Before getting this, I was heating up bottles by running warm water or by putting the bottles in a bowl of hot water, and it just wasn’t working well for me. It would take way too long to warm up, and I was constantly having to monitor the temperature to ensure it was at the right temp. This thing takes away the need to micromanage warming a bottle, is easy to use with the touch of a button, is fairly quick (generally ~5-7 minutes), and is pretty consistent! I give it 4 stars because it occasionally seems to not warm the bottles enough and I haven’t been able to figure out why (we have multiple of these so they can live at the grandparents house, and they all have the same issue every once in a while). To remedy this, I will give the bottle a quick shake and leave it in the bath for a little while after the warmer says its done. All in all, very glad to have this thing!

I did not want to believe the negative comments as we are talking about a leader brand in baby appliances but they are true!
The bottle heater simply does not work. You prepare the formula, put the bottle in, select the correct setting and water level and it just does not heat it up! So you end up with a crying baby in the middle of the night who will be unable to go back to sleep easily…

Man oh man, when I was putting together a baby registry I was nervous about this item. There had been so many food reviews but also so many bad ones. I look left and right to compare similar products and even though other brands’ may be cheaper, they have sooooooo many buttons to press just to hear a bottle of milk. Like who’s gonna be content pressing so many buttons in the morning when the baby is hungry? It just seems inefficient. You might save money buying other baby warmer but you lose time with feeding your baby and perhaps potential frustration that can be prevented.
So far, the product is really easy to use. Plug in, adjust to wanted temp, press start. Wait for full circle of light to indicate it’s done, press again to shut off. Simple, and works well.
The only thing that takes practice and getting use to, that I don’t always enjoy is filling up the water to the same line of milk in the bottle. It’s kinda hard to see the line match up perfectly. If Phillips can add a viewing window for water line that would make this product even more useful.

My youngest child is 7 weeks old and we are using this bottle warmer to reheat cold and/or frozen breastmilk multiple times a day. We’ve also used this warmer to warm cow’s milk and nutritional supplements for my oldest. I used a previous model (Philips Avent Fast Bottle Warmer, SCF355/00) for my first born and while I quite enjoyed that warmer, this one is far superior. The icons on this warmer are much easier to understand. I like that there are simple to read set points for milk volume instead of a sliding scale. I also love that I can set the bottle up a reasonable amount of time before a feeding and with the push of a button start the warming process. It takes only a few minutes to warm up a bottle of milk – the perfect amount of time to change a diaper before a middle of the night feeding. One tip: make sure you put cold water in the warmer, otherwise it won’t register the temperature of the milk and the bottle won’t heat up. I’ve made that mistake once or twice. My only complaint is that the cord could be a little longer. I find there’s only one location on my counter top that I can use it because the cord doesn’t reach to my second outlet but that’s a tiny complaint overall. I would recommend spending the few extra dollars on this warmer for any new parent that will be bottle feeding frequently.

We used to use a different bottle warmer by a brand from Australia in the past which was a bit more expensive but we decided to get this one for our new baby because of recommendations from our friends and also because it was a bit more affordable.
It works great and is super easy to clean and maintain. The warm-up time is a bit slow but as long as you don’t have to warm up in a hurry you will be fine. It does keep the bottle warm for an hour afterward also. The only two other things to know are it does not beep after finishing which is not that big of an issue, to be honest, and also if you are heating two bottles one after another it is not smart to know the temperature of the water in the unit already so it reheats the water again for the same duration causing the water to be a bit warmer than it needs to be. I think that’s a flaw in the design but it doesn’t affect us that much so it doesn’t bother us. I figured I share this though so you know in advance.

This is a very popular baby bottle warmer commonly found on registries. I put it on my own registry (actually 2 of them) and it works great! I honestly would’ve chosen a different one however. It does what it is supposed to do and only takes a couple minutes. I like the light feature around the knob so you can estimate when the bottle will be done. A lot of settings to use and easy.
Only 4 stars because any bottle you have to warm that is less than ~6oz you cannot see the water line. It is so hard to see where the water line hits on the bottle. I used a flashlight to look inside and see. When you have a screaming baby waiting for food trying to see where the water is is extremely frustrating to the point where you just dump in water without measuring and turn it on.
Also, the instructions need to be better and in a booklet form. Not this huge paper that needs to be unfolded like a map.

Bought as I was exploring the Avent baby line, have two other warmers and this one takes the cake. Yes, it’s a little more costly but seriously works so well. I love that I don’t have to finick with the temperature, just as long as the water height is correct, you get the perfect temperature every time. And it ACTUALLY heats in three minutes, I’ve found that other brands will warm but not to optimal temperature in that timeframe.
Not as important, but I love the sleekness and seamless design. It’s not just an eyesore on my counter. This purchase spurred on my obsession with the rest of the Avent line and I am not disappointed.

This review is not to add nor subtract from other reviews, which are confirmed and validated by us. This is a very fast bottle warmer, but does not automatically enter warming sustaining mode. However, since it is extremely fast, with warming bottled water to drinkable warm temperature in under 2 minutes, one can watch the dial indicator showing the warming process (rotating LED light circling around the bottle size dial) and rotate the dial to the sustaining position (furthest dial counterclockwise position) to enter sustain mode.
This warmer does not have adjustable temperature settings nor does it provide a temperature display, however, taking a reading after the bottle was warmed indicated that he warmed temperature to be 102.5 degrees Fahrenheit which is an acceptable temperature for most babies. It would be better if there were a way to set the temperature as babies’ preferences can vary.
Otherwise, for the price and method of heating, this is a good alternative for a bottle warmer.

The first bottle warmer we tried was the munchkin. It had really good reviews and we like the technology like the LCD screen. However, the temperature setting was only available in Celsius, which isn’t that hard to convert but it would’ve been nice to just be able to see a nice 98.6°. It also was very slow to heat up and did not pull the temperature of the bottle steady. The Phillips is very simple. You just set the dial to the ounces of milk in the bottle and push the power button. When the LED light stop spinning and stay solid, your milk is ready. A lot of times we have to add one or 2 ounces to the setting to get the right temperature but that may just be user preference. Our little one tends to like the milk under or at body temp. This bottle warmer will hold the milk at a very steady temperature for one hour and then shut off milk probably isn’t safe after an hour anyway unless kept in the fridge so if we have a bottle in the warmer longer than the hour we just throw it out.

Recently got the Philips AVENT Fast Baby Bottle Warmer SCF358/00 and it’s been a lifesaver, especially for night feeds. It warms a 5-ounce bottle in just about 3 minutes, which is super fast and really helpful when you have a hungry baby.
What I like most is how it circulates the milk while warming. This means no hot spots, which I was always worried about with microwaving. It’s not just for warming milk; I’ve used it to defrost breast milk and baby food too, and it works great.
It’s compatible with all Philips AVENT bottles and most other brands, so I didn’t have to buy special bottles to use it. The sensors adjust the heating based on milk volume and starting temperature, hitting the right temp every time. Plus, it keeps the milk warm for up to 60 minutes and then auto shuts off, so there’s no risk of overheating.
The progress light is a neat feature – it shows when the milk is ready without making any noise, which is perfect so it doesn’t wake the baby.
It’s also compact and looks nice on our nightstand. Cleaning is easy since it’s just one piece.
One minor thing is that you need to be careful to set the right volume for accurate warming, but once you get used to it, it’s not a big deal.
Overall, it’s efficient, easy to use, and works exactly as it should. Totally worth it for the convenience it brings to feeding time. Definitely a 5-star product!

This bottle warmer is quick and easy to use. You just put the bottle in, fill it with water to where it’s flush with the milk line, set the dial to how many oz (or mL) of milk you’re warming, and press start! The start button blinks in a ring for about 3-5 minutes, and once it’s fully lit the bottle is warm. I would think that it would just kinda keep the milk warm once it’s done, but it will continue heating it hotter and hotter if you don’t turn it off. So always check your milk temperature before feeding baby! Once we left it in for 10-15 minutes and it was too hot to give baby. This is a minor con though, and doesn’t affect us too much. Still love the bottle warmer!
