With a newborn in the house, we were quickly overwhelmed by the sheer volume of projectile spit-up, surprise pees, and those next-level poops. It’s impressive, honestly and I’m proud of my baby boy. That’s why these muslin burp cloths have become one of our most-used baby items — we’ve already bought three boxes and scattered them throughout the house like emergency supplies.
What I Like:
These cloths are incredibly soft and super absorbent — they soak up messes quickly without feeling too thin or flimsy. The size is perfect for burping, wiping, and even using as a makeshift bib or towel in a pinch. They drape comfortably over the shoulder and feel gentle against our baby’s skin. I also appreciate the neutral colors — they’re subtle, modern, and look nice even when tossed on a couch or bed. They wash well and don’t require any special laundry care, which is a huge bonus when you’re already doing endless loads.
What I Don’t Like:
The only real issue we’ve had is that they’re vulnerable to velcro. One accidental pass through the laundry with a velcro swaddle or bib, and threads get pulled easily. Also, they will shrink a bit if you dry them on high heat.
Helpful Tips:
1. Dry on medium heat instead of high to prevent shrinkage and keep the fabric soft.
2. Keep them away from velcro — it clings to these like a magnet and will damage the fabric.
3. You can wet one, wring it out, and use it as a soft, reusable wipe for more stubborn cleanups.
4. Keep multiple in different rooms so you’re never caught without one in an emergency.

These are the best burp cloths! I wish I had these with my first 2 boys. They are absorbent and much larger/ longer than other brands I’ve tried. They are soft and get softer after washing. The colors don’t bleed either (I’ve bought 3 different colors). I will say I’ve noticed soft strings coming out of them, but they aren’t falling apart. These are great for when baby decides to puke in your bra or pee all over during a diaper change!

I love these, especially as burp cloths! The fabric is soft and breathable. These wash up well and retain the color. In terms of durability, these are good as burp cloths to wash cloths and everything in between. The color is as pictured. These are absorptive enough to use as burp cloths, too, where the fabric doesn’t repel liquid.

After using these burp cloths for a few months I’ve come back to revise my original review. While I stand behind these are not leakproof if using on your shoulder to catch a spewing baby’s spit up. They are excellent in every other way. I use them while burping my baby to help wipe up her face. I have a happy spitter She loves holding these burp cloths and I love using them to wipe her face or clean up other minor spills. They dry pretty quickly and don’t get too crusty.
Original review: If you are looking to buy this as a burp cloths look elsewhere. Spit up soaks right through onto your clothes. The cloths are soft and nice but not nearly as absorbent as I was needing. I even tried using two cloths at once and it still soaked through.

Really happy with these; purchased several packs as we go through them like crazy throughout the day. They’re perfectly soft and gentle for baby’s skin, and very versatile, from cleaning spit-up to using as wash cloths during bath time, and everything in between. As a first time parent I didn’t really consider something that could grow with my little one. I remember adding these and another color to my baby shower registry for my newborn. I am so happy I did, this has been the only burp cloth I’ll ever use and purchase for my future children too. The material is so soft and yummy, so you can use it as a face cloth to clean them. I’ve washed them so many times and they stay soft and durable, plus they do not shrink!. She’s 14 months old now and I have it in her play pen just in case I need to wipe her face or if she gets sick it’s a good boogie cloth! Versatile, efficient, easy worth the money. There’s one in every room of the house and in my bags. You won’t regret it!

I purchased more of these burp cloths after having my baby, having first received them as a shower gift. They are extremely soft, a good size, and wash up nicely. I’d say they get even softer after the first initial wash. That being said, they are not the most absorbant so milk can and will soak through, but I always fold in half to make it thicker and that definitely seems to help.

I have used and bought many different brands of burp cloths, and keep coming back for more of these. They are superior to all! So soft, super absorbent, and comes in all the colors. These wash well and last forever. I first bought some in 2020 for my daughter and have bought them again for my son. I’m not exactly sure why these are so so great, but they are! I have other muslin burp cloths, but they aren’t the same. They don’t absorb as much as these. 10/10 recommend!!!

Visited my sister in law recently. I was helping tidy up the ketches and noticed the dish towel they used to clean the counters was awesome not too thin it had scrubbing power and not too think so you can feel thru the cloth anything crumby or sticky to make sure the surface was wiped properly (dark counters). Cleaned (stayed white) really easily (including tomato sauce) between uses and dried faster than most cloths so it didn’t harbor any smells. And the texture was nice while using didn’t feel gross to use like being overly wet or not soaking enough when needed. Well when I asked her about it and where I could get some she told me they were my nieces old burp towels, lol. She just cut them to size. Well I don’t have a baby so I got on baby corner and found these and they work Amazing!! And not only was it the perfect size for a dish cloth but BONUS it had a loop in the corner for hanging!!! The picture is from the very first one I used from the pack. I received it June 30th and will be washing it this weekend this weekend as a precaution. But honestly I’d doesn’t smell and it doesn’t look like it needs it. It looks like it lost its shape from hanging it from the loop while it dries but honestly it’s not a big deal for me.if you’re really worried about it you can easily shape it back in place by putting it on the counter and gently tugging on it with palms out flat. It it goes back to a square like I show in the last 2 pictures. 💯 better than paper towels.
