  1. Melissa

I was looking for a baby carrier for my Velcro Baby, so I would be able to use 2 hands to do stuff around the house and for certain outings. With my first son I had the K-Tan, which was nice, but my neck and back would start to hurt pretty soon after putting it on. I needed something I could wear for longer periods this time. After doing a ton of research, I purchased the Ergo Embrace.

    Pros:
*This carrier is very easy to use. I can put it
on and get my son in it securly by myself.
    *It is highly adjustable.
    *It is comfortable to
wear for long periods of time.
    *It is lightweight and portable.
    *Decent price point.
    *Nice color
    *Machine Washable

    Cons:
*Not good for long term use because it only goes up to 25 pounds, but I’ve heard it gets harder to wear once baby hits 15 pounds.
*When my baby is very small he could rest his head on the back of the carrier, but as he grew this wasn’t an option anymore and he could only rest his head on me, so I’ve had to be more vigilant of where his head is and make sure I have my hand on it if I’m bending down.
*While it is very portable it doesn’t fold up nice or come with a carrying bag.

Overall, I would highly recommend this carrier.

  2. Igor

This is my favorite carrier for baby and i’ve tried a few. Comfortable and I love the color. Easy to use and buckle baby by myself. Baby is comfortable in it. And it feels sturdy and safe. Great carrier for good price.

  3. Bayli Anderson

Tecido macio e resistente. Muito prático de colocar, boa ergonomia e sustentação cervical para o bebê. Minha filha está com 1 mês e por enquanto só tenho elogios.

  4. Lauren Holden

Material is soft and comfortable however it is really hard to get baby in the right position. There is not enough room in the seat for his butt to go lower than his knees creating the “M” shape that babies should have. Also where the straps buckle in pulls against his back so his back can’t arch slightly forward. Lastly the straps don’t stay tight and loosen in the first 10-15mins of wearing him. For context, I have 2 other carriers that my husband and I use for outings outside the house but I bought this one looking for a softer and comfier option around the house to keep my baby off of his back. I would not order this one again.

We live in this carrier. Very soft but firm fabric, infinitely adjustable, great neck support for a newborn, and with the crossed soft straps on the back it has great back and shoulder support for mom or dad. It is crazy easy to use, and offers amazing comfort for parent and baby. Great “M” positioning for recommended ergonomic baby wearing. My 3 month old daughter has all her daytime naps in it, and has done so pretty much from her second week onward. It folds up really small, so it fits in the diaper bag. Also, if you’re breastfeeding this thing is amazing. You can loosen the straps, push baby off to one side and lower to nurse them, then switch sides. I can nurse her hands free while emptying the dishwasher or playing a game with my son, or even pumping on the other side, and when she passes out and unlatches, I can lift her by her bottom, tighten the side straps and she naps on my chest. For comparison, I also own and have regularly used ring slings, wraps, stretchy wraps, the original ergo and mei tai carriers with both my children – but this one is my favourite for ease of use and comfort.

  6. Erika

This is 90% a great infant carrier – with some drawbacks.
    The good:
This is a comfortable carrier, both for my back and for the baby. Three guest time I used it the baby napped for two hours and I did not have any back pain afterwards. It is, as advertised, soft and folds up small. The baby (3 weeks old) was well-supported and felt secure.
    The bad:
This carrier is hot and not great for hot or humid weather. Compared with other carriers (ktan, ring sling, lillebaby) it is difficult to breastfeed with the baby in the carrier – her face ends up kind of squished to the side. It is also hard to adjust the waist start for breastfeeding when the baby is in the carrier and the rolled up strapn ends are uncomfortable – it would be better if it was possible to tuck them in. It would definitely be nice if the carrier had a sun shade for the baby’s head and even a small pocket for phone and keys. And last – while the fabric and straps seem good quality, there were a lot of loose threads on the seams, which I don’t expect with a $100 carrier.

  7. Carrie Lemons

Es suave, de buena calidad y fácil de guardar. Ayuda mucho a la espalda. Me parece que se adapta mejor a bebés desde recién nacidos como hasta los 5 meses.

  8. Bayli Anderson

The carrier is excellent, very soft and extremely comfortable for the baby.
Also a great back support, I can wear it for longer stretches of time. Love the product.
The only note if you live in a hot climate it might be a bit hot for the baby as the fabric makes them or warm and snug, so make sure it is not too hot for the baby.

  9. Anna

    Buena calidad, bonito

  10. Igor

This is the best baby carrier I have ever used- the fabric is great quality and soft. Plus it’s one of the view structured carriers that is safe for newborns. Baby has to be at least 7 lbs to use safely. We love it! I can breastfeed in it easily due to the stretchiness of the fabric. It is easy to put on by myself and I walked far in it and had no back pain. Highly recommend to anyone with a newborn! I’m 5ft 2 in and it works well for my dimensions. Also the style is pretty cute rather than some of those ugly bulky carriers.

  11. Erdem

Super comfortable and easy to put on. My son loved it and fell asleep instantly.

  12. Erika

My grandson has been able to use this for almost a year! This holds him securely and can be put on easily by myself. It buckles nice and strong, and has lots of room to grow. It is very comfortable since it has the wide shoulder straps and distributes his weight nicely.

  13. N.Mac

I have tried a few different carriers, this is by far my favorite. The hybrid of being a carrier and a wrap is a dream. The fit is snug and comfortable. I will say when I first put my 20 lb 6 month old forward facing, it did leave bruises on his legs. You have to get it just right! With my firstborn, I had the ergo360. He was 10lbs when he came out and when I say carrying him in the 360 killed my hips, I mean it. Anytime I would do a hike, within 35 minutes I was hurting. This carrier is a game changer and never hurts! Its extremely easy to get on and off by myself- even my fiance can do it on himself. I had my second son in February so I went with the regular material instead of the breathable. It isn’t terrible in the summer, but I sometimes wish I had done the mesh. I have breastfed numerous times while hiking and having my baby laying on my chest without anyone noticing. Functionality is great. The value is WELL WORTH THE MONEY! I bought one of the girls I work with one for her baby shower present! 5 ✰✰✰✰✰

  14. L Jackman

A great alternative to those wrap around carriers (the ones with miles of fabric that you have to twist and tie yourself). This is super easy to put on by yourself. It’s breathable and lightweight. It’s also easy to clean. Would buy again in a heartbeat as it’s well worth the extra money compared to some cheaper carriers. Fit my baby from birth (7lb) and still going strong (9-10lbs, 22″ tall). Not sure how long we’ll be able to use it once she’s taller though.

  15. Yuliya Kuklina

Purchased it as a gift for my friend, it was from the registry. She said she chose this because of the quality and fabric, it is also adjustable as the baby grows.

  16. Ibreedathletes

This item is very soft and sturdy, however it was not good for holding a baby head.

  17. Susan Grahn

This is the only carrier that I have been able to figure out how to use. It’s simple and it’s secure. I don’t feel like my baby is going to slip out or go anywhere. He is comfortable and happy in it. It’s pretty easy to put on. It even has directions right on the carrier in case you ever forget or lose the instructions.

  18. Chelsea

Baby will outgrow soon but so easy to use and comfy for her.

  19. Babyz Corner Customer

I don’t understand how this is comfortable. It either pulls on the neck or it caps your shoulders and you can move your arms. It needs a buckle or something for the cross on the back to keep it from riding up to your neck

  20. Abby

Better off paying a little bit more and getting an actual structure carrier. This one does not offer good back and shoulder support.

  21. Elise

I don’t normally write reviews, but this is my second Ergobaby carrier and I could not be happier. We have the Omni360 which works super well for our older child, but this is the best option for newborns. It’s as soft and comfy as our baby wrap but is far more supportive and way easier to put on. My newborn takes almost all her naps in this carrier- knocks her out every time! We love it. Washes well too 🙂

  22. Ellery Smith

This has by far been the best bang for my buck. I use this everyday multiple times a day for my velcro baby. He instantly stops crying. It’s comfy for both of us, super user friendly and great for moving about. With other carriers I always felt like I was wearing a weight vest or something but this one feels super light, breezy and comfortable. Definitely 10/10 recommend, especially for those with a “Velcro baby”

  23. Roshni K.

I’m a first time mom to a newborn who doesn’t like to sleep during the day. This carrier is one of the few things that instantly soothes him to sleep when he’s overtired and fussy. He goes from scream crying to sleeping within a minute — it’s amazing and a lifesaver! And as a first time mom I appreciate how simple it is to put on and wear without any assistance, and I’m able to move around and still get things done. Highly recommend for little newborns who want to be close to you for contact naps!

  25. Erin Sowders

This carrier is pretty comfortable with my newborn, now 4 month old. I’ve gotten a lot of cleaning accomplished while baby wearing, with this carrier.

  26. Molly J

This is hands down my favorite carrier! I have the ergo 360 and I love this one for the early months. It’s so easy to use solo. Very comfortable. The baby always looked comfortable. And I love the fabric and coliur choices. I went with soft olive. I’m obsessed with this carrier and wish I had it for my first 2 kids.

I wish they made this for older kids with more sturdy fabric because I love the crisscross straps.

  27. Veronica

While the wrap is soft and comfortable to wear myself, my baby sits lopsided due to uneven sewing. One of the buckles was also sewn on upside down.
Baby seems to sag and doesn’t seem comfortable

  28. Ahlayne

I wish I had this carrier 2 kids ago. It’s not bulky, it’s sleek, so comfortable and easy to get on and off. I like baby wearing my newborn and this gives you the snug feeling and sleek profile of a wrap without the extra 5 min of wrapping. This carrier is also perfect and better than a wrap because it gives you that closeness allowing you to breastfeed in this with an easy readjustment after. Readjusting my wrap after breastfeeding was a nightmare. I had to completely take it off some times. Breastfeeding takes up a lot of time so it’s nice being able to walk around and use one hand to eat

  29. Austin

I have tried just about every carrier and sling on the market. This is by far the comfiest and easiest to use. It doesn’t feel like my baby is slipping through a sling and isn’t bulky like many carriers. The fabric is EXTREMELY soft and buttery and yet very strong. GREAT quality. The carrier holds my baby well with excellent support. She just turned 2 months.
