I adore this car seat. I think the purple is pretty for starters. It’s easy in install in the car. My daughter seems nice and comfortable when in it. The straps are easy to adjust. It’s a little bulky and heav, which makes me happy I don’t have to move it out of the car too often. The only issue we really have with this is the cup holders. They just fall right off. I think on is completely missing. Due to it happening over and over, it does become a bit annoying, but it’s manageable,and it doesn’t interfere with her safety.
She will be 2 in a couple of months and she is still facing backwards in this seat. It ca be face either way, and it can be adjusted to how it leans or sit straight up. It’s a great, because as she starts getting bigger, instead of buying her a new car seat that fits her weight and height, all we have to do is adjust this one. When I take care seats covers off to wash them I always have a hard time putting them back on properly. That may just be a me thing though.

We’ve been using this car seat for about three months now for our 1-year-old, and it’s been a great investment. Seems to be a good car seat with a much simpler design than most. The price is great. It fit well and snug in the vehicle. It’s not overly complicated like some of the more expensive ones are. Spent a lot of money on the one prior to this one and it was suppose to be great, but it was so complicated to put in the vehicle, and it was supposed to be easier to get the child but I did not find that to be so. I learned the hard way and spent a lot of unnecessary money on something that was a huge disappointment. I read the reviews in this one and decided to try it. Satisfied with this purchase. Oh! One more thing – it doesn’t take up too much space either.

Normally dont write reviews but going to write the review i needed at the time when i bought it. Previously had a Graco TriRide. Caused my kid to have car sickness, threw up twice in it the week we got it. It was impossible to clean, had to trash it. Tried this one instead. I’ve had it for over a year at this point. Kid has had maybe two or three car sickness episodes in it due to outside factors, I don’t blame the seat. She seems to like it well enough, seems comfy enough and she likes putting stuff in the cup holders.
Cons: it can be difficult to install into car and to tighten the straps on kid. Usually my husband has to install it into the car. I can do it, but I have to push the seat down by sitting in it, and tighten the strap by pulling really hard. It is slightly easier to tighten the install strap by taking the front edge of the car sear cover off just enough to pull the install strap back through the the gap under the cup holder but then you have to get the car seat cover back on. (There are probably other reviews with a better explanation). I dont use the seatbelt installation method because it makes the car seat way too sideways, no matter how loose or tight the seat belt strap is, since the shoulder strap is angled so high. Might be fine when we switch to front facing though. For the actual kid harness, the shoulder straps do get caught and it can get annoying to make sure it’s tight enough on the kid if you can’t pull it hard enough, because it gets caught on the back opening. But they can get tight enough, just something to be aware of. I knew that when I bought it so wasn’t surprised.
Pros: the cover removes and goes back on easy. Slides off. There’s 4 buttons. Easy. And it can be DRIED. No more waiting a day or two for it to air dry. I bought it specifically because I wanted to be able to dry the cover.
Cleaning food and vomit – it’s not super easy but way easier than the Graco seat we had. I do recommend getting 6inch cotton swab qtips and maybe a few long toothpick/skewers, maybe even a few pipe cleaners to have on hand just in case. But mainly the 6in cotton swabs. Buy them before you need them. Almost all spots can be cleaned, if you angle it right. Not great, harder if you have bigger hands, but not impossible. The ability to get it clean was the number 1 reason I bought this seat. There might be newer, better seats now but this one worked for us!

I bought this for a back up seat for my grand babies. We have a 22 month old and a newborn. This car seat easily adapts for both kids. My sister and I take turns babysitting one or the other on any given day and we transfer this car seat easily between our cars. The kids parents each have a car seat in their cars ( Graco SlimFit and a Diono Radian® 3QX), but they are heavy and transferring them from their mom and dads cars on a daily basis was a pain. This Safety 1st seat is lightweight and easy to get in and out of the car, but still feels solid and safe when installed. Initially it was a bit of a struggle to install as we had way more play in the seat than the one and a half inches recommended for safety. After reading the instructions more thoroughly found that if we applied weight on the seat using a knee as we were buckling it, the seat became more solid as the air from the car cushions deflated and made the seat much more solid in the car. In fact there is NO wiggling at all. It feels like its cemented into the car. The 22 month old totally loves this car seat! She likes using both cup holders and finds the cushioning quite comfortable. She easily goes to sleep when she needs to and her head is supported quite nicely. Plenty of leg room for her too as she grows. The one month old hasn’t been out in it yet, but the extra padding and adjustments for him are easy schmeezy. The washable/dryable feature is the best. Our girl loves blueberries and raspberries in her snack cup so you can imagine what a mess that can make. Bought it on Prime Day and spent less than half than what the Graco cost. Great purchase.

Its soft enough and have the features I want, reclining positions, 5 point harness, rear facing till older, booster. My 2.5 month old baby is happy in it and that says a lot. Its quite high for a car seat as she can actually look out of the window. Got it when there was a discount so we feel like it was a steal.

Car seat is great, very sturdy, great size, read directions well before attempting to use. Straps adjustment can be troublesome if you don’t read directions. Overall easy to install and use. Easy getting grand baby in and out of seat. However, do not purchase base unit sold with car seat as it will not work with upright seat, only works with infant carrier type seat. Our 6 mth old doesn’t mind being in the seat, with the extra padding it is comfy, and it’s easy to wipe down. Haven’t had to wash cover yet but seems easy to remove according to directions. Seat sits high enough & sides are slim enough that baby can see out the vehicle windows fairly easily. Overall, so far rating 5 stars. Will report any future updates.
