I bought this pair of softball pants along with an Under Armour belt. I really wish the two departments would talk to one another. The belt does not fit through the belt loops on these pants. So is it a problem with the loops or is it a problem with the belt? Either way, I despise them. In addition to that, my daughter has this exact same pair/size in white. I always wash them in hot water. I washed these (black) in hot water and air dried them and my daughter swears they shrunk

Only style / brand my daughter likes. Shes shorter with thicker legs and these look great, She’s normally a 10/12 or a woman’s 2. She’s 4’8 and 103lbs. The medium fits her great the price is great for how durable they are. The materialist very thick but it’s not see through ( unless you get white) but it stretches and lasts. She likes them and says they aren’t as hot as other pants and moves with her. Like every other pants, the belt is rough to get through but it does fit and work.

These are nice but man the sizing is weird! My daughter is a size 14-16. I got her large and XL both were huge — I’d get her medium but it’s not available. Crazy sizing
Mickenzi Mitchell –
The sizing and fit is way off, especially compared to a pair we ordered two years ago. My 9yo daughter is tall for her age, solidly/athletically built (4’8″ and 75lb), and she normally wears size 10/12 in clothes. She has a pair of youth Under Armour softball pants from two years ago that are size Medium. So we went up a size to L. It was way too big. I gave it to my tall and thin 13yo girl to try. It was too big even on her! So I exchanged them for a size small. The size small fits my 9yo almost perfect, except now they’re a bit short. They stop right at the bottom of her knee, so there is sometimes a gap between her socks and these pants, depending on the socks she wears. It’s annoying. These will be a pack-up pair.
So with that said, I give these three stars bc the last pair we had were great, and I do like how thick & sturdy these are. But this batch is only meh.

These are super nice material and the color is great. The size for 10/12 ran a little bigger so I washed them in hopes they would shrink. The inside band has like rubber/silicone lettering in “softball” the waist has a nice place to put a belt if needed. Definitely worth the money and I got it on sale for $20!the thickness is like not too thick but also not thin. Great breathable material! Will update how durable they are when the time comes!

Excellent!

We had to return because they were too small, but the quality was good! They look and feel like a good baseball pant.
My daughter wears an Old Navy -18 Plus- jean and women’s medium shirt. I ordered an XL going off of reviews and they were really snug. I’d say the XL fit like a snug 16/18 regular. 🙂 Women’s medium shirt in the photo for reference.

When you have daughter who is rough and tough these softball pants hold up! Great fit. My daughter is almost 5ft and is stocky got a youth XL! She said they are comfortable.

I e had girls playing softball for more than 20yr. My kids are age 11 to 29. Four girls.
I’ve bought softball pants for the most part of my life lol. These aren’t it.
My 11yr old is a littler under average for her weight (chemotherapy for half of her life). She’s not overly tall but she is a little above average on height. These pants are so ridiculous that she couldn’t even bend forward the slightest bit without her shirt coming untucked and if she squatted she’s sporting some plumber butt. Idk what was wrong with this one….the brand is one we have used for years and we have never gotten a pair of pants that resembled something Tiny Tim would wear in a musical 🤣
It hurt my feelings because these are pricier than some and the pair she’s settled in with are just off brand practice pants I picked up in a set of 3. I bought these for game days but they won’t make the cut.
I feel like there’s only an inch from crotch to waistband. She kept trying to tug them up which resulted in camel toe so if u pull them up u look ridiculous and if u leave them down you expose your butt crack. If you’re a catcher you most certainly don’t want these and if u DO get them and decide to actually wear them you will be picking at the crotch, tugging them up and thinking about the pants more than your paying attention to the ball. Stay away.

Followed reviews for sizing up, my child is thick in legs and needs high rise in waist & the YL fits perfectly! They stretch well but not baggy in the legs.

Daughter likes these. Fits good, stretchy. Little see through. Just as long as girls wear white underwear than your good. She moves and bends in them good. Runs a little bit big but worth it to be comfortable. Add the belt & good to go.

bought the Under Armour Girls Utility Softball Pants for my granddaughter, and they’ve been perfect for her games! The material is high-quality, stretchy, and super comfortable, allowing her full range of motion on the field without feeling restricted. They’re also lightweight and breathable, which keeps her cool during those long, hot games.
The fit is great and true to size, with an adjustable waistband that provides extra comfort and a secure fit. These pants are also easy to wash, and even after multiple uses, they’ve held up well without fading or losing their shape. The reinforced knees are an added bonus, giving her extra protection when sliding. I’d highly recommend these softball pants for any young athlete looking for comfort, durability, and style!

They are great pants, but run very big. My daughter is tall and thin and typically wears a size 8 in clothes and the medium is falling off of her. I recommend sizing down.

My daughter absolutely loves these pants and we’ve been buying them for years! She is not big, per se, but is on the short-side and a little thicker through the thighs. These fit her great! They are a little thin, but she wears sliding shorts so it’s not a problem.

True to fit – good value – not see through

Hello – I’m reaching out hoping someone can get in touch with me to help me return these pants.

We love these pants, no complaints

These were cheaper than buying them in store. I bought a size medium for my 11 year old. She normally wears a size 11/12 in her clothing. Or an adult xs. These fit her well with the sliding shorts I think that’s what they’re called with extra padding. The pants hit right below her knees.

Bought these pants for my daughter’s all star uniform. They fit great, look great, and lasted the entire district and state tournament. Color was pretty much exactly as shown in photos.
Whimdesire –
My child wears an under armour small (if I bought from say academy) and these pants fit exactly the same as the under armour brand from your local academy. Sizing chart was accurate (my daughter wears a size 8 in girls and the sizing chart recommended size small for 8yr olds) Sizing was perfect for us. Looks like a good quality item, haven’t worn them yet for games – did try the item on at home though once they arrived.
Julia –
These are a poor fit and look frumpy. The elastic on the legs isn’t right enough / I would say it wouldn’t even be right enough on a full grown man.
daye –
Fall season starts soon. The pants look good.
Sara83 –
My daughter typically wears a girls Large (10/12). She is 12 years old, very slender build. The large were WAY too big in the waist and thighs so she will need to size down to a girls medium (7/8). I’m just saving the Large for next year’s softball season. Hopefully they fit then.

I bought this for my daughter to wear this spring softball season. The material is great. The pants are well designed and sewn. My reason for only giving 4 stars instead of 5 stars is because they ran very big. I measured my daughter and ordered the size that the size chart suggested. However they are two sizes too big and only stay on if I really tighten her belt. I would have returned them for a smaller size but she had a game and needed a uniform to wear immediately. I will definitely buy them again however
next time I will buy a much smaller size.

Don’t make the mistake I did and order these pants in a Youth Large when your girl grows out of the Youth Medium- they are waaaay too big- I would guess they are closer to a Woman’s Medium or Small. Otherwise order item as a try it before you buy it.I would return them, but they want to charge me an additional $8 to send them back, with NO option to drop off at the UPS store. On principle, I can’t do that, they should allow free returns just like every other item.So now I am stuck with a pair of softball pants that we may or may not be able to use in a year or two, provided she doesn’t get switched to a different team by then that has different pant color requirements.I am super disappointed in this seller. And what’s up with Under Armor not sticking to STANDARD INDUSTRY SIZES?!There’s probably a reason they were selling this color for $25 vs. the $40+ for the other colors. Perhaps they know the size is labeled wrong. Just sayin’

My daughter is 8 and wears a size 10 Therese worked perfect and are comfortable!
Crunchy Momma –
Very sharp, heavy duty, nice fit, will order again! The only down side, they took a REALLY long time to get here.
Dani Cole –
Such a great idea- cropped softball pants!! No more having to roll them up or them sliding down during games! They are perfectly cropped and look sharp at all times! Highly recommend!
Leslie Lewis –
Great pants for softball but we had to send back because they were too big

I got these for my daughter and while they look awesome and seem to be made really well, the sizing was off a whole size. I had to return to size up. The next size up fit perfect. I do find this to be a regular problem with Under Armour.
