Me da soporte en la cadera que es lo que mas necesito

Shipping was slow and the storage bag containing the pillow was dirty/dusty, but pillow itself was clean and works for me.

This is a hard item to review because sold as-is it’s totally unusable. The back pillow is great because it stops you from rolling onto your back but the belly pillow (same as back) is WAY too high. There’s no way anyone’s belly is safely and comfortably resting on top of it.

I was lamenting to my husband about how back the pillow is great but the belly pillow is terrible and he suggested I took the belly pillow out (leaving the back pillow in) and replacing it with my wedge pillow, also Boppy brand. YOU GUYS. This is it! It fits perfectly in there and it is the best pregnancy pillow out there. I’ve tried them all — c-shape, u-shape, wedges, regular body pillow — I value comfortable sleep. This pillow with one of the pillow inserts replaced with a wedge (and a regular bed pillow long-ways between legs) is *chef’s kiss*.

Now, if Boppy would fix this pillow so the belly pillow is a wedge and you don’t need to waste money and materials making it yourself, that would be even better.

So to summarize, this is a big part of the recipe for a perfect pregnancy pillow, but alone it is unusable.

I didn’t want a full pregnancy pillow snake and this design is really good at allowing me to roll over in bed while providing bump support and preventing me from laying flat on my back and not needing to readjust a million pillows.

I’m 6 months pregnant and I’ve been using it for almost 2 months now. The first week or so took some getting used to. The space between the pillows felt too close and the pillows too plump. The pillowcase itself actually stretches quite a bit over time, but shrinks right back into original shape once washed. I found that the first few days of the freshly washed pillowcase were uncomfortable on my back as the night went on but once it had stretched a bit I was able to be more comfortable and not worry about rolling onto my back.

I think personal preference I would prefer a couple of wedges sewn together because the pillows are pretty plump. Maybe the plumpness will be appreciated more when my stomach gets bigger but for now they can feel like they’re squishing me a bit if not adjusted just right.

Overall, the product does it’s job. Helps keep me on my side, is machine washable, and doesn’t take up the whole bed. Wish it didn’t take me 2 weeks to get it stretched to my comfort level but generally happy with the purchase.

I am naturally one to sleep on my back because I have neck issues and no it’s the most comfortable, so I am not sure if my review will help everyone. BUT, for a previously nightly back or left side sleeper in my third trimester, I am struggling to stay off my back. This kind of helps but not really.

Pros: People were complaining in reviews about it being too loose or too little…it’s cloth…it can shrink or expand with use or washing and drying. The cloth is comfortable. It is easyish to move around in the middle of the night and doesn’t take up mass amounts of space if you’re sharing your bed. It also looks like a giant pair of testes so there’s a fun humor facor involved. 🙂

Cons: It is not comfortable for me. I end up sleeping on part of it and have terrible muscle cramps in the morning and honestly it doesn’t seem to keep me on my back regardless of where I position it, but I keep trying because I figure maybe it would be worse without.

This will be very unique fitting for everyone, but I will say it’s a thousand times better than my expensive c pillow since I actually like my husband in bed with me!

Pillow really helped with my sleep during the 2nd trimester, sides are soft/comfy and stretchable so it doesn’t disrupt movement when you turn at night (unlike those large C-shaped pillows). And it’s small enough to bring around to travel in the car or plane.

This pillow is so comfortable to sleep with. It supports both front and back well. I had the best night sleep in a long while and I wish I’d bought it with my first pregnancy.

Update: This pillow has been my best friend! by the third trimester this pillow was very helpful! I used it with the big body pillow because sleeping was so uncomfortable. In fact I needed it to sit in any chair as well, I literally brought it to work with me. Post-pregnancy I use this pillow to support my arm during nursing/bottle feeding. This pillow is a must have! Just be aware it might not be that helpful as first, as my original review stated.

I bought this pillow because there are a lot of great reviews. I am just at the end of my first trimester and I wanted to avoid the huge body pillow. I have been uncomfortable since about 6 weeks, so I read many reviews on all sorts of pillows and brands and decided to give this a try. I really wanted to like it, but after a month of trying, I give up. I wake up with back pain. The pillow part on the sides is comfortable and if I use it between my legs (instead) it is fine. I’ve been using it behind my back to make me more comfortable as a side sleeper. It is successful in preventing me from rolling on my stomach, which I used to do a lot. I rarely sleep flat on my back to, if I do then I really wake up very uncomfortable from this pillow. I am not sure if the middle space is not wide enough or maybe there should be cushioning, but for me personally this pillow doesn’t work. I wake up with back pain 85% of the time. And I already have upper back pain with this pregnancy, so if you do to-maybe avoid this pillow.

    Me encanta.

I was surprised this item was rated so high. The two pillows are connected by a piece of fabric (nothing adjustable) and they aren’t actually wedge shaped. The zipper is in an unfortunate position so it jabs into your skin.

  12. AT

Could not use the pregnant pillow as it was too big for the bed and would not make my arm comfortable. The took up less space and if I rolled over I don’t have to flip the pillow to the other side-unlike the pregnancy pillow, which was great.

I found this to be the best pregnancy pillow for me after trying at least 5 others, including u shaped, c shaped and other butterfly style pillows. I was specifically looking for one that is not adjustable by velcro because I found the velcro to move over time and uncomfortable anyway. I found the single piece construction of this pillow to work the best. The middle fabric does stretch out a bit over time but I still find it to be supportive, and I’m still in my 2nd trimester with only a small bump. This pillow prevents me from sleeping on my back a lot more than the u shaped and c shaped chunky pillows too. I also love that the fabric is soft and comfy.

I got this pillow because I trusted the brand. I bought it probably around week 9-10 of my pregnancy, I’m 26 weeks now. When I first got it and laid down with it I thought it was a little tight and hoped it would stretch a bit. Since then I have gotten really terrible leg pain, and just this morning realized that the pillow was forcing my spine into a weird position which probably wasn’t helping the middle of the night charlie horses. I’m 5’3″ and 220 lbs so maybe it’s because I’m a bigger gal and if you were a skinny mini it wouldn’t be this uncomfortable but this is truly uncomfortable.

Was really excited to try this, but it just isn’t working. First and most importantly, there is absolutely NO stretchiness in the middle panel. I’m plus size at baseline, and now starting my last trimester. I shifted back and forth for at least 30 minutes trying to stretch this and find a good place for me lay on, but I always ended up with my back being far up onto the pillow, or my bump being held up at an awkward and uncomfortable angle. I don’t think I’d find a comfortable angle even pre-pregnancy. Baby did NOT like it either, though I’m not going to hold that against the pillow.

Being stretchy and being able to “grow as you grow” is a HUGE draw of this pillow, so I was really disappointed to find out that wasn’t the case. If you’re thin normally, you may be able to find a comfortable spot to lay – I’m not sure. I was between giving this 2 or 3 stars. I decided on 3 because the pillow itself was well made, pretty, and seemed like it would be good if you were able to get comfortable. If you’re normally thin, you might be able to find a comfortable spot (not sure). It might be worth a try. However, I’m returning it.

I had a large pregnancy pillow, but I didn’t like it because I couldn’t use my regular pillow, so I switched to this one. Love this pillow. First, it absolutely sandwiches you in and keeps you on your side. Alternatively, if I want to be in my back, it lifts one side up enough to where I’m not completely flat (even though the latest evidence seems to show bring on your back isn’t actually harmful to the fetus) I do have to switch sides during night because my hip starts to hurt, but that’s because I’m on my side for too long – nothing to do with this pillow. Point is, it does keep me on my side, is comfortable, and small enough that I can still use my regular pillow and my husband has room in bed.

What I don’t like about it is how quickly it stretches out. The middle part stretches so there’s much more room in middle. This means you’re not as snug in between the two pillows by the 3rd night of using. It does snap back to normal if you wash it. You can’t just throw in dryer, have to get it wet and then dry it. To wash is very easy too. Just unzip both sides to remove the pillows and wash the cover. But overall, very pleased with this pillow and glad I bought it.

  19. Nicole

This pillow is so comfortable to sleep with. It supports both front and back well. I had the best night sleep in a long while and I wish I’d bought it with my first pregnancy.

  20. Brooke B

I bought this pillow when I was about 3 or 4 months pregnant because I started to get really uncomfortable while sleeping. My belly was starting to throw my entire body off and I would wake up with back pain and shoulder pain. It was terrible. I knew that I didn’t want one of those huge snake like body pillows because i still wanted to use my own head pillow and still cuddle my husband. Along with I wanted him to still be able to cuddle me. After I bought and started using this pillow, I have slept great. I love that it holds up the weight of the belly and supports my backs at the same time. It stops me from sleeping completely on back while being able to switch sides and lean on the back pillow to sleep at different angles. This is my first pregnancy, but I can assume that sleeping while pregnant is always a challenge to get comfortable with the extra weight and some aches and pains that come along with it. But this pillow has been a god sent. I obviously still sometimes am uncomfortable while sleeping, but this pillow has cut it way down. I am also about to have our baby in about three weeks. I still sing nothing but praises for this pillow. I recommend it to all of my pregnant friends. I am even about to buy one for my close friend who just found out that she is pregnant.

I read some of the reviews that said this pillow was annoying when you were super pregnant or it should be more adjustable to accommodate the belly at different sizes. I never had any of these issues with this pillow. I washed it as regularly as I wash my head pillows and I haven’t seen the quality go down or anything.

FUN SIDE NOTE: My husband tried this pillow because he has been really curious about it while I was at work. He twists a lot in his sleep and winds up hurting his back. HE LOVED IT. He says that it stopped him from twisting his chest and back while sleeping. He wants me to order him one or give him mine once I am not pregnant. I am not sure what we are gonna do because I don’t know if I wanna give mine up! LOL.
