat. The Boba is wonderful 20/10 I loved it!!!

This product was great for holding up little one. It was easy to wrap him up and keep him secure while walking around in town and on vacation. Great quality for good price. Washed and folds well and maintains softness. The ONlY thing is it is very warm for you as well. This is not optimal in hot weather as you get hot with the added layers. That is a minor issue for keeping baby safe and supported though.

I got the classic boba wrap, the moby, and the serenity boba, and I loved the serenity so much that I bought two more! My baby loves being held, and the other wraps I’ve tried have fabric that doesn’t stretch as much, making it less forgiving if you tie up too tight and super easy to use. The serenity is super lightweight and stretches around your baby’s body to help them feel more comfortable. I like that it is able to support all body shapes, and I can carry baby safely and easily without back pain unless I’ve tied it too loose and she starts sagging down. Fabric seems to be good quality. My only complaint, which really applies to all wraps, is that the tighter you tie the wrap the less space you have for your baby’s face to poke out. My baby gets overheated when their face is covered, so I’ve had to pull the shoulders down a bit to help her stay comfy.

Love love love. Super easy to use (after I looked up a video on YouTube that is… Took me one try after that and now I’m like a pro), very comfortable, and baby loves it. He sleeps everywhere we go when he is carried in it. I live in a very hot environment and he wasn’t any hotter in the wrap than he would have been out of it. I actually liked that I could keep him close to me so I could keep an eye on his body temperature better than if he was in a car seat or something. We don’t have strangers trying to touch him when he is in the wrap, and the ends work as a built in burp rag to wipe his mouth if he spits up a little while I am wearing it. It is great, I can go grocery shopping or to the park with him in the wrap, and I don’t have a car seat to lug around. If he gets fussy in the wrap, I’m already holding him to comfort him so I don’t have to take him out of a car seat and lug an empty car seat around. Compared to my first baby where we carried a car seat and diaper bag around everywhere we went, this is much easier and WAY less stressful. I like the stretchy fabric because it’s definitely a one size fits all. Anyone of any size can use this wrap for their baby. It also grows with my baby, three months using it and he still fits just right. I don’t feel like it sags or doesn’t hold him well – it is completely up to you how tightly your baby is wrapped! As long as I tighten it the right amount for me and my baby before I put him in we are both secure and comfortable. Its very easy to use. I would recommend this to anyone having a baby – it really makes life with a baby much easier and comfortable, for mom and baby! I have tried other carriers and I feel like my baby is more secure in this by far.

Works great. Helps if you’re doing a lot of walking where strollers aren’t allowed. Started using it when our baby was about a month old. Feels like you’re wearing a backpack on your chest instead of your back. My wife and I love it. Takes a bit to get used to how you’re supposed to wrap it around yourself, but once you get that down it’s definitely a lot easier than carrying the baby by hand.
Now that he’s 5 months it is a bit tight in there when we use it, but so far so good.

If you’re thinking about baby wearing, do yourself a favor and buy this wrap. I’m a first time mom and I had registered for and received two different brands of expensive structured wraps. They turned out to be difficult to use and they were too big for my newborn so he ended up sitting way too low on my body and they were too long for me as I’m only 5 ft tall. I decided to purchase this wrap because I’ve got a velcro baby and I couldn’t just sit on the couch all day holding him. Once you learn how to wrap it, it’s so easy to use. I love that it’s fully adjustable since you just tie it to fit your body and baby so I can keep using it as my baby grows. The material is super stretchy so it’s easy to stretch the fabric around my baby to get him into the carrier without having to bend any of his limbs in an awkward angle and it doesn’t lose that elasticity throughout each wear so hes never sagging and I can always kiss the top of his head. It’s easy to travel with because it’s literally just fabric so I can roll it up in the diaper bag and baby wear outside the house. I love that I can just throw it in the washer when it’s dirty and this thing gets dirty because I can’t even put my baby down to eat! I also dont experience any back pain with this wrap because the weight of my baby is evenly distributed through my shoulders and around my waist. My only issue is that my shoulders are narrow and the straps slip towards my neck so I have to fold the fabric inwards around my baby’s face so its not covering his nose. This is the best money I have spent and it’s been a lifesaver. I wear the boba wrap every single day for probably 75% of the day and it allows me to get things done around the house and take care of myself too. This is the #1 purchase I’d recommend for any new moms. Now if only I could convince my husband to learn how to use it too!

I was only able to use this baby carrier until my son was 3 months old. While it could still support his weight, I had to tie it quite tight so he wouldn’t sag that it wasn’t great for summer because we were pressed against each other so firmly that I would get overheated and sweaty in between us and he would fuss to get out. For the price, this carrier was absolutely worth it during the time I used it with my baby, as it allowed me to be hands free but still close to him all day. I plan on using this with my next baby too!

I love this product. My son loves it too, cause he gets to be all over the place with me, and being up in the mix with his nosey self. He cooks with me. Cleans the house with me. We go for walks or to families houses and we love it.
The material on the outside feels a lot softer than the inside so I always make sure he’s at least wearing a onesie. The material is like medium thick but stretchy. You do get kinda warm in it especially if you’re moving around a lot or walking around. Right now it’s midsummer so it’s pretty warm.
Not sure if other moms can or do but I cannot pump while he’s in it. So if you feed right off the chest it could possibly work for you. But it’s a great way to get some extra skin to skin with your little one.
My man had been gifted the holder from momcozy, and I love their products but that one… my baby and I do not like and this one triumphs it. Plus it’s way more comfortable and more adjustable. It’s even easy to adjust if your baby is being carried in it already.
If you want to move around, and get some Housework done while having your baby close or let them nap on you, you need this product

If you’re thinking about baby wearing, do yourself a favor and buy this wrap. I’m a first time mom and I had registered for and received two different brands of expensive structured wraps. They turned out to be difficult to use and they were too big for my newborn so he ended up sitting way too low on my body and they were too long for me as I’m only 5 ft tall. I decided to purchase this wrap because I’ve got a velcro baby and I couldn’t just sit on the couch all day holding him. Once you learn how to wrap it, it’s so easy to use. I love that it’s fully adjustable since you just tie it to fit your body and baby so I can keep using it as my baby grows. The material is super stretchy so it’s easy to stretch the fabric around my baby to get him into the carrier without having to bend any of his limbs in an awkward angle and it doesn’t lose that elasticity throughout each wear so hes never sagging and I can always kiss the top of his head. It’s easy to travel with because it’s literally just fabric so I can roll it up in the diaper bag and baby wear outside the house. I love that I can just throw it in the washer when it’s dirty and this thing gets dirty because I can’t even put my baby down to eat! I also dont experience any back pain with this wrap because the weight of my baby is evenly distributed through my shoulders and around my waist. My only issue is that my shoulders are narrow and the straps slip towards my neck so I have to fold the fabric inwards around my baby’s face so its not covering his nose. This is the best money I have spent and it’s been a lifesaver. I wear the boba wrap every single day for probably 75% of the day and it allows me to get things done around the house and take care of myself too. This is the #1 purchase I’d recommend for any new moms. Now if only I could convince my husband to learn how to use it too!

I was only able to use this baby carrier until my son was 3 months old. While it could still support his weight, I had to tie it quite tight so he wouldn’t sag that it wasn’t great for summer because we were pressed against each other so firmly that I would get overheated and sweaty in between us and he would fuss to get out. I initially purchased the Balboa baby sling from BuyBuyBaby (my other favorite baby gear store) but returned it within one week because I hated it because my baby hated it! But after failing at one of those pre-made slings, I had to try something that I could make on my own and women had been using for centuries to carry their little ones.So I did a little bit of research on wraps and slings and narrowed it down to this or the Moby wrap from Babyz Corner. I don’t remember what I saw that made me select the Boba over the Moby (price maybe) but I went with this. So far this product is amazing! I didn’t realize how much mobility this offers me compared to a stroller but if you don’t have one of these – you seriously need one.4. BEST thing to get baby to go to sleep. You can wear this 3 ways from what I’ve seen so far (infant hug hold, cradle hold, and baby hug hold -where the baby’s legs are dangling from the bottom). I use this in the cradle hold to get my baby to sleep and tuck him in the fabric to hold his head secure and his body snug to mine. With a few bouncy bouncy bouncies on a quick 2 minute walk, my baby is out for his nap!I love the concept of this baby carrier, which is why i gave it 5 stars. However, I am on the lookout for a cooler version of the wrap for the summer time as the material doesn’t breathe very much and after an hour walking with my son, he gets too hot and sweaty (for those of you who are trying to figure that out, when you are hot and sweaty, so is your baby because heat transfers when you are holding your baby).If you currently do not have a baby carrier and have a newborn or infant less than 12 weeks – I HIGHLY recommend the wrap. it is perfect for you and your baby and is probably easier to get him accustomed to being in this early on rather than later on.

I was skeptical about buying this because it looked confusing to use. Now, it was still a small challenge to start out but pretty easy to figure out. I actually love this item because I had another carrier and it rubbed on the back of my arms and there just wasn’t much room for baby. I am on the heavier side and heavier chested and this carrier worked perfect. Its very snug and stretchy and baby boy loves this carrier much more! It gives pretty good back support as well. It’s not the easiest thing to put on and take off. I had to watch the videos a few times to figure it out. I still don’t know how to breastfeed in it. The material is soft but everything clings to it making it look dirty. But my newborn definitely likes to be carried in it. I love this product. My son loves it too, cause he gets to be all over the place with me, and being up in the mix with his nosey self. He cooks with me. Cleans the house with me. We go for walks or to families houses and we love it.
The material on the outside feels a lot softer than the inside so I always make sure he’s at least wearing a onesie. The material is like medium thick but stretchy. You do get kinda warm in it especially if you’re moving around a lot or walking around. Right now it’s midsummer so it’s pretty warm.
Not sure if other moms can or do but I cannot pump while he’s in it. So if you feed right off the chest it could possibly work for you. But it’s a great way to get some extra skin to skin with your little one.
My man had been gifted the holder from momcozy, and I love their products but that one… my baby and I do not like and this one triumphs it. Plus it’s way more comfortable and more adjustable. It’s even easy to adjust if your baby is being carried in it already.
If you want to move around, and get some Housework done while having your baby close or let them nap on you, you need this product

I got the classic boba wrap, the moby, and the serenity boba, and I loved the serenity so much that I bought two more! My baby loves being held, and the other wraps I’ve tried have fabric that doesn’t stretch as much, making it less forgiving if you tie up too tight and super easy to use. The serenity is super lightweight and stretches around your baby’s body to help them feel more comfortable. I like that it is able to support all body shapes, and I can carry baby safely and easily without back pain unless I’ve tied it too loose and she starts sagging down. Fabric seems to be good quality. My only complaint, which really applies to all wraps, is that the tighter you tie the wrap the less space you have for your baby’s face to poke out. My baby gets overheated when their face is covered, so I’ve had to pull the shoulders down a bit to help her stay comfy.

I purchased this wrap out of desperation when my 6 week old baby from one day to another stopped being able to nap in his cosleeper. He was awake for 5-6-7 hours, couldn’t fall asleep anywhere though we tried everything from rocking to sleep, pacifier, white noise, swaddle, sleeping in the buggy, car etc.
This wrap arrived one afternoon and I was dead exhausted from trying to get my little baby to sleep for hours and him just being overtired from not sleeping. I immediately put the wrap on, put my son in it and within half a minute he was asleep! I couldn’t believe it. First I thought he was just so tired that he would have slept anywhere but the wrap kept working like magic. It quickly became our default nap place for the baby. For 3 and a half months, he did practically all his naps in here!!
It is really an amazing product! So easy to use, both me and my husband put it on with ease after one practice. It’s also super comfy for the baby (in contrast to more structured carriers – we also had the Tula but as a newborn, our son didn’t find ut comfy enough to sleep in it). I loved that we could basically put the baby to sleep anywhere because we just brought the wrap everywhere. Initially i was afraid that if we keep using it for naps, he will start to demand it at night but no, he remained an easy cosleeper sleeper for the nights.
Now that he is 5 months old we are transitioning back to cosleeper naps, he is now ready for that and goes down without problems. I already miss our wrap snuggles, it is really such a special way to help your little bebe to sleep. The boba wrap was the best baby purchase we did!

I had a problem with other wraps making baby too hot, so I opted for the serenity bamboo wrap. Problem solved! Material is light and breathable. Baby does not overheat! I’ve also had a problem with other wraps hurting my back, but the material on this one spreads well to distribute weight so no back pain! I use baby wraps regularly and have yet to own this one 1 month, so we’ll see how the material holds up over time. So far so good! The only con so far is the spandex in the wrap. I’m torn because it allows baby to be positioned well and move fluidly. However, when wearing baby for an hour or more, baby will steadily sink lower and lower. I tie the wrap as the instructions detail but am wondering if there’s another way to tie it that mitigates that. Overall good wrap, just wish baby maintained his position over time.

My 23lb baby loves to be held, and I’ve tried multiple carriers without much luck—until I found this wrap! I had avoided wraps in the past because I didn’t want to deal with complicated tying and assembly. I previously tried the Boba wrap with straps and found it super uncomfortable. I also have the Tushbaby, which works for quick trips but puts a lot of strain on my back and still requires one arm to support my baby.
I’ve owned two other strap-style carriers that have been sitting untouched for over 8 months. I honestly thought I’d just have to live with sore arms and a tired back—until now.

I have worn this carrier at least once a day since my daughter was born 6 months ago. It is so easy and cozy. It is a must have for me. The fabric is firm but soft, has a good amount of stretch and breathability. It feels incredibly secure can comfortable. I have several baby carriers but after my c-section this wrap is one of the few ways I could wear my baby that did not put pressure on my abdomen. This wrap goes on sale constantly… keep out and snag it when it is a couple bucks off.

I had tried a wrap with my 2nd baby 10yrs ago and I never got the hang of it (was not boba) but I was determined to try again. It could not have been more easy. My baby is so happy in the boba and it’s so comfortable for us both. I wear it daily around the house and we go on 3-4 mile walks and he usually sleeps the whole time. I get a lot of comments and compliments and people have stopped to ask me about it. The only thing that is a downside is nothing about the functionality itself but rather the fact that it’s like 20ft of fabric so it’s not the most convenient to slap on when you’re out and about. If I know I’ll be wearing baby once we get to our destination, I’ll put it on at home in front of the mirror right before we leave. I also have gotten the hang of putting it on in the car, which is preferable to outside of the car so that it doesn’t touch the ground. It’s always neatly folded in my diaper bag backpack if I’m not wearing it, I don’t leave home without it. I almost bought the black so that it goes with everything but the grey color was so appealing to me in the stock photos and I’d say the stock photos represent the true grey color well. It’s a really nice neutral warm grey that works really well with my wardrobe and I think the wrap looks very chic. It’s affordable and such a good option for baby wearing.

Love this pattern! Bought this for my 3rd baby and love it. The stretch is great; it has a very cozy feel to it but doesn’t sag over time and stays nice and snug so baby is secure and cozy! Also makes a huge difference on your back to have a secure wrap that doesn’t sag.
That material is a little on the warmer side so would definitely recommend for colder weather but might be a little warm for the summer months.

If you’re thinking about baby wearing, do yourself a favor and buy this wrap. I’m a first time mom and I had registered for and received two different brands of expensive structured wraps. They turned out to be difficult to use and they were too big for my newborn so he ended up sitting way too low on my body and they were too long for me as I’m only 5 ft tall. I decided to purchase this wrap because I’ve got a velcro baby and I couldn’t just sit on the couch all day holding him. Once you learn how to wrap it, it’s so easy to use. I love that it’s fully adjustable since you just tie it to fit your body and baby so I can keep using it as my baby grows. The material is super stretchy so it’s easy to stretch the fabric around my baby to get him into the carrier without having to bend any of his limbs in an awkward angle and it doesn’t lose that elasticity throughout each wear so hes never sagging and I can always kiss the top of his head. It’s easy to travel with because it’s literally just fabric so I can roll it up in the diaper bag and baby wear outside the house. I love that I can just throw it in the washer when it’s dirty and this thing gets dirty because I can’t even put my baby down to eat! I also dont experience any back pain with this wrap because the weight of my baby is evenly distributed through my shoulders and around my waist. My only issue is that my shoulders are narrow and the straps slip towards my neck so I have to fold the fabric inwards around my baby’s face so its not covering his nose. This is the best money I have spent and it’s been a lifesaver. I wear the boba wrap every single day for probably 75% of the day and it allows me to get things done around the house and take care of myself too. This is the #1 purchase I’d recommend for any new moms. Now if only I could convince my husband to learn how to use it too!

I was only able to use this baby carrier until my son was 3 months old. While it could still support his weight, I had to tie it quite tight so he wouldn’t sag that it wasn’t great for summer because we were pressed against each other so firmly that I would get overheated and sweaty in between us and he would fuss to get out. For the price, this carrier was absolutely worth it during the time I used it with my baby, as it allowed me to be hands free but still close to him all day. I plan on using this with my next baby too!

This type of wrap is great for the newborn stage and makes it easier to do things around the house (if you choose to)
It’s made of a really thick fabric so not the most ideal for summer or warmer climates. Items fairly easy to unwrap and rewrap once you’ve done it a few times but if you’re looking for something to do faster, I’d just get a premade wrap or sling.

I love this product. My son loves it too, cause he gets to be all over the place with me, and being up in the mix with his nosey self. He cooks with me. Cleans the house with me. We go for walks or to families houses and we love it.
The material on the outside feels a lot softer than the inside so I always make sure he’s at least wearing a onesie. The material is like medium thick but stretchy. You do get kinda warm in it especially if you’re moving around a lot or walking around. Right now it’s midsummer so it’s pretty warm.
Not sure if other moms can or do but I cannot pump while he’s in it. So if you feed right off the chest it could possibly work for you. But it’s a great way to get some extra skin to skin with your little one.
My man had been gifted the holder from momcozy, and I love their products but that one… my baby and I do not like and this one triumphs it. Plus it’s way more comfortable and more adjustable. It’s even easy to adjust if your baby is being carried in it already.
If you want to move around, and get some Housework done while having your baby close or let them nap on you, you need this product

My 23lb baby loves to be held, and I’ve tried multiple carriers without much luck—until I found this wrap! I had avoided wraps in the past because I didn’t want to deal with complicated tying and assembly. I previously tried the Boba wrap with straps and found it super uncomfortable. I also have the Tushbaby, which works for quick trips but puts a lot of strain on my back and still requires one arm to support my baby.
I’ve owned two other strap-style carriers that have been sitting untouched for over 8 months. I honestly thought I’d just have to live with sore arms and a tired back—until now.

I had a problem with other wraps making baby too hot, so I opted for the serenity bamboo wrap. Problem solved! Material is light and breathable. Baby does not overheat! I’ve also had a problem with other wraps hurting my back, but the material on this one spreads well to distribute weight so no back pain! I use baby wraps regularly and have yet to own this one 1 month, so we’ll see how the material holds up over time. So far so good! The only con so far is the spandex in the wrap. I’m torn because it allows baby to be positioned well and move fluidly. However, when wearing baby for an hour or more, baby will steadily sink lower and lower. I tie the wrap as the instructions detail but am wondering if there’s another way to tie it that mitigates that. Overall good wrap, just wish baby maintained his position over time.

I was skeptical about buying this because it looked confusing to use. Now, it was still a small challenge to start out but pretty easy to figure out. I actually love this item because I had another carrier and it rubbed on the back of my arms and there just wasn’t much room for baby. I am on the heavier side and heavier chested and this carrier worked perfect. Its very snug and stretchy and baby boy loves this carrier much more! It gives pretty good back support as well. The material seems decent quality. I know this will be a daily use!

I initially purchased the Balboa baby sling from BuyBuyBaby (my other favorite baby gear store) but returned it within one week because I hated it because my baby hated it! The sling was difficult to get right for my then 6 week old who was too young to put in that contraption – no matter how tight I made the sling (which for those of you who have tried it, once you make it that tight to fit a tiny tiny person, it is extremely difficult to get off – especially when your baby is wailing!) I tried that thing a few times during that week but I never felt comfortable that no matter what I was doing, my baby was breathing properly and that it was safe. So I returned it.I initially did NOT want a long wrap with lots and lots of fabric that I had to figure out what to do with. Not to mention that I was uncomfortable with the thought that the fabric might unravel and that I might drop my baby! But after failing at one of those pre-made slings, I had to try something that I could make on my own and women had been using for centuries to carry their little ones.So I did a little bit of research on wraps and slings and narrowed it down to this or the Moby wrap from Babyz Corner. I don’t remember what I saw that made me select the Boba over the Moby (price maybe) but I went with this. So far this product is amazing! This is my favorite item next to my baby’s car seat, here’s why:1. I can hold my baby super close to my heart and chest giving both me and my baby lots of comfort. I didn’t realize how much I missed having that close connection with my baby during my pregnancy until I wore him in this for a couple of weeks and remembered that this little guy that i was hugging on the outside of my body was just inside my body a few short weeks ago.2. The color in grey is nice and subtle and sometimes when I wear this wrap, it looks like its a cool part of my outfit (not really but at least I don’t feel like i’m wearing a backpack).3. I can wear the sling all day long. When I put baby in his car seat, I hop into the driver’s seat and take off without unclipping/unwrapping/undoing anything. When I get to where I need to be, I just pop baby back in and we head off. I didn’t realize how much mobility this offers me compared to a stroller but if you don’t have one of these – you seriously need one.4. BEST thing to get baby to go to sleep. You can wear this 3 ways from what I’ve seen so far (infant hug hold, cradle hold, and baby hug hold -where the baby’s legs are dangling from the bottom). I use this in the cradle hold to get my baby to sleep and tuck him in the fabric to hold his head secure and his body snug to mine. With a few bouncy bouncy bouncies on a quick 2 minute walk, my baby is out for his nap!I love the concept of this baby carrier, which is why i gave it 5 stars. However, I am on the lookout for a cooler version of the wrap for the summer time as the material doesn’t breathe very much and after an hour walking with my son, he gets too hot and sweaty (for those of you who are trying to figure that out, when you are hot and sweaty, so is your baby because heat transfers when you are holding your baby).If you currently do not have a baby carrier and have a newborn or infant less than 12 weeks – I HIGHLY recommend the wrap. it is perfect for you and your baby and is probably easier to get him accustomed to being in this early on rather than later on.

Recently while pregnant with my 4th baby I bought the new version of the Ergo carrier I faithfully used with my first 3 children. It felt very stiff and not as comfortable as I remembered. Once this baby was born I tried to use it a couple times and both my baby and I hated it. I needed to try something else and decided on the Boba wrap. I had tried a wrap with my 2nd baby 10yrs ago and I never got the hang of it (was not boba) but I was determined to try again. It could not have been more easy. My baby is so happy in the boba and it’s so comfortable for us both. I wear it daily around the house and we go on 3-4 mile walks and he usually sleeps the whole time. I get a lot of comments and compliments and people have stopped to ask me about it. The only thing that is a downside is nothing about the functionality itself but rather the fact that it’s like 20ft of fabric so it’s not the most convenient to slap on when you’re out and about. If I know I’ll be wearing baby once we get to our destination, I’ll put it on at home in front of the mirror right before we leave. I also have gotten the hang of putting it on in the car, which is preferable to outside of the car so that it doesn’t touch the ground. It’s always neatly folded in my diaper bag backpack if I’m not wearing it, I don’t leave home without it. I almost bought the black so that it goes with everything but the grey color was so appealing to me in the stock photos and I’d say the stock photos represent the true grey color well. It’s a really nice neutral warm grey that works really well with my wardrobe and I think the wrap looks very chic. It’s affordable and such a good option for baby wearing.

So I wanted a wrap to accommodate baby of c but also my tatas ♀️ the stretch is great, and the length of wrap ensures its size inclusive. Baby fell asleep in it on the first successful wrap, that being said video tutorials are your friend. Easy to follow instructions via YouTube made this a breeze.

Currently have a 7 week old along with a 22 month old. Newborn is quite fussy and toddler needs to be entertained. I bought this wrap instead of Solly because of the price. This wrap has saved us! Very comfortable. Love snuggling with baby while being hands free. Highly recommend! It does get a little loose after a couple wears. Just make sure to have snug fit and also throw in dryer. Washes well. I bought the Sangria and Grey. The grey is a little more grey green but still works for us. Started baby wearing week 1. She likes the wrap instead of structured carrier for now. Recommend putting baby in wrap/carrier every day to try to get baby used to it.

Not sure, maybe I’m crazy, but I’ve watched videos on how to wrap my baby etc and I can barely get the fabric that was sent around my body much less wrap a baby in. Super disappointed as I was excited to use these.

High quality material. This is such a cozy wrap not only for my newborn but for me as well. Instructions make this very easy to figure out and once you do it a couple of times, it becomes a second nature. This was perfect for doing dishes or chores around the house with a newborn. Stores very well as well.

It’s a lot of fabric thats thick. I felt smothered with the baby. She would cry putting her in it was very tight and hot. Better for a cold weather place not for the summer especially postpartum when having hot flashes. It is stretchy. I ordered a grey however it always looked like a green color. It didnt feel supported from the back , baby felt like she was hanging down after a while.

I’ve attempted to use other baby wraps, but this one beats the other two brands I’ve tried! It was easier to put on, and felt like baby was in like a glove while wearing him. I didn’t have to adjust baby the entire time I wore him due to sturdiness of fabric. Great value for the price! 10/10 recommend!

I will make an edit once I get the chance to actually use it; my baby is not yet here I still have 4 weeks to go. I have loved the idea of using wraps to baby wear for a VERY long time, and now that I’m going to have a little one I finally was able to buy one justifiably.
One of my aunts got me a different company, so I will be comparing the two.
This one, right off the bat you can tell is made with care. It came specially wrapped in a box with the company name. Folded nice and neat with a card with instructions on use sitting right on top. You flip over the first layer and there are two more cards. One is safety reminders not only of how to wear your baby, but instructing on how to prevent closed airways. And the second is a card that has their mission statement and a thank you for purchasing. Inside attached to the tag is a registration card for recall and warranty information.
I bought the Sangria wrap, and the color is just gorgeous. It’s more vibrant than the picture implies, but that’s a good thing. It’s super soft and lightweight despite the amount of fabric involved. I’m really excited to try it.
The other one (I don’t remember the name of the company, it was a $22ish one I added to my registry as I knew family would be unlikely to buy the more expensive brand. It’s gray and very comfortable to wrap. Light cotton jersey kind of material. It has the instructions printed on one end sewn to the fabric, and a tag that marks the center for where to place it when wrapping. It came with a drawstring bag for protection.
I am definitely more impressed at this stage with the boba wrap. I will add to my review once my daughter is here and I can do more than try either on. (I will also be editing to add the name of the company for the second wrap I got)
Edit: I have used this twice so far (4 weeks old now), and I have to say I absolutely love it. My recommendation though is to baby wear either with just the diaper or with a lightweight like gerber onesie without sleeves or legs. All the layers of cloth made her very warm to the touch. But keep in mind where you are…it’s currently January in Southern California for me. I would assume Minnesota or Alaska you would need many more layers than that.
It supports her weight perfectly and makes it super easy to do things like eating. I love this wrap. I have not yet tried the other brand (jeroray or something like that) I got.

I used four different carriers for my baby: a Baby K’Tan, this Boba Wrap, an Ergo Baby, and a Lillebaby. Here are the pros and cons of each:
First, the Baby K’Tan. I tried this one first and loved it for my newborn. The main advantage to the K’Tan is that it is sort of a Boba or Moby Wrap for Dummies: easier to put on, and made of less stretchy fabric. This held my baby snugly to my chest, and this was the ONLY way she would nap most afternoons. I spent a lot of time with her in this! The fabric does stretch out eventually, but I simply put the K’tan in the washer and through the dryer on high heat, and it went back to its original size. Cons: The K’Tan is sized, so unless you want to buy two (or you are the same size), your partner wont’ be able to use it. As my baby got heavier, we needed a carrier my husband could use, too. Also ,the support strap ties in back, and this is uncomfortable if you want to wear the carrier while sitting (for example, on a long airplane flight).
Second, the Boba Wrap. This was the second carrier I bought. I love the soft, stretchy, thick fabric–much better feeling than a Moby. Also, the wrap ties in front so there is no knot in the back when you are sitting. Unlike the K’Tan, this one requires you to figure out how to wrap and tie, and it is a bit of a learning curve. However, the plus side was that my husband could use this, too. Now that my baby is over 6 months old, though, we mostly use the Lillebaby as it is more supportive and distributes her weight better.
Third, the Ergo Baby. We ended up returning this one. For one, the infant insert just did not work out for us. Every time my husband tried this, the baby would start crying and fussing. For a newborn, it is definitely better to use a stretchy wrap like the Boba or K’Tan.
Finally, the Lillebaby. This is the carrier we are currently using for our 7 month old. It supports her weight well, allows for multiple positions (including outward facing, which she now prefers), and does not require her to dangle from her crotch (as a Bjorn does). But this would not have been as comfy for her as a newborn.
Overall, if you plan to get two carriers, I’d recommend the Boba (for an infant) and the Lillebaby for a larger baby.

I was sceptical about this wrap being any better than another one I bought. When I opened the box and felt the material I was impressed at the density but didn’t think it was all that stretchy. However, my mind was changed out of necessity. My little one spitup all over the first one I’d bought and so I had to use this one; it’s absolutely brilliant.
My previous one was not stretchy at all and it was very hard to get tight, there was always loose bits and I felt the baby was slipping more. With this she feels snug and firmly wrapped. The material is dense and soft and I love the colour (sangria). All in all, _very_ pleasantly surprised

This wrap is one of the easiest to use, the stretch in this material makes it very easy to get your baby properly wrapped in, and personally, my baby enjoys the little bounce that this wrap provides when I’m wearing her. The only reason this isn’t a 5 star review is because the wrap is a thicker material, and depending on the climate, it could get hot for the parent and baby. I also have the Sollybaby wrap and this one is easier to use, although if this one was made a bit thinner, it would be the best wrap hands down. This is great for small babies too, since mine was too small for some of the other baby wrap carriers out there.

Idk how I would have survived without this. I had both of my kids in it all the time when they were small and was able to be hands free to get stuff done around the house. Nice stretchy comfy material.Once you watch/learn how to tie it, it’s so simple and adjustable.Once they hit a certain age/ weight, i found it was more difficult to use those sling since it wouldn’t fit their bodies as well anymore not being a newborn or a few months old.Highly recommend!!!!
