This product is great quality, I originally ordered it because of my pregnancy – I continue to use it postpartum. I do think it helped prevent stretch marks on my belly, but they truly are based on genetics because even enough I used this product all over I still did get stretch marks elsewhere. This product has helped lighten them with consistency, it’s very moisturizing – I love using it after shaving! It doesn’t have an odd smell or anything, the thickness is as to be expected with any body oil.
I have this product on auto purchase every 3 months along with another product that’s this brand and it’s been perfect for me!

I LOVE Bio-Oil!
I discovered Bio-Oil about 18 years ago thanks to a feature in ‘Parent’ magazine, and I’ve been a true believer ever since. I started using it during my pregnancy, and let me tell you—it worked wonders!
At the time, I was only 95 lbs., and by the end of my pregnancy, I had gained quite a bit, reaching 138 lbs. So yes, my belly did a lot of stretching. But not a single stretch mark on my tummy. This oil is truly amazing.
Now I’m in my late 40s, still rocking crop tops and low-cut jeans. I have younger sisters who had kids before I did, and unfortunately, stretch marks were something they couldn’t avoid. But I honestly believe Bio-Oil made all the difference for me.

The scars and marks I have used it on have ranged from deep to a little scratch, and though they take different amounts of time to heal, bio oil immensely helps the healing product. It is extremely moisturizing, it absorbs well into my skin, and it is easy to apply. It comes out in drops or you can squeeze the bottle to get more.
The only downside to this product that I don’t like is the smell. To me it has a strong smell that I know might be a dealbreaker for others. But this will last you a while and it is worth it.

I was super skeptical about this, but I bought a small bottle while it was on sale for prime day. I’ve noticed a significant improvement in the color and texture of three scars on my leg. I’ve been applying the bio oil to these spots once or twice a day for the last 10 days. Two of these are from a knee surgery 6 months ago, and the color has softened a little and they’re not as noticeable. The skin is much smoother too. The other scar is a newer one I got at work, and that one has also shown significant improvement in color and texture. It definitely works faster on newer more mild scarring, but I’m still pleased with the improvement of the surgical scars. I wish I had taken before and after pictures just to compare the difference.
The oil is also very light weight and works well with my sensitive skin. I’ve not had any issues with break outs or reactions which I often have with some oil based products.

This really makes my skin look better, i think. But even if I’m just imagining it, it feels great. A lot of my products in my nighttime routine are harsh and my skin has a burning tingle to it after using them, but i apply some of this last and my skin instantly feels so good! This stuff is AMAZING! If it wasn’t comedogenic, I’d be pouring this all over my body and would need little else in the way of face serums and body lotions. It even worked on the brown scars left from a skin graft I had almost 1 year ago…visible, noticeable difference from one day to another after I started using this. (If I had known, I would have taken before and after pictures.) It is greasy at first, of course, but then your skin absorbs it like a sponge and it leaves your skin very smooth. The scent makes applying it an aroma-therapeutical experience for me, since I love scents. Please, please come up with a non-comedogenic formula soon…unless it takes away everything that is great about this oil.

This product is great quality, I originally ordered it because of my pregnancy – I continue to use it postpartum. I do think it helped prevent stretch marks on my belly, but they truly are based on genetics because even enough I used this product all over I still did get stretch marks elsewhere. This product has helped lighten them with consistency, it’s very moisturizing – I love using it after shaving! It doesn’t have an odd smell or anything, the thickness is as to be expected with any body oil.

I was super skeptical about this, but I bought a small bottle while it was on sale for prime day. I’ve noticed a significant improvement in the color and texture of three scars on my leg. I’ve been applying the bio oil to these spots once or twice a day for the last 10 days. Two of these are from a knee surgery 6 months ago, and the color has softened a little and they’re not as noticeable. The skin is much smoother too. The other scar is a newer one I got at work, and that one has also shown significant improvement in color and texture. It definitely works faster on newer more mild scarring, but I’m still pleased with the improvement of the surgical scars. I wish I had taken before and after pictures just to compare the difference.
The oil is also very light weight and works well with my sensitive skin. I’ve not had any issues with break outs or reactions which I often have with some oil based products.

This really makes my skin look better, i think. But even if I’m just imagining it, it feels great. A lot of my products in my nighttime routine are harsh and my skin has a burning tingle to it after using them, but i apply some of this last and my skin instantly feels so good! (If I had known, I would have taken before and after pictures.) It is greasy at first, of course, but then your skin absorbs it like a sponge and it leaves your skin very smooth. The scent makes applying it an aroma-therapeutical experience for me, since I love scents. Please, please come up with a non-comedogenic formula soon…unless it takes away everything that is great about this oil.

For the price, this is a great value! I have only used a handful of times, so cannot speak to any scarring results, but the oil smells nice, has a super soft texture and will last several months with daily use. Will update after a few months of use with thoughts on scarring results.

This is my first time using bio oil and so far over the past couple weeks of using it I definitely can see an improvement in my skin. You don’t need much, as a little, goes a long way. It’s really easy to put on & It also absorbs into your skin nicely with a smooth feel to it. I’m definitely gonna buy more once I finish this bottle.
